I've yet to draw an anthro character from scratch, but I'm done with my current commission and I'd like to try working out the details for my own fursona, a dall sheep.

If anyone has any tips, that'd be extremely helpful. She's my first ^^'

Ah, at the moment I'm hoping to find some good references to base her shape off of. I literally can't draw anything if I don't have an image or two to look at, even if it's just stick figures or a picture of my own cat, lol.

I'm also embarrassingly new to the community. Like, I've known I was interested for a couple years, but I haven't gotten to interact with it all that much so I'm still learning stuff.

Ah okay I see! I have a sheep-esc character I can link, I didn't do the artwork (yet) but I'd say it may help. I can also look at more pictures on the web for your reference.

That's okay don't worry, we've all been there at somepoint. ^^ I still learn stuff about the fandom to this day and I've been here forever. >.<

I'm alright for poses. I tend to either find a normal human base pose and adjust to my liking, or just sit my butt down in front of mirror and snap a pic, lol.
