Jake stands at a height of 5 feet 9 inches with a nice build with fine muscles. He has light blue eyes and blond hair which is shorter on the sides, he doesn't have a mustache though so ignore that. The uniform he is wearing in the image is his usual uniform and his hair is usually in the same swept to the side look. When not on duty Jake can be found in casual clothes like a t-shirt and jeans along with some sneakers. He doesn't have any piercings, since his mother would probably kill him if he did, or any tattoos.

Personality: Jake is a kind and patient man when it comes to most things. Around the city he is seen as one of the more favorite cops for his kindness and understanding of others. He has a reassuring tone most of the time that shows his gentleness when he laughs. Jake is not one to jump to conclusions nor is he one to force others to take his side. He is a great leader when needed to be one and is like a therapist to some.

Back-story and some more info: Jake grew up in a decent household with his parents. He was an only child but got plenty of experiences of siblings from other family members. He got the inspiration to be a cop from his father who was also one before he had to retire from an accident. Jake worked his butt off in school to make sure he would get into a police academy. While in his Junior year he came out to his family and they fully accepted him. Once he graduated high school he moved to study at the police academy the next state over. He wouldn't say he was a nerd while being there but he did make sure that he had amazing grades. Once he graduated from there he moved back to his home town to be a cop. Although Jake now has his dream career he still is getting his life in order. He lives in an apartment which looks like a tornado went through it. Most of the time when people visit he has to shove everything away to make it look decent.

Jake walked into the station and says farewell to the cop he had just done patrol with. Before he could even go to his desk he was called to the chief's office. Of course he didn't want to keep the literal chief of police waiting, so he quickly went to his office. "Something wrong sir," he asks to older man at the desk. "We got another report of a burnt down church," the chief explains, "O'Connor is working on another case so I'm handing this one off to you." The chief hands Jake a file of papers and he nods, "Thank you sir." "You better do good Gatsby," the chief says, "this case has been getting on a lot of people's nerves." Jake nods once more before leaving the office and heading to his own desk to looking at the file.

It's been around a week or so since the first church got burned down. Now it was Skylar's turn. It was around 2 in the morning when he made his decision. He got dressed in all-black clothes, tucking his hair in his hoodie. He then packed a bag with everything he needed before leaving. Sky had to do the last church. He made his way over to the church getting there quickly, it was pretty close to where he lived. He stood in front of the church staring at it with hatred. He hated churches, especially the ones around his hometown. They all didn't support the LGBTQ community and his whole friend group has had enough. With enough drugs and convincing, they decided to do something about it.

He got out the gasoline and put it all around and on the church before lighting it with a match. He watched it as it was swallowed in flames, but only for a moment before leaving. He looked around as he ran through the woods nearby before turning around after making some distance. He stared at the burning ember. It was beautiful. He then made his way back to his house, discarding the evidence on the way.

As Jake worked at his desk he let out a tired yawn and looked around the station. A lot of the desks were empty since not a lot of officers worked the night shifts. Jake on the other hand worked day and night. Or whenever he could if he wasn't busy. He stood from his desk and headed into the break room to get a cup of coffee. As he was in there a call came over his radio asking for any officers to come to a church that had caught fire. Jake slightly rushed out of the break room and him and another officer answered the call and started to drive to the church. -Not very hard to find it,- Jake thinks as they drive, seeing the black cloud coming from the church along with the glow of flames. Once they got there multiple firetrucks were there as well as a few civilians. Jake and the other officer worked on keeping the crowd back and blocking off the area. "This is the second one this month," the other officer says to him as they watch the raging inferno. "Yeah," Jake says and his gaze goes towards the firetrucks as the firefighters work on trying to extinguish the flames.

Sky arrived at his house, making his way to his room quietly. He looked out his window, he was able to see the church from his room. He watched as he saw fire trucks and police cars show up. "Well, that was quick." He said to himself quietly, his heart speeding up a bit. He watched as the firefighters started to try and kill the fire. Most of the church had already burned down by the time they got there since it was made out of mostly wood. He stepped away from the window, taking off the black clothes and putting them far away in his dresser. He then hopped in his bed and texted the group chat.

He watched as his friends started typing. He sighed putting down his phone as he began to think. Really now what. That was the last church now I guess its just time to wait till one of us gets caught. Skylar hoped he wasn't going to be the one to get caught, he thought he did pretty good and was slick. He then picked up his phone again to a boring text.
