Wanna know something hilarious?

I've been thinking about Garvin's gender a ton recently and while I probably won't change him at all- Garvin being trans would be hilarious no matter which way he's going.

Like, if he was FtM, that'd be for sure crazy because... Pretty much nothing changes. He's been malnutritioned basically his entire life, which means... Pretty much nothing changes. Starvation would have saved him from pretty much everything that would've suddenly been possible as AFAB. Does mean he wouldn't even realize top surgery would eventually be needed because he just got used to being flat due to starving and all. But, you know.

And then MtF would be hilarious because nothing would change at all until the talk about his name- And then there would be a whole other can of worms that come with it. Internalized transphobia? Internalized transphobia. Mhm. Just towatds himself, obviously, as per everything else. Because of course our orphan takes every chance to be mean towards himself. Garvin would so be like 'Ah, I wanna be a girl? Wow, getting fucked in alleys really must've twisted my dumbass brain'

After Silence, before the first time Garvin dyes his hair. Not sure about anything else though.

It'd also be the first time the polycule sees him really sick.

For reference, whoever wakes up gets to also see that the trench coat and Garvin's boots are not in the room. Or the pack of cigarettes and lighter that Garvin keeps on the nightstand.

My guy woke up sick and decided that smoking would help. He also woke up completely out of it. There's a lot going on, oops.

Bode's obviously got their appearance, but overall that ability is hereditary and called 'Goetian'. Along with that, Bode's also got an ability that lets him summon weapons, basically. There's another part to it, but uh, I'm not gonna share that one yet.

Also- I'm pretty sure Garvin's either dyslexic or dysgraphic or both, even when he learns how to read and write and whatnot, he's going to suck at both. So. Yeah.

Context: Just some background on Bode! Because my brain wants to obsess over them for a little bit, apparently. They’re one part of a set of triplets. Aclehar/Bode is the eldest, Sicleramma/Shade is after them, and then Romaric/Star is the youngest. Anyways, uh, their family was… Odd. The three of them ended up in foster care, split up between families nearby, all ran away, ended up going to juvie, and then put into different orphanages. So. Lots going on. Anyways, this is moreso over the family before they all ended up in foster care. Again, this is kind of done in the style of incorrect quotes.

Star, too bad children do be rather, uh, easy to mold most of the time; “Oh, but it's so good, it tastes so sweet— How dare you deprive me!”

Shade, had less problems than Bode or Star at starting cannibalism but also just about the only one really trying to still have a bond with Bode; “Would you like to eat with me? A dinner as a family, where we take care of each other's needs?”

Bode, who had the most problems with cannibalism, would rather starve than cannibalism, in response to Shade; “Yeah, that's not happening…”

Scry, who also tried at first to have a bond with Bode, who was generally considered the problem child for not wanting to commit cannibalism, kind of warning Bode on what might happen should they continue not to do cannibalism; “But we'll feed you your own hands and feet. Don't worry, it's my treat.”

Pyre, out of the parents, she’s definitely the more sadistic and uncaring about cannibalism; “Though I've had my feast, you're not released 'cause I'd like seconds, please!”

Bode, just sort of playing with his ‘food’, commenting on how the family basically is throwing people’s lives away; “There, another one’s in the trash…”

Scry, commenting on Bode; “Your despair, I wonder how long it's gonna last…”

Bode, because children still be very impressionable and while they won’t do cannibalism because ew to the texture mostly, he is still quite impressioned to think he’s the wrong one; “I think there's something wrong with me… Why can't I just live happily?”

Star, despite his original disdain for cannibalism, he becomes quite the fan of it; “The thought of giving up your meat’s impossible as sleep, and I swear every time I breathe in, I stare in disbelief, and I can't go without the feeling of your flesh upon my teeth…”

Bode, oops Scry’s warning was more serious than we thought, Bode still refusing to commit cannibalism though; “I can't retreat, no, I can't even breathe without feeling hungry…”

Bode, again though, this kid still is certain that it’s something wrong with him and not his family; “Why do you still believe in me?”

Shade, oops we are actually to where the three siblings end up running from their respective foster homes to try and just survive together instead, as expected Shade and Star are still cannibals; “And I'm baffled why you choose to stay with me. You're completely free, yet you refuse to leave.”

Shade, she really is just confused by Bode; “In the face of anger, you say–”

Bode; "Patience before pride."

Star, again this kid became a total menace; “While you're feeling dead inside, I'm so alive… And it's all thanks to you that I survived. Guess I'll say thank you for lending me your life!”

Well, panic initially, then the immediately try and check that Garvin is, well, alive because that's terrifying as fuck. Then, if Garvin's conscious, try and help direct him into a sitting position at least, standing with support if he can manage, and then call for the others as calmly as he can manage after nearly having a heart attack, lmao. If Garvin can stand with help then Ingall would do what he could to get him to the couch or somewhere to sit/lay down. If Garvin's unconscious, he'd probably try to get him into the recovery position at least so he doesn't choke.

He'd also do whatever to make sure he doesn't leave his side before someone else is there to help, which might mean actually calling someone (probably Revan) if a slightly raised voice (only slightly as not to startle/hurt Garvin more) doesn't work from where he is.

I haven't decided on Leiani's power yet, and I haven't decided on a name for Faust's, but his is basically a slightly different version of what a vampire would have.

Faster registration time, ability to move at a quicker speed, shifting into a bat/has bat wings, can see fine in the dark, keener since of smell and hearing. He's also sensitive to light, but it's allergic/doesn't get burned like an actual vampire would, and he doesn't drink blood, but his power does include the ability to tell people's blood types.
