Is this a specific habitat (swamp, flooding desert?) or just somewhere made up?

It is more of a flooding desert although it is nothing too specific since background is there to aid in explaining charcater's emotions and tension of situation :3 I do not know much about shaping water, but other artists from site helped me finish it up with some important details.
