Feralhearted I'm probably going to have the RP start tonight sometime, if not then, most likely earlier.
I'm going to list out the NPCs right now and check on any other logistics I might be missing.
I like the rule idea! I'll add it to the list. It can be a rule because of past accidents maybe??

I would say for past accidents and liability reasons. It was a problem in my old real life barn and a rider broke her hip because of it. |

With the mystery element maybe they are given school issued phones and laptops? The school could say if was for liability and inclusion so that way everyone has the same programs and level of tech.. so maybe no outside electronics? |

However, what is a good valid reason for that? I'm thinking with the no pictures to be posted on social media, maybe they had a bullying problem which is funny cause these are adults.
That too! They are adults. So maybe we loosen a few things up and not involve that rule yet. But let me know your thoughts. :D |

Well just because they are an adult that doesn't mean they can't be bullied. The horse world can get really nasty with infighting and "riding shaming". Like, maybe people have taken videos without consent and cropped it to show the worst parts to make the rider look incompetent or even abusive. Horse Fail type videos are popular on YouTube and other sites in the community so it's pretty easy to make someone or the school look bad. I went to 2 years of equestrian science/ production schooling (basically a "learning in a classroom attached to the barn, bring your horse, and show up to the national level" type thing as an undergrad) and we had strict no videos or pictures without consent type rules. Maybe restrictions on phones would be silly though now that I think about it lol.

Wait no! This actually makes more sense now that it's all laid out haha. We'll stick with the no phones policy probably and no photos/videos, but probably some of the characters break the rules to get ahead. |
