Windlock managed to convince Waterline help him train a bit. Not much, but enough to help him not die as fast. The water mage wasn't the strongest but he was stronger than Windlock, though one thing about Waterline was the fact he wasn't as much of a hardheaded mule like the two older brothers. He could be pretty agreeable at times and he was usually calmer and more serious than most. Windlock wanted to be trained by someone who was more reasonable, and Waterline was all he had.

The plan was to start practicing in the morning, after Soulfire fought his turn in the arena. Waterline wanted him to practice more on dodging and offense attacks, since he was more of a defensive player. Windlock wanted to practice by himself but the sky through the metal windows of the medical center thought otherwise. Darkened blue with the color orange melted unto the sky, declaring night was almost upon them.

"We should head back to our rooms, we need to rest," Soulfire claimed and headed to his room, while the three other brothers followed closely behind.

A loud clang startled Inferno from her sleep, and as she jerked her head up, her crimson eyes met those of her handler. “Get ready. There’s a fire mage fighting right now, but we’ll wait in the tunnels until they’re finished. And then, you’re going to make me a lot of money in this fight. Oh, and, the Kitsune doesn’t have a sponsor. So feel free to go all out.”

Inferno growled as he unlocked her cage, swung the door open, and wrapped his hands around the chains connected to her body. Axel yanked her out of her ‘home’, pulling her towards the arena where she could already hear the cheering and yells of the crowd.

“With what happened last time, many people who remembered the fight with that snow lady or whatever she was, bet against you. They don’t think you can win. But, we’ll so them, won’t we?” Axel’s face twisted into a sickening sneer. “If I have to pull you out in a sponsor, it’s not going to look pretty for you. So win this fight.”

"Fight!"
The crowd hung over the balcony shouting at the top of their tiny lungs, as Soulfire sat levitating in the air by a crazed psychic. The psychic's dark curly hair sat menacingly on her face, with the tips a little singed by the fire mage's previous attack. She was burned, eyebrows toasted away and part of her robe was on fire, but the fire wasn't hot enough to compare to her raging anger. Never has Windlock ever seen Soulfire in such a tricky situation, the odds of him winning were getting slimmer by the minute.

The three brothers stood at the gate watching their oldest's possible demise. "We might have to pull him out," breathed Waterline, he started blankly at the fight, making it hard to tell what he was feeling. "We need to pull him," Waterline turned to Windlock and Golemer like they didn't hear him the first time. The psychic seemed to be trying to squeeze him to death, and Soulfire burned a bright red as he tried to use his fire on her once again.

It was odd. Soulfire glowed brighter and brighter by the second, but still the brother's had not yet pulled him. The psychic seemed to struggle a bit, like she had some major headache. She grabbed her head and fell to the ground screaming a bit before she suddenly fell unconscious, which broke the psychic barrier. The stored energy radiated off of the fire mage causing an explosion, which left the psychic as a pile of ash.
"Good thing she didn't have a sponsor," Golemer grinned happily breaking the silence of the group.

Inferno narrowed her eyes at the flash of light, glowering. She really didn’t want to fight, but Axel kicked her hind legs with his boot, pushing her forward. “And for our next fight, bring back our regular Champion, Inferno the Hellhound! And fighting against her, Blizzard the Ice Kitsune! Two elements that should never mix, facing off for the glory, guts, and gold of the arena!”

Growling, Inferno paced into the fighting rink, taking note of the sleek while-silver shape slinking around the other side of the arena. The Kitsunes ice blue eyes narrowed menacingly, and she dipped her head towards the ground, touching the tip of her nose to the ground.

Immediately, Inferno leaped upward, avoiding the wave of ice that covered the ground. Inferno landed but lost her grip on the ice for a few moments, scrambling to get a hold on the ice. This allowed Blizzard to force large icicles from the ground underneath the Hellhound, who rolled.

A sharp, augishing pain tore through her left hind leg, causing Inferno to slide on the ice, black blood leaking out onto the cold surface, her jaws clenched together to not make a sound of pain. That would mean that that ice bastard already won. She thought, forcing herself to her paws, throwing herself to the side to avoid another attack.

She needed to melt the ice, but to do that she needed to get warmth. Calling the shadows to her, she created a platform that was raised up from the ground, allowing Inferno to unleash a wave of flames and causing the ground to be drenched in water. Panicking slightly as the Kitsune froze the ground again, using the melted water to her advantage, Inferno dodged another attack, thinking rapidly.

I need to get close to her and stop her from using her ice abilities. She thought, lunging forward. She tackled the fox, paws burning hot. The vixen screamed as steam rose from where their bodies met and went to throw the larger opponant off, but Inferno didn’t give her the chance. The Hellhound was quick to pin the ice creature down, dipping her head to meet the eyes of the doomed supernatural. “This is the end for you.” She snarled, digging her claws deep into the fur and flesh. Blizzard was wrapped in pure hellfire, and when Inferno stepped off of her opponent, all that was left was a couple gorges in the ground and a large scorch mark.

She padded from the arena, back into the tunnels, with her head held high, but as soon as she was out of sight, she collapsed, the wound in her leg already had turned black, sending shivers raking up and down her body.

