I burned a flower bundle at a temple while exploring and it didn't do anything. What do they usually do? Does it matter what offering we give?

If the temple approves of the offering it'd give one of your wolves an attribute bonus for 20 moves.

I believe it won't always be a successful offering, nor does it matter what offering bundle you use; however I've not yet really used the temple offering explore feature so I'm not 100% sure on this, I'm just taking information from what the update had said about the temple offering feature when it was added.
