RIGHT. To answer Vah on page 65, here's what Vasilios thinks of his entire crew!

Going in order of how they're listed on the front B)

Quill: In all honesty, Vasilios wasn't all that convinced by Quillus when they first met. He thought the guy was self absorbed, reckless, emotionally immature and just a bit of a twat. Sooome of that has changed now, some of it. The more time they spent together, the more Vasilios learned to accept Quill's quirks and understand his flippancy - it didn't take long to realise his constant flirting was well... A way to keep people from getting too close from him. [Vasilios is quick to admit it was very effective.] After a good few years of disdain towards Quill, he's grown to appreciate the man's upbeat and playful nature. He's still irritated by his tendency to drag other people into his reckless antics, though.

Ultimately, Quill is his captain and there's very little he wouldn't do for him provided harm is directed towards the correct people and is never excessive. Quill has lodged his way into Vasilios's heart and he's not moving any time soon - as much as Vasilios may insult him and curse his bloodline.

Mylo: Ah, how refreshing to find someone who isn't inclined towards negligent behaviour. Mylo does an excellent job of managing the aforementioned Quill, which got him into Vasilios's good books early on. Dear god though, could the motherfucker lighten up once in a while? Dude acts like the world is about to end 24/7 [Vas's words, not mine].

Narna: Anyone who cooks up good scran is a friend to Vasilios. As someone who also has a tough, imposing exterior but is really soft in the middle, he likes to think they can understand each other quite well.

Xiomara: Another chaotic crew member Vasilios has a soft spot for and quite some sympathy to share for the anxiety-ridden and clumsy woman. He really hopes Dagger will end up coming around to her as the amount of effort she puts into proving herself to her dragon is clear to see - it certainly makes him appreciate Urchin's affectionate nature a lot more.

Due to her clumsiness, she's a relatively frequent patient in Vasilios's office, but she's not difficult like Quill [who has to be dragged there no matter how severe] and it's usually minor damage. Vasilios is never bothered by her drop ins and is ready to listen to whatever misfortune came across her path that day.

Ava: Still relatively new to the crew, Vasilios tends to go out of his way to make sure new crew members are welcomed into the chaos *slowly*. Ava and Cassiopeia get out more than he does, and he'll occasionally ask if Ava can pick up various items for him whilst she's out on scouting missions. Scouting is a dangerous job, so he's always quite anxious for her return to make sure she and Cassiopeia are okay. There's this look in Ava's eyes that tells Vas he's still got a lot to learn about her and is keen to get to know her better.

Shai: As someone who has a relatively strong sense of directions, Vasilios is quite confused as Shai's inability to realise he's holding the map upside-down. He figures maybe his confusion comes down to that dead star he seems to mutter about sometimes. Shai's handsy nature did initially catch Vasilios by surprise, but he's adjusted well and now feels as if something would be missing from his day without the occasional brush or nudge from him. Vas is mildly concerned that Shai is suffering from some kind of mental ailment due to his tendency to randomly shout in empty rooms or his fixation on the previously mentioned dead star - he's keen to keep a close eye on him, especially when he's not slept for some time.

His rambles about the places he's seen and the exploration he's done is like music to Vas's ears, though. He's more than happy to trade a hug for more information about where Shai has been.

Makovu: Somehow their paths haven't crossed much - Vasilios assumes this is due to the fact neither stray from their designated spaces. Vasilios is nearly always tied up in the medical office with something and he guesses Makovu is busy creating, fixing and designing the many weapons that the crew have. It's a busy job. He's quite tempted to ask Makovu to take a look at his arms - see if he has any ideas how they work or where they came from, but he's not quuiiite close enough to the guy to have the courage to ask just yet.

Charlie: Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, what would he do without her? Another person possessing common sense AND in a similar field of work, perfect! Charlie and Vasilios's paths cross over quite frequently, whether it's in the herb garden or in the medical supply store. He's always happy to watch her work or ask for her input on a thing or two when he's not sure - when he can get a moment that is! Disrupting her from her work isn't for the faint hearted. He greatly appreciates the head-down, efficient attitude she holds. He's quick to help her out with anything she'd ever ask - not that she frequently does because she's just that efficient - what's not to love!

He's managed to build up a lot of trust in her in a relatively short space of time, especially as she's his go to for removing Urchin's spines from awkward places, or fixing up his injuries when he can't do it himself.

Dallas: Vas thinks his parents didn't love him enough. End of. Nothing more to say.

Okay okay fine, I'll expand a little more. Adrenaline junkies very quickly get under Vasilios's skin. They're careless, attention seeking, reckless and quite often inconsiderate. Though he cares a lot of Dallas, he can often get firmer handling than the other crew members as he so frequently gets himself into stupid shit intentionally. It's balanced with some Vasilios-Flavoured affection, obviously, but no other crew member gets tossed over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes like Dallas does.

TL;DR:

Quill: Irritated by him initially, has come to understand and respect him.
Mylo: Common ground due to managing Quill, wishes he'd lighten up sometimes.
Narna: Good food = mega win.
Xiomara: Has a soft spot for her, feels bad that she's insecure.
Ava: Doesn't know her that well, but worries for her when she's out scouting.
Shai: Concerned about his mental health
Makovu: Doesn't know him that well, respects that they're both busy as fuck
Charlie: 10/10 crew member. So much common ground, she's efficient, everything to love here.
Dallas: Needs therapy or something
