Understanding Skylark's predicament, Juniper spoke with a reassuring tone. "Skylark, doubts are normal, especially when feelings are involved."

She moved closer to Skylark, her expression empathetic. "If Ull expressed his feelings for you before, chances are he meant it sincerely. But if you're unsure, it might be worth having a direct conversation with him. Clear communication can bring clarity to any situation."

Juniper glanced at Misty, who nodded in agreement.

"We're here for you, Skylark," Juniper added, her tone warm and supportive. "Whatever you decide, we've got your back, and if you need help talking to Ull, we're more than willing to assist."

She felt tears in her eyes as Juniper talked. She was so nice! She relaxed, laying down on the floor and allowing her wing like feathers to droop and touch the floor. She sighed. "That means a lot. Thank you so much." She sighed, closing her eyes briefly and trying to calm down.

"Go lay with Juniper. You can warm her up and dry her off." She could tell Skylark had been trying to calm herself down but was failing. "Would you like something to help calm down"

"Okay," she said, nodding gratefully. "And yes please." She lay next to Juniper, and put her head on her paws, blinking sleepily in the warm, sweet smelling den.

Juniper smiled softly at Skylark's gratitude, her heart warming at the tracker's vulnerability. She nodded in understanding as Misty suggested Skylark lay with her for comfort.

"Of course, Skylark," Juniper replied warmly, shifting slightly to make room for her friend. She welcomed Skylark beside her, feeling a sense of peace in their shared warmth.

Misty dug some seeds out from the back of the herb storage and gave some to Skylark. "Here, these should help."

"Thanks Misty," she yipped gently, lapping up the seeds. She relaxed, leaning gently against Juniper. "So, how are you two? I haven't actually talked to anyone much the past few days." She nibbled a claw guiltily.

"We're doing alright," Juniper replied, her tone warm as she leaned into Skylark's side. "Just busy with the usual healer duties and gathering herbs."

She hesitated for a moment before continuing, feeling a faint blush creep into her cheeks. "Oh, and speaking of, I had a rather unexpected encounter with Ember today." Juniper glanced away, feeling a mixture of excitement and embarrassment at the memory.

"She found me near the Rose Colony border," Juniper explained, her voice slightly faltering. "I, uh, fell into the river while trying to gather herbs." Juniper chuckled softly, trying to brush off the embarrassment. "She helped me out and even sent some herbs as a peace offering... It was... unexpected." Juniper couldn't quite shake the flustered feeling that came with thinking about Ember, her heart fluttering slightly at the memory.

"Oh, so that's why you're wet!" Skylark exclaimed. She licked Juniper's face, cleaning off some water. She wondered why Juniper was talking about Ember. That fox was annoying! She wagged her tail, deciding not to pursue the subject any further.

"Yeah. Thats why you are soaking wet and freezing." Misty sounded anoyed, but meant it playfully.
