Alaska began to pace along the enclosure's wire fence. Examining it with her good eye, she checked every link for possible weakness. When she found no weak link, she began gnawing at the fence. It hurt her teeth, but she kept trying. Eventually, it hurt her teeth enough to make her stop. She looked at the damage she had done. To her disappointment, the chain-link only had some gnaw marks, but not enough weakness to break through. She sighed and began to think of other possibilities. The thought of digging entered her head. She was a pretty good digger, and she had dug her own den at one point, so she gave it a shot. She picked a shallow part of the ground and began pawing at it. Pawing changed to clawing and clawing changed to digging. She was throwing dirt everywhere, digging the hole wider and deeper, but all her paws encountered were chain-link deep in the ground. She growled in frustration as she kept pushing the earth away, desperate to find the end of the fencing. Eventually, her black coat was covered in dirt and filth, and her white paws were now brown, and her nostrils were filled with dust. She collapsed next to her hole, exhausted and defeated.

Noctem|5|Male| Interactions: Open The last several hours had been a blur of pain, confusion, and claustrophobia. Bright lights and strange sounds did little to help Noctem's splitting headache. He had no idea how he had gotten here; all he knew was that he had been in his home, and then he was asleep, and when he woke up, he was here. Nothing was familiar, from the bars trapping him to the the strange creatures that walked upright. Noctem spent a long time trying to escape. He gnawed on the bars until his gums bled, he tried ramming the cage, but the bars were too strong. He began pacing the cage, acutely aware of sharp pangs in his stomach. He had no idea how long it had been since he had last eaten. After an indeterminate amount of time, Noctem was suddenly moving. He crouched, trying to keep his balance as he was relocated. Suddenly, the harsh white light and constricting walls were replaced by sunlight and a wide open space. With a metallic creak, the cage door was opened. Noctem was hesitant, but he stepped out of the cage and into the grass. What the... where am I? he thought, looking around. There were many other wolves here, none of whom he recognized. Dazed, Noctem began walking slowly. Why was he suddenly free? Looking around, he realized he wasn't. Although there was sunlight and fresh air, he could make out some kind of barrier preventing any of the wolves from wandering too far. "What is this place?" he asked out loud, wincing as the words sent an arc of pain through his head. Edited at January 24, 2022 05:58 PM by Eternal Calamity

Red-Star | M | 3 | Warrior/Hunter As Red-Star waited patiently for humans to come, his sister was looking for ways to escape. Red-Star was only thinking about food. He was starving. He watched the entrance for a while longing for it to open. Then, the doors opened. Humans came out. Not carrying food, but another wolf. The wolf was a male and he seemed confused. Red-Star sniffed the air, hoping to get a smell of the wolf. He did but the scent that the wolf once had was covered by the scent of the caged room. Without thinking, Red-Star got up and trotted over to the wolf. "Hello! I'm Red-Star." Red-Star then, waited for an answer.

She decided on sitting far away away from the building, but still in the clearing. She sat not far from a group of wolves and ignored them Edited at January 24, 2022 07:23 PM by Nightwalkers

MoonBeam | F | 8m | Pup Waking up for the 2nd time and no one was there for MoonBeam. No humans. No Wolves. No wolves except the she-wolf next to her. She has stayed motionless. The tag on her ear says "Experiment 206". "I feel bad for her. She just wants to be out of here. It's better out there in the enclosure than in here." MoonBeam tells herself. She stays, waiting in the corner of her cage. Edited at January 24, 2022 11:38 PM by The Canis Lupus
