Pick a random coat. Then dye it in the use item box. It will override whatever coat you picked.

okay chat im sorry for continuing on with my questions about applying dyes but I want to have clarity on the customization before applying a dye
Do you just apply a random coat of any color then go to the wolves 'use item' menu and apply dye?
or
Do you apply the pelt of the dye in the customization and it will use the dye that way?

Most of your work has what is known as blurring by the looks of things this is not really a bad thing buy can take away the over all quality of the piece and in some cases take away the true perspective that the artist was going for.
The last one in the jail or sewer I can't tell and it is really dark maybe change it a bit add light like a torch on the wall or have one holing a lantern in his mouth or candle to add soft glow lighting to the piece to help bring it to life more and enfisize the details better

Thanks so much for the critiques! Do you have any examples of blurring? I really don't use that brush as a primary tool, and so I'd love to see where you mean!
oh, it's supposed to feel sorta lifeless and dark! But I do think those are some good ideas, thanks :)

Normally one blurs the back ground a little as well as distant objects in your works in your picture of the horse head there is a lot of blurring in places it should not have been. I would also suggest on the dark images adding night eye effect it is hard to get just right but normally on a computer I use the highlighter and ring it around the eyes to make it look like there glowing then touch back up the fur around the eyes and back ground so only the eyes glow but there are other ways to get this effect metallic paint is one way. Which brush did you use exactly it will help me describe what method to use better. I will give you an example when I can riggt now I am baby sitting

Oh, the horse head is two/three years old, and traditional! There was no brush for that :) I just wanted to include something graphite. It's definitely a little iffy shading and anatomy wise, I agree.

And that's a good point! Blurring backgrounds is something I should probs improve on, and the eye thing I'll take into account!
I use a variety of brushes on Autodesk Sketchbook, I couldn't pinpoint exactly one.

I have to say that as an artist that isnt very good, i must praise you for your current skill level! You're amazing!
However since you insist for a critic i think ill have to point out the lighting in a few of the pieces was just a bit off. For example, the one with the wolf and the planets/moons in the background: the entire body of the wolf would be lit up by the reflection of the sun off of them, not just in a few places, due to the fact the size of the planets would make the reflecting light cast across a very large area, especially with the wolf seeming to be so near. I always (try to) remember to make sure i know where my light source is casting/what direction its going because (in my personal opinion) perfect lighting just makes the piece seem so much better than you thought it would be
However as i mention lighting the last one in that gallery(the one done with mostly shadows) has perfect lighting so i can only assume that you already mastered the whole lighting thing X3

You might remember me, I spam your art gallery thread :p
I love your work, and I hope this doesn't come across too harsh
One thing that I think might need some improvement is your lineless works
They are lovely, however some of them don't seem to have the same good anatomy (sometimes a nose is wonky, etc. it doesn't seem as solid as your with lines style)
I am not sure how you make them, however I suggest maybe start with a sketch and paint over that? So you have a little something to work with
I really like the colors in your lineless, and that style of art is much trickier than with lines, so a few slip ups here and there makes sense :)
I absolutely adore your art, I hope this wasn't to harsh ^^' <3
