Except it isn't
I *love* caviar. Haven't had it in years, but I can do caviar, probably because they're firm and pop?

But the tiny boba are squishy ToT

It really is sad. I work in a vet hospital and I've had more huskies, Dalmatians, and chihuahuas try and take my face off than anything else, but I've never seen any legislation about them.

With everything going on in the US

I highly doubt a federal law relating to dog breeds is gonna come out :'D

Yeah, so blaming a human for the dog being aggressive is like blaming a human's mistakes on mommy issues. Sure, may be the case sometimes, but not every time.

Today I learned that tiny boba pearls exist...
I cannot tell how I feel about them

It's actually not being enforced, the bill won't pass. Americans don't give a shit what type of dog you have. This is a rumor going around social media for some reason. Not truth. The law actually restricts the ban on breeds like pitbulls, german shepherd, etc

Yeah, that's how it is with all animals on the planet

I breed American Bullies, and I can state with confidence, that while some people feed the dogs attitude or aggression, but some dogs are aggressive by nature. Now, by saying that, not ALL dogs in the breed are automatically aggressive. Pits tend to be territorial and possessive, so people tended to use them for fighting, which is how they earned their rep for being an aggressive breed. I've had pits that were the sweetest things, and then I've had some that aren't. It's just like people. Not all of them are bad, but accassionally there's a Ted Bundy or Jeffery Dahmer in the mix.

Interesting, the one that's been trying to get passed in the US has dogs being euthanized. If it looks like a bully, it's dying

they arn't slaughtered. It breeding, selling, buying, trading ETC witch is banned. the current bullies may live out their lives. Though, a lot of especially brits euthanised theirs (out from their own choice)

but this is also stated on the UKC webpage "Above all else, the APBT must have the functional capability to be a catch dog that can hold, wrestle (push and pull), and breathe easily while doing its job. Balance and harmony of all parts are critical components of breed type.

Yep, I wish we as a world would stop and actually inform ourselves and stop spreading misinformation. The media is always dramatizing things and blowing everything way out of proportion and now we have innocent animals being slaughtered because of it

this one's for those who've made their own species and all
-
Alright so I've been around in the online OC and art community for a few years now and I've always wanted to make my own species of OC. Never did get around to it because I thought it'd be a lot of work and I'd get real burnt out. Probably still will but I've been getting inspired lately so I'm wondering what those out there who've made their own custom species have to say, effort- and time-wise, and just overall any tips or advice for coming up with the species design + lore and managing it?

thanks folks!

Don't mind me-
I LOVE creating new species/ rules/ anatomy whatever (basically lore building). So, how I do it is kinda just basing it off of real life! To create a species, I usually have a few things I look at first before I just create them willy nilly.
  1. What enviroment do they live in? (Is it cold? Hot? Humid? Flat terrian?)
  2. What do they eat? (Are they herbaviors? Carnivors? Omnivors?)
  3. Are they domesticated? (Do people/other creatures fear them? Are they agressive?)
These are really just the starter questions I use. Once I have those answered, then I started designing.
-
Example:
  1. This creature lives in a cold enviroment --> This creature is white to blend in with snow, and has dense fur to stay warm. I may had blue and brown accents.
  2. This creature is an Omnivor, but hunts regularly. --> This creature has sharper teeth, and it's eyes are in the front of it's head. It might have horns for ramming, and it has sharp serrated claws for climbing and latching onto prey.
  3. This creature is not overly aggressive --> This creature does not have overly shiny designs as it does not need to warn others (brightly colored animals usually mean venomous/ 'don't mess with me'. It is smaller, not needing to overpower others. It uses it's speed.
---
Uh, I don't know if this helped, I might edit this because I love world building but I hoped this helped!
-
Also another tip I like to use is adding tiny traits and quirks (like fire dragons hibernate in the cold, and are typically territorial, etc)
