To be honest, at the moment I'm only around 14k but that's because due to classes and other things the way I normally get profit isn't one I've been able to use.
Most of my profit is with explore. You aren't going to get profit in explore if you don't explore often or have put effort into making your wolves good ones to explore with. You're only at territory level twelve, which means you've only opened up forest and swamp. A lot of my profit has come from jungle and tundra. On a day where I actually bother to focus on exploring, it's pretty easy to make 1,000+ mush. On a good day, easily 3,000+ (if you don't spend it all like I end up doing- or getting lazy). To make mush means effort, you aren't going to get it easily. You've got to learn to manage it by watching what you're spending and when and how you're going to get profit. The secretary bird will help you out a lot with that.
If you want better relics to sell, you'll also have to explore more. Other terrains will have better relics for you to sell. This is another thing that will take time.
Breeding is something that has a lot to do with chance. Some profit I make off of it, but exploring is my main. I'd recommend getting an explore team, whether having someone train your wolves for you or do it yourself. If you can at least get four wolves trained to death grip, explore can be a whole lot easier. Getting those wolves and getting them there is also a lot more time to be spent. It'll also be a lot of in and out with your mush. Though, it's worth it. Getting a good explore team means being able to take down bigger prey and predators = more mush. Different terrains = more mush. Trained wolves = more mush. People also will pay a lot for wolves that are trained to death grip. There's a lot you can do and my post would be way to big to finish, even if I stay to just talking about explore. I will say again, that it takes a lot of time and effort but you will get rewarded in the end for it if you want to put the time in.
