Inti didn't know what to do. He definitely wanted to try to make Sirius feel better, but he didn't know how to. He also wanted to go to the other wolves so he could help search for Aspen's body and even help her in case she was still alive. It was even tempting to confront Farris about his attempted coup and its fatal aftermath, but he wasn't sure if this would make the pack's situation and his relationship with him better or worse. Everything felt so delicate. Why Aspen? Why Sirius? Why me? Why now? Why? He thought, closing his eyes tight.

Sirius felt terrible. She had told Inti she was weak and made him weak, too. "But, you know...i saw the dead human. And it would be very disrespectful to not bury Aspen, if..."

Inti stepped back to give Sirius some space. "So... do you want go with me and the rest? You don't have to see Aspen if you don't want to, but I can't leave you alone."

Luna listened to Inti and Sirius. Aspen was a good wolf....although Farris.....I don't trust. The bear, the mountain lion, him. He seems like a danger to the pack. Inti appeared here randomly and Sirius is a good wolf too. Luna then smelled a smell. It was a wolf smell. Luna's hackles raised and she released a low growl. "A new wolf?" Luna whispered to herself. She watched Farris, wondering if this was one of his plans. Maybe it was to lure few by few and attack them. Then, he would tell the alpha, lead him down, and attack him. Luna shook away the thought. I will protect them. I'm am a pretty good warrior if I do say so myself. Maybe all of those months fighting as a loner paid off. At least the pack took me in. Although I was only 9 months. No, stop, focus Luna. Luna thought, her ears swiveling. They were listening to every slight sound. She also smelled the wind, waiting for another smell to appear, though she was hoping one wouldn't.

Inti caught another scent and turned in its direction. "Luna?"

Luna's ears rose toward Inti. "Yes?" she asked. Did I scare him? she wondered, still watching Farris out of the corner of her eye.

Sirius looked back. "Luna! Luna, I'm a bit...well, scared."

Luna looked at Sirius. "For Aspen?" Luna asked. She was hopeful that Aspen could still be alive although the chance was slim. I'm a bit scared too. Farris can't hurt us as long as we're together. Luna thought.

(just to make things clear, is Sirius an adult or pup? I joined a bit late so I really don't know ^^́')

(Sirius is an almost six-month-old pup)

"Good thing you're safe!" Inti said with relief, only to crouch down with a sad face. "Do you know what happened to Aspen?"

(alright, thank you)

Luna looked and Inti. "Farris," Luna whispered, trotting closer to them. "had a mountain lion with him. They were fighting and Aspen fell. The mountain lion ran off into the woods. I think that Aspen still might be alive." Or at least I hope she is. Luna thought. She let her tail fall down sadly. Her ears still swiveled, listening. She looked at Inti and said, "There is another wolf here though. I can smell it." Luna growled under her breath, trying to keep it silent.
