Appearance:
Scirocco is incredibly long, lithe, and sleek, her figure typical of an oriental dragon’s serpentine-like shape. The entire length of her body from snout to tail-tip is nearly 45 feet, her neck and body taking up about the first 23 feet and her tail taking the rest. She has no wings but can still fly, though how this is accomplished isn’t fully understood by even the dragon herself. Sciro stands around 5 feet at the shoulder, and while standing in a normal, resting position the distance from the ground to the top of her head is 12 feet due to the length of her neck, which is around half the length of her main body. The sides of her body below her mane and just above her underbelly are lined with small, smooth overlapping scales that are various shades of silvery, icy powder blues and teals. There is some fur peeking out beneath each of her scales that are of the same colors, but in slightly quieter shades. This effect gives her a more soft appearance, sometimes hiding her scales entirely depending on how long it is according to the season. Sciro’s skin underneath is very sensitive and reactive, and as a result her scales can move and shift, similar to the fur on the coat of a canine, for example.
Sciro has a mane of soft, feathery white fur that begins between her ears and continues all the way down her spine to encompass much of the last couple feet of her tail, forming a significant tuft of fur at the end of it. Most of her mane ranges from 1 to 2 feet in length. Some of her mane also runs down the front of her neck and chest, as well as the back of the top half of her legs. Her underbelly, forearms, forelegs, and claws feature thicker, larger plates that resemble a more armored appearance, but are still soft and vulnerable to injury. These plates appear more slivery-white in color and her talons are a pale gray, curved and quite sharp. Her legs are long and slender, and the distance between her fore and hind legs is significant. Scirocco is immensely flexible, her body able to curve and twist around itself in seemingly impossible ways, not unlike a serpent. Though she is wildly agile she doesn’t lack strength. Underneath her soft appearance and lean shape is all taut, wiry muscle.
Sciro’s head is slender and angular, sort of canine-like in shape, but still distinctly draconic. The end of her snout around her nostrils fades to silver where the scales grow smaller. There is much less fur beneath the scales on her head, to the point it is hardly noticeable aside from a faint fuzz. There is a line of fur that follows along her jawline and cheekbones, only an inch or two in length and it ends part way down her jaw towards the end of her snout. Scirocco’s ears are medium in size and in relation to the shape of her head, and resemble those of a deer. They are majorly the main colors of her body and feature silver tips. Just above her ears are two slender, pale gray horns that begin thicker at the base and taper off into sharp points, for the most part pointing straight out from her skull. They have a slight outwards curve to them in the middle, then curve back in towards her spine with the tips angling slightly upwards at the end. There are a few scattered scars that are inevitable for any warrior, most of them being faded or hidden by her mane or by new scales. The most noticeable are around her neck, just below her head. These scars are faded and long ago healed, to the point that most would look over them without realizing, but the injuries were bad enough that her scales couldn’t grow back. The skin is white with a faint pink tint.
Sciro’s eyes are sharp and angular in shape. The sclera and pupils of her eyes are entirely black, while her irises are a luminous silver. She has two sets of eyelids; a main one that works like normal and even has white eyelashes, and a secondary clear eyelid. The secondary eyelid closes vertically, and this is used to protect her eyes in particularly windy weather and to allow her to see underwater. Sciro has two long, very thin, whip-like appendages at the end of her snout, one on each side of her muzzle, springing out from the side and behind her nostrils. Each is a shimmering, pale silver-gray. These are very sensitive whiskers that are vital for sensing wind currents and changes in the air. They are quite light and seem to float and wave through the air around her as if with a mind of their own.
Personality (WIP):
Sciro is a naturally calm, collected, and easy-going dragon. She is level-headed and clever, and excels at adapting to new situations. She has a positive attitude and is generally respectful and open-minded to those she meets. Sciro is sociable and good-natured, and once she starts talking with someone those characteristics often become evident. She has a good sense of humor and a mischievous streak to sometimes be wary of.
Scirocco’s smooth demeanor and gentle appearance may make her seem like a pushover, but in reality, she is anything but. This is a front she has carefully cultivated in order to hide the more fierce side of herself. She prefers it when others underestimate her. Sciro is intense, calculating and very driven. She will not stand for mistreatment or acts that she deems abominable. If someone earns it, she can hold a grudge. She has an unshakable fighting spirit, and a knack for battle that people don’t expect from her appearance. As a result of recent experiences, there have been times where Sciro has been known to get too into a fight, to the point of losing herself in battle. She becomes a bit bloodthirsty, going so far as to stain her white fur and scales shades of red and pink with both her blood and that of her opponent. On one occasion she even needed someone to snap her out of it before she could do lasting harm.
Despite the more intimidating side of her personality, Sciro’s heart is in the right place. She has and intense loyalty to her home and family, and her ability to fight stems from the desire to protect the things important to her. She wants to do what is right in her eyes and to make her family proud, even if she has made a lot of mistakes along the way. Scirocco’s true strength, after all, is getting back up again and again and to keep looking forward.

Frostfire Breath:
Sciro can breathe icy flames that are so cold, they burn. In reality, this isn’t a type of fire at all, but her breath does take on the appearance of frosty white and pale blue flames when used. This is a ranged, targeted attack that intensely and drastically lowers the temperature surrounding the ‘flames’ and whatever they hit. Frost instantly forms on the target, and a deep cold can penetrate up to several inches deep, like a fast, advanced stage of frostbite. Scirocco can control the intensity of this breath, ranging from creating a thick, frosty mist around herself that acts as a smokescreen but does little harm, to a concentrated stream that can travel up to 50 yards. The most effective range is 20-30 yards. The more fierce the attack, the more effort and energy it takes. At the moment, Sciro’s limit is up to 5 more powerful, concentrated attacks. Also, if she uses this attack too much in a short range of time, she is in danger of damaging her body with her own frostfire, particularly her throat and mouth.
Ice Manipulation:
Pretty self-explanatory, Scirocco has the ability to create ice and form it into shapes and structures. The larger the structure and the more ice it takes, the more energy it takes, and the harder it is to form it into anything specific. More complicated shapes take more focus, while simple ones can be created more rapidly. While Sciro can create ice almost out of nothing, it is more difficult to do so. It is much easier to freeze and shape existing water in the air or nearby. Sciro can create snow as well. Either by freezing rain in a certain radius around herself, or by freezing the water particles in the air around her.
Frostbite Touch:
With a touch, Sciro can cause something to be very cold very quickly, causing a numbing or ‘frostbite’ effect. This touch can freeze plants and other objects, making them easier to break. In other living creatures it causes a rapid numbing sensation, often leading to little to no use of the body part affected, depending on how long they are exposed.
