Dapple/ F/ Adult/ M : open Dapple picked up her prey and began to find a place to eat it where it wouldn't get stolen. The rain started to stop and she shook out her soaking fur. Soon she decided to rest under a holly bush where she could eat her mouse. She crawled under the bush and ate the mouse in a few bites. It wasn't as good as other mice she had caught. Not exactly good even. The small size didn't even fill the hunger in her belly. It was a rather disappointing kill. Dapple sighed and walked out of the holly bush, stretching her legs out as she did. There happened to be a fence behind the bush and the long limbed cat leaped up on to it. She walked the length of the fence to a tree with a branch hanging over the fence. She hopped up and climbed as high up as she could. The tree was plenty tall and the leaves let the sun shine threw making her brown fur shimmer. she rested on a branch, her head on her paws and her tail hanging off of the branch.

Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult Tony glanced to his side at Spire. He gave a sigh. For some odd reason, he had only known this cat for a couple of hours, yet he had grown to trust him more than he had trusted most felines in his entire life. He felt comfort with Spire. After a few moments of silence, he let his gaze go to his newfound friend's. "...My past," he said with a sort of false chuckle. Tony often had trouble dealing with his own issues without turning it into humour, even when it wasn't very funny. He had grown so used to putting on a pleasing act for others that he had forgotten what it was like to be openly upset. "When I was a kitten..." Tony began, voice trembling a bit, "I had a family of humans. They weren't very nice. They hurt me and my mother often - so I kind of grew to distrust them. My mother escaped with me one night, and for a while the two of us learned to survive in the streets.." Tony again shivered, eyes stinging with tears. "And then, one night, we were crossing a road.. a car wasn't looking, and..." He stopped himself. Or rather, he couldn't physically handle going on. His stomach tightened and felt weak. Tony gave a sigh, trying to regain composure. "Anyway, for most of my life I've been on my own. You'll have to excuse me if I do something wrong, I've never really had many friends."

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult Spire listened to Tony's story patiently, his gaze full of sorrow. He couldn't believe what this cat had been through. "I'm so incredibly sorry" he murmured. "Thank you fo telling me" he gave a short smile, it must have took a lot for Tony to open up to him like that. A wave of gratitude washed over Spire, he was lucky Tony felt safe enough around him to tell him this information. "That must have been hard" Spire mewed, locking eyes with Tony and smiling. "And don't worry about doing anything wrong, you deserve to have a good friend and I'll make sure that I am."

Dapple / F/ Adult/ M: Okra, Open Dapple allowed herself a few minutes of rest before she got up to hunt again. Laying around wasn't going to feed herself or Okra after all. She sniffed the air. And listen carefully. There was the ever present sound of songbird. Perhaps there was one close enough to hunt? After a quick sniff and look around she could detect one.
She climbed slowly back down the tree. She might find a mouse somewhere or not. There might be a rabbit in the gardens the humans grew. Settled with that idea Dapple briskly walked to the nearest fenced in land that humans called a "yard" climbing and jumping over the fences was no problem. Finding prey however was proving difficult. She must have used up a lot of luck finding the rather disappointing mouse.
Yard after yard Dapple found nothing until she found some thing. A young rabbit. Not quite an adult. Not quite a kit. It's back was to her. Dapple knew she had to be careful. Rabbits has excellent hearing.
Slowly, carefully Dapple stalked the rabbit. Making sure her steps where soft. Finally she was close but not close enough. But any closer and the chance of the rabbit noticing her was very high. Now or never she though. She leaped. The rabbit heard her and bolted away. Dapple just managed to grab it. Another millimeter away and it might have escaped.

Tony ◇ Male ◇ He/Him ◇ Adult Tony almost couldn't believe his ears. After all this time, had he finally found a good friend? Again, his eyes began to sting - this time not for sadness, but a warmth grew in his heart. He had never really trusted anyone else, yet he just poured his story out to this feline. A gust of wind blew, ruffling Tony's fur as he gazed at Spire. "..Thank you," he murmered, almost forgetting how to speak. Tony began to purr, stunned by the kindness of this tom-cat he had only known for less than a day. He sure would enjoy growing closer with Spire, as he had the feeling that they wouldn't part anytime soon. Though, in the back of his mind, of course the dark hisses of doubt came - Spire's going to leave you. Don't trust him, Tony, don't be vulnerable. However, he tried his best to ignore these voices. Instead, He rubbed against Spire, grateful for the new friend he had made.

Holly | F | Junior - Holly walked through the alleyways, not quite sure what she was searching for. She sniffed the air, and the scent of other cats was surprising. So far, Holly hadn't met many other strays. "Hello?" Holly whispered. "Is anyone there?" The young cat waited for a few moments, ready to run if they weren't...friendly. Holly moved to the side of the wall and climbed onto the top of a bin lid, so she could see what was happening below.

Spire • Male • He/Him • Adult Spire leaned into Tony with a smile. "Of course! No one deserves going through that" Spire sat for a moment with Tony, clicking his claws on the roof, then out of nowhere, he picked up on a strange scent. Cat. He immediately pin pointed the scent because he had met Rock and Tony today, the scent was almost embedded in his head. "What's that" he raised his tail, flicking it in the direction of a figure crouched in the distance. "Smells like cat, the rain must have drawn many of us here for food..."
