Pandora woke up with the sun warming her scales, and Selene and Ace nearby. "Good morning," she said. The warm sun, the fragrant flowers, the quiet murmuring of the river... she quite liked this spot.

"Any time." I say. Something strips in my gut. The pups. Are they here? I walk back to my nest with layored steps. I moans as I practically fall in to a laying position. "Sparrowhawk" I whisper.

He padded inside-then froze as he heard Night's whisper. He ran, skidding to a stop at their nest, thankful that he'd put the moss and ferns and feathers from yesterday in it. "What is it?!" He asked, pressing his muzzle against her face, comforting her from something he didn't know. He closed his eyes, taking in the scent of the nest. What if... was she having her pups?

I go with Night and see Sparrow." Let me help Sparrow I know how to do this stuff." I say and go grab some herbs and more moss." Can I please help her? It'll be less painful." I ask Sparrow

He nodded silently, but started sorting through the herbs. Buckwheat, to help with broken bones and healing. Calendula, for infected wounds. Horsetail, stop bleeding and heal wounds. These were interesting herbs. But he knew that they would probably help, at least a bit. He nudged a rock away though. Rocks would not help.

I look up. My mate in moving a rock. I breath heavy in my abdomen tightens. It is too early for work. It is still sunrise. I turn my head to watch Sparrowhawk. He always makes my fell better.

He felt his mate watching him and turned around, padding back to her. She seemed to be in pain, but he licked her face, trying to calm her down. His tail dipped between his legs, but he stayed with her, sweetly comforting her even though he was scared himself. He wished he had a dandelion for her, it was a painkiller. And also Juniper Berries and Lamb's ear.

"The pups are coming now?" Pandora's head jerked up in surprise and she moved a little closer to Nightingale, but gave her space. She didn't have any experience with this sort of thing. Now there are two litters in camp, she realized. Would their small group be able to support this many young ones, especially after the disaster? We'll be fine. We have plenty of capable animals here, and there's plenty of food and shelter.

"good morning pandora! nice sleeping spot you got there!" Night is having pups! Oh gosh! Should I help with anything? Maybe it's best to stay out of the way? She was always there for me? Maybe I should help in any way? UUUUGH I don't know!!!! I've never dealt with people before WHY IS THIS SO HARD!!!

I looked at my paws and realised I had shredded a leaf that I had picked up by the river. I sigh and walk over to the cave entrance where Night, Sparrow and Ace were. What Night probably needs right now is space. I should give her space. The pups have woken up. I should go make sure they don't fall into the river. I pick up Hawk and Luna and bring them over to where Pandora was. I lay down with them and continue my frantic worrying.

Pandora looked down at the pups. She didn't have any maternal instincts, so she talked to Selene instead. "Nightingale will be okay," she reassured her. "Sparrowhawk is helping her, and her instincts will guide her."
