Abraham stayed sleeping but he moved his head to her lap. He was trusting her and he made sure not to use his paw for the time being. He began to wake up and he look at her with the look of thanks. He was calm as he was waiting to see if something was going to happen. He was only staying by her side since she was the only one who was helping him for now. Abraham put his nose on her arm and was waiting. |

Amber felt his change of position and looked down " Shh, now." she whispered as she petted his rough fur. She put her book aside and tried something she knew would ut him to sleep. It alwys did when her mother did it to her. She sang a gentle song to keep Abraham at ease and in peace. Since his paw was still hurting " Im not going anywhere, bud. The ranger said if either you or I needed something, I should text them. Everything will be just fine. Just stay with me." |

Abraham began to relax again and he felt safe. He look at her again and he carefully put his nose on her cheek. Abraham gave the look of 'I will stay by you. My Queen.' He was listening and he began to fall asleep. Abraham was still tried since he was still injured but soon he had to shift into his human form but he was going to wait. He woke up and gave her the look 'May I shift into my human form please?' He was waiting for her answer. |

" You want to shift, furball?" Amber asked with a chuckle " Of course you can. Go ahead. But no getting off the bed. Im the boss. So if you need anything, ask me and I'll grab it for you" She stroked his head before he shifted and laid her head on her pillow, eyes on the starry ceiling. |

Abraham shifted into his human form. He kiss her cheek and ask "Can I have a hug before I go to sleep?" He smiled at her and he laid down by her. He was staying by her side and he said "Thank you for helping me. I love you Amber." He felt peaceful as he gave her a hug and he began to close his eyes as he was relaxed. |

Amber gave a smile as she huged him. " I love you more, Abraham. You know that, right?" she asked as she scooted to one side of the bed so he could sleep " You better rest, now. Ill be right here" She kissed his head before he closed his eyes. She was wondering where he was going to take her out for the date. But he had to heal first. |

Abraham smiled and said "Once I healed, I will take you on our date. I know that you love me. You are the best." He look at her as he could not sleep. He kiss her and gave her a hug and stayed there. He wanted to sleep but he could not. He said "I am lucky to have you in my life Amber. You saved me more times than I can count." He was telling the truth and he look in her eyes. He kiss her cheek. |

" Awe darlin. Thank you" Amber said kissing him back gently " Now rest. Docs orders." she teased as she let him ut his head on her shoulder. She sat there with her book and hummed the song over and over again. Ill do everything in my power to keep him safe and get back to normal She thought as she looked over at his sleeping human form. She wrapped an arm around him so he knew she wouldnt leave him. |

Abraham began to fall asleep as he listened to her. He was lucky to have her and he knew that in the morning he would go and get her something to eat. He knew it was a risk since his hand was injured but he did not mind. He woke up in the morning and went to go get something to eat for them. He made sure to be quiet when he walk outside. He was in a different pair of shorts and a different t shirt. He got some fish and was waiting for her to wake up. |

Amber slept in the following morning, but she knew she would have to be at work that late after noon. What am I gonna do with my boyfriend though? She thought as she heard him come in " Oh Abraham.. you didnt have to get me food. And you know I told you not to go anywhere" She said sitting up " Ill let it pass this time though. Because I love you" |
