Oh shoot. He could read minds, I remembered. "I just kinda survived. I hunted for food, and lived mostly as a wolf. That's why I shift into a wolf when I'm feeling strong emotions, it feels safer and better." I look at my lap. I'm glad that I have someone I can talk to. Pierce is making me feel so much better. |

And I do not look the look on Pierce's face, like he is going to kiss her. First, ewww, second, I like him a little. I shift my gaze to look at my paws. What am I thinking. I sit there blushing for what seems like hours. Thankfully I am a wolf so no one can see it. |

I watch Alex, and wonder at her past. She seems so happy, so easily. I don't think that she got hurt like me and Pierce. But what could have happened to make her come to this school? Most of the students here had something make them come. Usually something traumatic. But maybe she'd just come normally. |
