Gus smiled when he saw Apollow again, shifting his backpack over one shoulder. "Nah, no cat allergies. I love cats, though I'm more of a dog person myself." He used to have some pretty bad experiences with cats but learned to like them when he was around 12. He caught Apollow looking at him out of the corner of his eye and looked quickly in the opposite direction, pretending to study the few stars they could see that night. "Oh, look!" He whispered excitedly. "There's Orion!"

"Good, she's pretty sweet all around, but cautious around new people" he watched as Gus looked away, and exclaimed something about the stars "oh yeah! And there's casseopeia!" Apollow did know too much about the stars but he knew enough to find and name constellations. The night sky was beautiful, but he preferred the oceans depths. "What do you like to do in your freetime?" He asked because he wasn't sure what they would do when they got to his house.

Gus sighed with comfort. He followed Apollow's gaze to Cassiopeia before looking back over. Apollow's hair seemed to glow in the faint light of the streetlights, almost like a star. "Not much. I just put on whatever I can find on Netflix and then fall asleep. I don't think I've ever actually watched anything all the way through. Other than that, I just sit around and wait to see if someone texts me or I prepare my gear for the next game." He stopped watching Apollow and pushed his gaze back to the ground in front of his feet.

(I thought My telescope was a person for a moment, and theirs weird noises outside and I'm terrified, clinging for dear life to Eryx) Je watched stars seeing if he could point out any more constellations he knew. "Your very passionate about Hockey, and that's admirable." He smiled in Gus's direction before returning his gaze to the skies. "Alright, we can turn on the TV in my room and I can show you some of my art then, it isn't hard to miss, since a lot of it is hanging from the walls or laying around on tables." He thought about his answer, kind of lame. He added more "here," he grabbed a stray piece of paper from his bag and scribbled his number on it "I'll text you, so you don't have to wait and feel lonely"

Gus gently took the paper from Apollow, carefully avoiding touching his hand. He looked at the number on it, a soft smile passing over his lips before he frowned again. "That's alright, you don't need to do that if you don't want to. I usually sleep anyway." Gus feared he was becoming a burden to Apollow, what with having him show up at the game, listen to his problems, and then take Gus to his house. Though it was nice, having someone listen and stick around for long enough. "I cant remember the last time I had a conversation this long with anyone other than my siblings."

"But I do, I honestly don't talk to anyone but maybe two people. So it's nice to talk to someone." He watched Gus looked at the paper. "Me either, I don't even have siblings so it's more like, I haven't heard myself talk in forever" he smiled and continued walking. "My place is just up the road on the left, the little Grey and white one. Not big, but it's nice." He sped up a little bit, it was kind of cold and he was kind of hungry. " are you hungry? I can whip up some food if you are. All that activity had got to have you famished"

Gus chuckled, noticing the small difference in Apollow's speed. He kept up easily, longer legs covering more distance between strides. "I'm always hungry," he laughed, realizing then how long he had waited to eat something. Only after the realization did his stomach start feeling tight and painful. Any food sounded as good as anything at that moment. "What do you plan on making?" Gus wasn't much of a cook himself, but he made a few sandwiches for his little siblings when they asked, and he made a mean pot of macaroni when called for.

"Well" he paused and thought about what Gus might like. "I could homemake some pasta or burgers." Gus looked like a Burger guy, he decided. "Or I'm sure I could make something else" Apollow had plenty of things in his fridge he could use to make something, he was a good cook, but didn't do it very often. "I'm sure you're starving after games," as they walked up to his apartment Apollow took out his keys, before he could even open the door he could hear Kiki meowing like she's been abandoned on the other side of the door. Apollow laughed nervously.

Gus nodded, listening to Gus relay what he could make. He wasn't opposed to any options at this point, especially because he was excited to taste Apollow's cooking. He looked around as they walked up to the apartment door. His eyes caught on every little reflection in the windows, every little leaf that had started growing on the trees. The new life in this area was much more beautiful than back at home in his... home. He chuckled softly as he heard the cat behind the door. "Sounds like she's dying," he smiled at Apollow.

Apollow unlocked the door and opened it for Gus. "She's fine, just dramatic" he laughed. Apollow found the small void cat and picked her up, Kiki quickly stopped her screaming and gave one loud meow as she swatted at his hair. "Stop that" he grabbed her paw gently and pressed it against his lips. "There, attention, see. Be calm now" he said as he shifted her weight and began to walk to the kitchen. "So, burgers or pasta?" He asked again, either he didnt catch Gus's response or he didn't respond at all. He opened the fridge with Kiki still in his left arm, and looked around for what he had to work with.
