The battling specialisation increases the battle move the wolf is on. But shouldn't change the damage of a death grip wolf?

Well, perhaps it was my mistake. I'll tell you if it happens again. For now, I am content to re-train my wolves. One's already back up to Death Grip anyways, and one is almost there. Thanks for your help!
