I've pretty much decided it's going to happen without restrictions. Because everybody has a different play style. And trying to force a play style on packs won't work. People will still get around restrictions the same way they do today. I would rather breeding be fluid. If there is one thing you can see in this thread is that everybody has different ways of playing the game. I think the markets will be fine. If you breed awesome pups, or have an awesome stud, there will always be a market for them. Edited at July 26, 2024 01:13 PM by SixBears

I vote yes. I want to be able to pair wolves in my pack without the hassle of having to wait until the wolf is age 5 to switch their rank to an "Elder" for a bonded-breeding pair. I believe this would also help packs who breed for specific traits/talents or for those who just like to experiment and have fun. I definitely see myself still using the Trading post to look for Studs, but I'd like to have the option to breed within my pack. Edited at July 27, 2024 04:55 PM by kcylita

I voted yes. Personally, I don't interact with other players when I breed to studs in any way. I don't think making breeding in your pack an option and therefore lowering the amount of breeding outside of packs will truly affect player communication.

How is it going to work?

maybe because it would be great to get to breed inside my pack but also there are a lot of great wolves outside my pack that i like to breed to and if this goes into action a lot of those wolves might just be taken off because their owners might want to keep them just to breed within their packs

I like this idea as there are a couple of males in my pack I would like to breed to some of my females but I still love breeding to other people's wolves as well.