{Lol, sorry for the long reply XD. I tend to get overly detailed in fighting scenes :D}

Amazingly Soulfire was practically unscathed, and let's not talk about the pile of ash that was swept off the arena floor. The cheers were quite epic, the crowd announced their entertainment which echoed through the arena. Heck even some flowers were thrown, they were plastic but it was better than nothing. Soulfire stood grinning at the crowd and unsurprisingly the man started flexing.
The staff opened the gates letting the brothers in the arena with the fire mage. Soulfire dragged them into a group hug, snagging Windlock by his sore shoulders. Golemer though increased the intensity of the hug, he started squeezing them like a bunch of juicy grapes. The Elementals cheered and raced out of the arena, leaving the noise of the crowd behind them.

Even though Soulfire was fine, Waterline still felt like he still needed a check up. Therefore the training session Windlock was promised was indeed delayed, which caused him to resort to watching the next match. Scrambling of claws against some sort of frictionless material came from the arena below. Windlock looked down from the balcony, where ice layed frozen on the floor of the arena. Inferno versus an ice kitsune, definitely a fight to remember.

"Who do you think will win?" Windlock asked Golemer, "the kitsune seems to be on the upper hand." But Windlock quickly changed his mind when the kitsune screams echoed across the arena. "I take it back," Windlock claimed watching the triumphant hellhound.

(lol I can tell)

Axel looked down at the shivering form of his champion and sneered. “Guess you did win. I was worried I’d have to pull you out again, like what happened against that snow woman. You won me a lot of coin, mutt. For that, you can have a couple days worth of rest.”

He roughly grabbed Inferno by her scruff and dragged her to the kennels, tossing her into hers like a rag doll. Inferno yipped as she landed on her frozen leg, biting her tongue to keep from crying out in anguish. Axel tossed in bandages and a salve that would prevent infection from setting in, though Inferno doubted it would. Her wound, and the skin around it, was frozen, not leaving any room for an infection.

Whimpering as she shifted, Inferno looked down at her leg to see the full force of the damage. Her skin was milky whitish gray, the wound itself blackened with ice crystals. It hurt whenever something came into contact with it, so as Inferno shakily grabbed the bandages and salves and begun to wrap it, she stopped halfway through, squeezing her eyes shut as her leg sent shockwaves of pain through her entire body.

The crowd died down when a slower less epic battle took place in the arena, probably signing that it was time to go find the others. Windlock nudged Golemer gesturing he was going back, and Golemer decided to follow behind him. The big brute grunted the whole way down the stairs to get to the lower level. They once again entered the eerie hallway and found themselves back into the infirmary.

"Hey, you done yet?" The wind mage leaned over Waterline's shoulder examining Soulfire. Without looking up Wateline replied, "Almost, after this I can help you," he tapped his chin, "let's just practice down here where nobody is watching."

Windlick nodded, "I'm going to hang out in the hall while you tend to Soulfire's desperate needs." He smiled jokingly and left the room, making his way back to the crimson eyed girl.

Inferno gritted her teeth and pushed through the pain, wrapping the rest of the bandages around her wound. Panting, she lit up her hands and pressed it to the bandage, trying to warm up the skin but to no avail. “Damn…” she muttered, leaning her head back. It would probably take a couple of days for her leg to thaw, but time was something Inferno never had. As soon as she could stand on her injury, she would be thrown back out into the arena to fight again.

Her head perked up at the sound of light footsteps, eyes flashing toward the front of her cage. The heather and wind scent reached her before she saw the boy from a couple days before.

Why’s he back here again? She wondered, creeping forward slightly. The boy interested her. A kind soul surrounded by bloodlust and hostility.

"Hello... again," Windlock said with a very smiley face, and he sat down at the edge of her iron cell, that made a barrier between the two. "I just thought I would stop by and-" he stopped looking at the, in his opinion, slightly badly wrapped bandage around her leg. Her skin around it was a pearly grey, looking like some undead's flesh. "What happened?" He looked up at her staring in her eyes, his voice was quiet and a little stern, "Are you ok?"

It looked like some sort of frostbite, but worse, like it had spread like a nasty infection. Though the girl seemed to be in pain, it was sort of a good sign. Which meant that her leg wasn't a lost cause and it still had time to recover, that is... if it was taken care of in time.

She looked away, fiddling with the bandage, still slightly unsettled with the concern that was practically emmiting out of th boy. “I’m fine.” She mumbled, loud enough for him to hear. “The Ice Kitsune managed to snare my leg on one of her ice shards when I was unblananced and distracted. It’s my fault, and it’ll teach me to pay more attention and react quicker next time.”

She shifted her weight, trying to ease the frozen wound from the pressure that felt like it was burrowing under it. “I just need to get it to thaw or warm up so I can actually focus my energy to healing the wound itself.” She said. “I hate ice creatures.” She muttered. “Wounds from them take so much more time to heal than others do.”

She cast him a quick look through narrowed eyes. “Why are you even here?” Her voice grew cold, distant. “Don’t you have three brothers you should be around? Why bother wasting your time with me? You don't even know me, so why do you care?"
