As you do, the scales on its cheek rip, allowing you to drag out one long gash as you retract the arrow.

The beast is spent reeling, and hisses as flattens itself into the grass, seeming to think and study you for a moment.

The creature then bursts toward you, and before you can do anything, is wrapped around you, squeezing mercilessly.

You feel your bones threaten to break and some of your joints dislocate as you rip your paw from its grasp to attack again. The coils of its body getting tighter and tighter each time.
