I just went to a NewYears celebration fair and one foodtruck's "main dishe" was bacon wrapped fried chicken sandwich on donut buns with a chocolate sauce to dip it in dude. No joke. People fed it to their kids...

The only sugary part really is the icing unless you get certain types of fillings and I wouldn't call it dense but it can be dry if its not made right, can be kind of like from scratch cinnamon rolls
