"Selene come here." I shout over the ruckus because on of the kits just did a backflip somehow." I saw something you will never believe happened." I smile and take the kits in my mouth and set them near Selene

"Coming! I'll just wake the others!!!" I yell to Ace, and run to wake them up. I go into another part of the caves and wake Timber and Alex. "Hey guys! Good morning! Night had kits! Breakfast needs hunting- I mean- you know what? go to Ace? Also! Wake up Blaze for me, will ya? Thank you!!!" I say in a rush and run over to find Bagheera. She wasn't in my parts of the caves.

Where is she? I wonder and run out of the caves. I look around. No sign of her. Sudnestly, the smell of blood drifts through the air, it was really strong. Oh no. I follow the scent down towards a grove of trees. The smell got stronger and stronger. I ran as fast as my legs could take me. Please be alright! I spot her tail and as I come closer, I accinesttally step into a pool of blood. "Ack!" I yelp and jump away.

I nearly fainted when I saw her. She was tangled up in human barbed wires, and the wires had cut through her skin. She was bleeding all over and her eyes were scared and eerily still. "No! No! No! Please be alive!" I slowly approach her. She wasn't moving. She wasn't brstuff cheekshing.

I felt tears running down my eyes. She hadn't been that nice to me at first but... she didn't deserve this... I curse at the humans, and lot out a howl of sorrow. I head back to camp, not knowing what to do with this information. Today was supposed to be a good day. Night just had kits. But... how was I going to tell them? How could I? Do I just... keep quiet until someone else finds her? No. they need to know. I enter the cave, my head down and tail between my legs.

I had left bloody paw prints on the cave floor, and I headed to wash them off. I went over to the others, who were standing together. I'll tell them later.

"Selene. You look worried," she said. "Is everything alright? Are Nightingale's kits okay?"

I tried to calm down. My brstuff cheekshing was shaky. "Y-yeah, they're fine. Very cute" I managed to say, sturrering as I spoke. "I'm alright" I say. My voice sounded too cheerful. I have to tell them. No. not yet

I try to control my brstuff cheekshing..Don't panic. Don't panic. "I uh" I gulp "Found Bagheera in the forest... she wasn't..." I hold back tears, remembering her face, her eyes filled with pain and agony. Nobody has looked for her... I was too late... If I had just looked sooner. If I had cared... I sink to the floor. "She's gone. I was too late" I managed to mumble.

Pandora's eyes dropped sadly. She hadn't known the cat for long, but Bagheera had been kind to her. Pandora would miss her. "How did she die?" Pandora asked.
