I don't want to be taking more risks, but I also feel like there may be something wrong. I smile at Alex, glad for her comforting lick, and walk over to Pierce and sit down. "Shhh." I say. "It's okay, don't hurt yourself again." |

"Okay," I tell him. "I agree." I sit next to Pierce again, and say, "Hey, how are you doing? Do you wanna fly up and sit on the ledge with me?" I shift to a human and put my hand on his. I wonder if Skylar's okay. He hasn't spoken in a long time. I smile sadly at him, hoping he'll be okay. |
