Zephyr
Zephyr loved birds. He found them to be very interesting little creatures and he'd always been fascinated by them, the different colours and sizes and the things they ate. However, he noticed Rhodia hesitated slightly. A tiny moment. Perhaps she was lying about liking birds too or maybe it was the random question that had burst out of nowhere. Either option seemed bad. If wolves really could die of embarrassment then his parents would already be planning his funeral. He wrapped his tail around his paws so he'd stop fidgeting. Zephyr had to set a good impression. He didn't want the other pack to think he was weak or nervous. Then he turned his attention to Rhodia's reply.
Honestly, Zephyr hated his pack. Perhaps not his pack but his role as the heir was a better answer. The rules, the expectations, it was all so suffocating. He couldn't just do what he wanted to. He wondered if that's how Rhodia felt too. He met her golden eyes as he replied.
"I like birds too," he confirmed with a nod. "Life in my pack is pretty average, I guess. At least what I think is average. I suppose you and your pack might do things a little differently?"

Azryn glared at Rialóir. "Of course my pack is under control," he said, hints of anger laced in his voice. "I would hope that you don't think we are incompetent despite our history. The real question is whether your pack will rebel or not."
Nyla looked from Rialóir to her mate before facing Rialóir and Aistear again. "Obviously there were some doubts to begin with but we've smoothed things over and reassured them. They can also see the benefits from this truce. And Azryn doesn't mean anything from that, he is just concerned about both our packs' safety, and our children too." Being the peacekeeper, Nyla tried to settle any disagreements between the two alphas. She did not want a fight to start right now especially after they had just confirmed the start of the truce.
