Have you eaten anything extremely hot (which would burn your mouth and the dead skin would fall off eventually), or sharp (like a potato/tortilla chip and it cut your gum and, again, dead skin fell off) or acidic (like sour candies that are literally acid and melt the inside of your mouth if you eat too much and, yet again, dead skin fell off)
