The glow in his horn and eyes slowly dimmed just slightly, leaving only the glow of Layne's golden wings. "... ugh..." |

"We... we should find the other students, somebody else has to know something that'll help," he insisted, looking out the window with some reluctance in his sapphire eyes. "Or at least one of us has to." |

I shake out my pelt and bend down to the deer to take a bite. I look up at the sky. "Its already dusk?! We didnt hunt THAT long, right?" I take another bite of the deer. I dont feel ready to go back to the school yet, and hunting with Alex was fun. |

I take one more bite of the deer and lay on my back, watching the stars appear. |
