That's a good point. I guess it would be nice if the first few generic pelts were free (like black, white...ones that the rarity stays at 0).

You're welcome.
It would definitely be nice if you could somehow not select a base coat in the situations where you were planning on using a dye; but I don't see how that could happen without there being people who would say they would use a dye, and not use one so they could get a cheaper custom.

Yeah, I get that. But the custom wolf maker strips everything and starts from scratch. You might check though if the dye you plan on using is already one of the options for pelt colors when making the wolf. If so, you won't need the dye. ;-)

can't have markings floating on an invisible wolf. lol. There always needs to be a base color. When you use the customizer you customize everything. =)

So how do you change the overall background color to an image, and how big does this image have to be? I have a specific idea but i'm unsure if it will work

do you mean background color of an imported image? like a file? or like the background color of the game(replacing the trees)

and the size is standard, when you put in the color code it covers the whole thing. If you go to my den, you see its all blue. There is a code to literally cover all trees, but I forgot it sorry :(
