He agreed that this cave not suitable due to the space and potential dangers that will come with it. His claw started playing the dirt under him as he kept himself busy so he would not drift off from her speaking. With her response if the position and she nodded of her wishes. "Very well.." Dusk was slowly nearing. Merlin rose to his paws and pointed to the sky. He barked "We best be going.." |

Time skip: Dusk is here as the sun has begun to set behind the rocky terrain. All the wolfdogs will be at the shelter beginning to report their findings. (They will all be at the shelter, no one is by themselves) As soon they are done, they will choose to stay in the field dens for the night, but will go to the redwoods dens in at first light. Though a tension and chaos will happen between two packmates before the night is over. The temperature will drop to 60 degrees during the night. A light rain will begin. The moon is gone and out of sight. Their first night is in darkness and rain. |

Merlin | Aloha | Male | M: Everyone Merlin was the last to arrive. Though he was on time, but he was just delayed from the advice of Echo. He didn't mind and he needed it. He brushed through the others eagerly waiting for him. He looked at the others subtly checking for any signs of any injuries or any out of the normal. He looked at everyone and cleared out his throat. "Well, I hope you had a taste of adventure. But on a serious note. Echo,Night, and I went to the mountains.. It did have a cave, but it is not very suitable for all of us due to its size. Also it's near a side of mountain. With the potential of dangers there... It won't be suitable for living. Although the prey there is plentiful and a good hunting ground... I also want everyone know about a valley. We didn't go see it fully. But I will send some of you to go check it out.." He lashed his tail and dipping his head as he ended his findings. He looked at anyone else. He barked "Anyone wanna go first of what they found?" (If one in the group says it. No one else needs to repeat I. Example Anubis tells the findings. Lidiya and Deverick won't say anything. If your character doesn't say anything just let them making remarks and all that or whatever floats your boat) |

Echo/Subordinate/Female/Mentions: everyone Echo couldn't wait until she learned what the others found. Her ears perked with hope and she was eager to move. While the place that she along with Merlin and Night found was good but it wasn't that good. Her thoughts were driving her crazy. She started to pace as she tried to calm her mind. Her eyes looked from Recon to Sable to Anubis to even Merlin. The leaders of the groups. Adviser was another thought that kept flickering despite trying to push it away. That was a surprise and a learning experience. Her concern was the reactions of the pack. She was waiting for a sort of chaotic destruction to happen within the pack. Food, water, shelter and dens is what was needed. Pushing her thoughts aside she focused back on everyone. |

Sable/female/subordinate/m: everyone Sable took a step forward, bowing her head slightly in respect as she reported their findings. “We found some promising things out there,” she began, briefly glancing back at her group. “First, we followed the river for quite a distance. It eventually leads to a gorge with a small waterfall—it’s a steep drop, but there’s a path we could take to explore it further.” She took a deep breath before continuing. “While we were exploring, we also came across a few smaller things. Not far from here, in the open field, we found some burrows. They’re vacant now, but they could work as temporary shelters if we need them in a pinch. If we want to use them more permanently, though, we’d need to dig them out a bit.” Sable looked up at Merlin, trying to gauge his reaction. Had they done a good job? |

Star/Female/subordinate/M: Merlin & Sable (directly), all (ind) She shifted on her paws, yawning quietly but trying to hide it. She really wanted to curl up and go to sleep and the rain wasn’t helping. She had always loved the sound of the rain and after a minute’s debating she wove through the rest of her pack and went outside. She could still pick up on Merlin and Sable talking and the rest of the pack being….. well, the rest of the pack. She sighed softly, tilting her head back and zoning out while she listened to the rain, soaked but somehow content. Her pack was safe for the moment at least and the rain was soothing to her chaotic thoughts. |

Nightingale - Female - Subordinate - M: Everywolf Nightingale is curled up. Temperature is slowly dipping and she wishes she has Jeraboa's thick coat. Night, Timber, and Boa sit together listening to Merlin. Jeraboa - Male - Low ranked subordinate - M: Everywolf Jeraboa's pelt is fluffy. It traps heat in so well, it is warm. Boa dreads what will happen if they have a hot period. He lays around Timber, trying to stay still in the slight breeze. |

Echo/Subordinate/Female/Mentions: everyone Her eyes looked over everyone in the pack and saw Night, Timber and Jeroboa together while Star looked tired and while she wasn't sure but Sable appeared to be nervous in reporting. Echo hopes that Night got to eat before joining another group earlier. Echo's fur blew in the breeze as while it was fluffy but she thought maybe not as bad as anyone with very fluffy fur. She avoided going to anyone to warm up and instead paced to keep warm. The cold and rain she was fine with but any heat then she might just go into some water after making sure it was safe. |

Doji | Subordinate | Female | M: Merlin Her eyes drifted to Recon as she waited tor him to speak to up. But she didn't know if he wanted to speak or since he was beta that he would speak for the group. Her eyes drifted to Sable as she spoke about the river and field. She could barely hear more then ever with the rain being light but enough to drown out the voices. Her left ear was already deaf and now her right ear was picking up on too much noise, she just had to guess what they were saying between the rain. When Sable finished she looked around at Anubis group to see if they would like go first. But she wanted to get this done, so she can hear again and dry off. She wasn't exactly cold, but enough that it made more irritated. She barked loudly to due to her not hear herself “The redwoods we all found a viable shelter that could fit all of us. It has the right environment to expand more dens if needed. The prey is most small critters with a couple of low threat predators like foxes. There is a lake I believe as I heard water…” She dipped her head as she was finished speaking. Her eyes glanced over to Recon. Then she looked away quickly before anyone could notice. |

Anubis | Male | Subordinate | M: Everyone/Merlin The dark colored male pushed through the crowd listening to everyone's findings. His icy glare watched Doji's glances. What in the world was that. Was she looking at Recin for confirmation? Or was she looking at him hoping for acceptance? It was off putting out of character from the emotionless female. Then his mind clicked and smirked from what he had thought. The perfect play back to Doji. After Doji had finished the findings, Anubis stepped forward. He barked "The rocky terrain is good for lounging around. Okay prey but not very plentiful. The rock formations can have dens and are elevated. I think they would be good any excessive rainfall or flooding. But other than that, maybe a tracing ground for the mean time.." Anubis stepped back. Merlin | Alpha | Male | M:Everyone The rain wa beginning to fall harder. He barked "Sable or whoever in the group lead us to the field dens. We will be there tonight temporarily." He looked around at the others. He added "Everyone will be together. No adventuring at night. We will find a camp in the redwoods tomorrow. I think we are all tired from this journey of us. It's gonna be a long few days.." |
