"Meet me at the edge of our island" Akela mocked once she was out of earshot. This wasn't meaning to be super insulting, he was just unpleased with the fact that he had just got out of the heat to cool down and he had to go back.

Akela took a few pawsteps away from the shade before unfurling his dragon-like wings and taking off from the ground. He'd circle above for a bit, looking for Ember. He spotted her though he just watched from the sky until she saw him too.

She squinted against the wind that stung her eyes. She could smell the sea now as the air turned salty and the waves crashed against the black sand. Tilting her wings downward she dove at the bank, flaring her wings at the last minute to land.

Sakura territory was closer than the uncharted islands, only about a 30 minute flight out. You could clearly see the green outline of tree tops across the channel.

Peril glaced at the sky behind her for a moment, checking to see if her comrade and daughter had arrived yet. Her Pup was going to get a little hunting lesson.

Since they were strong, they were able to take down larger prey like elk and moose, sometimes even bears or cougars.

She glanced down at her claws, the obsidian black sand sprinkled across her paw like little shards of glass, waiting for her company. She raised her head again, she had caught a glimpse of one of their elders. "Meteor!" She barked sharply.

Mosaic had only taken a small look at the mountains before trotting off again towards the same direction she was going before, making sure to sniff the air and leave her scent around to warn off enemy wolves if they got too close.

Ember/ Volcanic/ Pup/ m: Akela

Ember looked up to see Akela in the grey sky. She flew up to meet him. Her wings sending drifts of air outwards. Once she reached his height she slowly glided towards the island edge, all ready knowing where to go from spying. She could imagine his confusion when she seemed like she knew where to go. Which she did.

Akela narrowed his eyes, watching Ember. Well, that's certainly odd, he thought to himself. He stretched his wings out before snapping them to his side, diving and then gliding upwards to help him go faster. He followed Ember though he also knew where to go.

Hunter spreads his wings and starts flying towards his mate, Peril. He then desides not to, and flies back down to the forest. "I wish I could talk with people easier, without losing my temper." He says, talking to a tree.

Ember/ Volcanic/ Pup

Ember saw the edge of the island and folded her wings into a dive. The wind was sharp against her face. Near the last seconds she opened her wings and landed neatly. She walked over to an old grayish dead tree to wait.

Meteor's ear flicked at the sound of his name. Recognizing it as one of his alphas, he picked out her out from among the black sand. With a soft grunt, he angled his wings and dove downwards. Well there goes my plans for the day, he thought, letting himself slip into a near freefall, enjoying the cooling sensation of the wind against his face. Rapidly losing altitude, he snapped back to reality as the ground drew near, spreading his wings just enough to slow his fall. Landing with a heavy thud on the dark beach, he folded his wings back and out of the way. "What's up?" he asked.

She allowed, just for a moment, her gaze softened towards the elder male before returning to its permanent scowl. Peril always had a nack for traditional values, such as respecting your elders.
She tossed her head to signal inland towards the Sakura territory "Ember, Akela and myself are making a quick hunting trip, all I need from you is to restock the aloe plant supply. Remember, they're on the west side of the island."

Her ears flicked at the sound of wings and she caught a glimpse of her mate Hunter before she watched him dive away into the dead wood. She gave off one sharp click that snapped in her throat and echoed around her. Just as a quick reminder to him, that she was here.
With a huff the crimson creature outstretched her wing towards Ember "come daughter, you will see how we hunt" she paused, glancing over the water at the glimmering sun, now at its highest peak. "Normally our hunting parties would take place during nightfall... but we have an emergency shortage" she huffed pinning her ears.
With a flick of her tail she leapt with her wings spread to hover "Let's fly, once we get closer Akela I need you to be my lookout while I find us a more hidden area on Sakura."
