I end up shaping it into a small bird, looking a bit like Lyka. I make a small cloud and let it cool down the glass figure. When it was cold enough to touch, I closed my eyes. As I opened them, I smiled when I saw the little glass statue had turned gloden-brown. I set it next to Lyka, who look almost the same. |

I said, between nibbles and strokes. "I just wanted to see my friend! And how are you?" I flap my wings, loving the feeling of having them. I hear Pierce put the little statue next to me, and trill with happiness. "That's so pretty! Who is it?" |

I step up, careful not to claw him. "No way, I'm not that pretty! It looks a bit like Alex though..." I trail off, looking thoughtfully at them. I wonder why Skylar and Mr. Zeller haven't talked in a while. Especially Skylar. Even if he's going through losing his mom, it's not like him to be this quiet. |

I snuggle into his fingers, and chirp contentedly. "Hate to mess up this moment, but doesn't it seem weird? I mean, those students outside haven't come in, and there haven't been any monsters at all. Wouldn't there have at least been one?" My grayish wings tremble. What if these monsters are so sneaky that we're already surrounded? |
