May be too late in labor. I've heard if they are like within thirty minutes of popping, you can't use the feather

The vixen hummed a little as she dragged the branch to rest it right next to the tree then calmed down completely.

"You can come of the den. It feels safe now", she said then looked at the sky and closed her eyes before opening them again, "We are lucky to have you Mischka. Don't ever forget that".

She spoke warm and soft but full of confidence as she trusted Mischka. She hoped that the second in command understood that.
