Species: A Sun Elf Appearance: When looking at this young woman you first notice her average height. This woman stands at around 5'4 in height and she weighs in around 132 lbs. Her body can be described as curvaceous and feminine to one's eyes. She has slightly wider than normal hips - child bearing hips as an older woman would say she has. It is also plausible to say, she has a sizable arse that adds to her feminine wilds and makes it a pain to get into jeans when the time calls for it. She is also mildly busty, being blessed and cursed with a gracious bosom size - it being a blessing because it complements her appearance and makes her even more appealing to the eyes but bothersome considering they can be heavy and can just a pain to deal with. While her body is curvy, she holds some muscle in well-toned and well-kept arms and legs - not being overly bulky but still standing out just to give that intimidating factor that she can and will is capable of knocking you out if you piss her off and that she works out. Her skintone can be described as a beautiful bronze skin color with lovely golden tan undertones. Her skin seems to just illuminate under sunlight, and she credits that due to her good melanin genes. Her skin tans very easily, so in the spring and summer months when the sun is at its highest points she gets a bit darker than her normal color and in the winter months she goes back to her normal skin tone or just a little bit lighter than her usual skin. Her skin is smooth and soft to the touch, with the exception being her hands which can be describe as a bit leathery yet smooth and comforting in a way. She also has been grace with having little to no acne to grace her skin due to it having a good oil balance. Along her skin you can see scattered beauty marks and freckles, the beauty marks mainly trail along her back along with some scattered freckles. She has freckles just about everywhere but the amount depending on the spot varies. This female has a sharp yet soft facial structure, her facial structure being that of a heart. She has what can be describe as a celestial nose with a slightly wider nose bridge — very aristocratic, no? Along her nose bridge and her full and puffy cheeks are freckles which can seem to illuminate under sunlight and moonlight. Her cheeks also puff up when she's annoyed or angry about something and it is quite amusing to see her nose crinkle in disgust as well. Her lips are full and has what can only be describe as a Cupid's Bow on then, her lips are two toned with the upper lip being a darker brown color and the bottoms one being a bright rosy-pinkish color. Her eyes are rather eye catching as well, they are shaped in the form of an upturned almond shape with a slightly wider look - making them appear more expressive. She has a beauty mark in the corner of her right eye and in the corner of the left side of her lips. Her eyes can be described as a stunning jade green color, reminding one of the beauty of green seawater and if she turns in the light just right or she's super excited they can brighten up to a very pretty emerald shade. It's quite easy to say one can get lost in those eyes of hers if they're not careful, they're quiet hypnotic. Her favorite and most unique feature about her hair is the odd yet natural coloration of her hair. Her hair can be described as mushroom brown with its coloration, it getting its name from looking like the cap of naturally brown mushrooms - particularly portobello mushrooms. The darkest parts of her hair are at the top and they are a very dark brown, almost black looking color, but as you go down to the middle of her hair you start to see her hair looking a bit cooler in a way, with normal brown tones intermixed with slightly lighter tans, and then at the tips or ends of her hair it looks almost very light — nearly blonde if you will. It's these colors in combination that gives her the ashy or grayish looking neutral tone to her hair that makes her a mushroom brunette. Her hair is rather long , wild and messy — a bit like her . This beautiful young woman's crown of hair stops at her waist, and it has a very high volume and thickness to it that it crowns her head with beauty and anyone without hair would envy her and those who know how hard it it is to manage such an amount of thick hair wouldn't want to be her. Her hair is well-maintained by an assortment of expensive oils, shampoos, and conditioners and she wouldn't have it any other way. Her hair can be described as four-c with beautiful and tight springlet curls that seem to bounce with her as she moves. She has assortments of bands and clips she uses to keep her hair up and out of her way. Overall her hair is a crown of glory and she's quite proud of it. Personality: When meeting this young woman, the first thing you observe about her is the regal presence that she carries herself with - the way she walks with poise and grace, the practiced smiles, and the carefully crafted words she speaks. You'll see that her head is never bowed down in cowardice and her strides are long and confident, and her presence being commanding. To most she appears as an enigma- one can never truly guess her allegiance unless she's told you her stance and even then, is she really telling you the truth? In honesty, one could call her treacherous - while she does have some sense of loyalty, she's not blindly loyal. She's only loyal to those that help her serve a purpose - and if someone can offer something better, then she's not against being the "bad guy" and being a traitor. Anything that can be used to her advantage - will be used to her advantage. No one can truly tell where her loyalty lies and ever will, she keeps her cards close to her heart. This young woman is quite indifferent when it comes to violence - for the most part she doesn't care who gets hurt due to her actions, however the moment someone she cares for is in danger - that's the moment the switch flips. Upon first setting eyes upon Mererid, the first thing anyone with eyes, and maybe even those without, will notice is the almost unnatural, ethereal beauty the young woman has to her. She's unique and unusual in appearance, but stunning nonetheless. a testimony to her Siren lineage. Standing at 5'7", she is neither tall nor short, and instead falls somewhere in between, with a lean but soft physique that screams femininity. Delicate curves and soft features make the young woman seem unintimidating, allowing others to naturally feel at ease around her, though this has just as much to do with what she is as it does who she is.
Despite her natural instincts to be outside around the sea, feeling the salt on the air and the sand on her feet, Mer spends most of her time inside the Royal Palace. Whether it is due to this or just her natural complexion, the Siren has a rather fair complexion. Not pale enough to be considered porcelain, surely she would tan lightly if she was outside enough. However, it also flushes easily, often staining her cheeks, ears, and/or neck a soft pinkish red hue. Often what part of her is turning red is the best way to read her.
Along with her pale complexion. Mererid also has rather pale eyes. They're such a light grey they're almost white, or, well, they are white. Seemingly bleached of any color, even her pupil seems rather light in comparison to the norm. This gives her a rather haunting, eerie look when making contact with her, which can make it difficult to meet her eyes and keep their focus for long. Aside from that, though, she has an almost elfish or fae-like appearance. She has pointed ears that plane to the side slightly, but round eyes that, despite their haunting look, have this almost inherit innocence to them. Her nose is short, but straight, coming to a soft point above her cupid's bow shaped lips.
In contrast to her pale skin and eyes, the young siren woman has rather dark, though it too is of a rather unusual color. Like a hue from the sea, Mererid's hair is a deep, dark blue-green color, rich in color, and causing her to stand out where ever she goes. It's long in length, reaching down her back in wavy locks.
Being a servant, Mererid tends to favor fashion that is on the simpler side. Typically dresses or outfits in natural tones or pastel colors, her favorites being light pink, or lavender. Paired with these clothes is often a dark cloak with a hood allowing her to traverse around without people telling who she is if the Royal Family needs her to. She prefers simplistic outfits, and doesn't bother even considering more luxurious fabrics for herself, knowing she likely couldn't afford them, or find an occasion to wear them.

History:
Abilities:Siren Song - Most known for this, Mer's Siren Song ability is by far her strongest and most versatile ability. It itself cannot harm anyone, but she can use it influence others to do harm for her. It can calm people if she desires, or it can influence their minds to do her bidding, etc. It doesn't have to be a negative thing, and it isn't just whenever she sings, she has to be channeling this ability in order for her singing to have the effects.
Sonic Scream - Her primary offensive skill, Mer can use her vocals to unleash a powerful sonic scream that comes with a concussive force as well as damaging ear drums. She can channel and focus it towards a singular or chosen enemies, or can send it out in an encompassing waves. The more focused it is, though, the stronger it is.
Enchanted Allure - A primarily passive ability, Mer's supernatural beauty comes with an unnatural allure to those around her. They're drawn to her, and those of the weakest will are unlikely to tell her no when she asks for things. Now she can dampen this ability so it isn't potent, but it's always present, with it's weakest affect just helping people be comfortable around her.
Death Song - Not to be confused with the above Siren Song, Mer's death song is a far more potent and dangerous thing. Typically only emitted when she's in severe danger or severely wounded, it's a sound so loud it's barely hearable, but so loud anyone near by not covering their ears will die from internal hemorrhaging of their brain. This will completely exhaust her abilities, so it's usually a last ditch effort to defend herself or to get away while her opponents are disorientated.
Currently, Mererid has no water abilities due to her time away from the sea. If she were to eventually live a life near, around, or on it, she would develop abilities that basically fed by the sea.
Strengths & Weaknesses:Strengths
1. Enhanced Capabilities - Mererid has enhanced agility, reflexes, senses, and balance, which helps her a lot in day to day life, as well as in combat if needed. Homegirl can carry a stack of laundry taller than her head and never stumble.
2. Ability Versatility - Almost all of her abilities can be used in different ways, meaning she isn't a one trick pony with each ability, and can use them to benefit her in different ways.
3. Strong Swimmer - Being a Siren she is naturally in her element in and around water. She is an excellent swimmer, and feel extremely confident in water, even being able to hold her breath for an extended amount of time.
4. Level Headed - Mererid is a calm persona, keeping a level head even when in extreme duress. She can calmly think through things, and often come up with a plan, or calmly wait until help arrives.
Weaknesses
1. Strong Emotions - If Mer ever has a spell where she has an emotional outburst, it can cause her to lose temporary control over her abilities. These means using them when she didn't mean to, making them stronger or weaker than she wanted, or not being able to use them, etc.
2. Physical Strength - She might have agility, reflexes, etc. but she doesn't have as much enhanced strength compared to other species. She might be stronger than your average human, but not even to contend with stronger creatures when it comes to brute strength.
3. No Healing Ability - She heals at a normal rate, so she has to be careful of wounds and how hard she pushes herself. She is not immortal in the sense that she cannot be killed. She might not age quickly, but she can be killed just like a human.
4. No Water Abilities - While many Sirens develop water attributes, Mererid has developed none. This is due to the extended amount of time she has spent away from the sea.
