"Apollow Zimri," Gus said under his breath, turning the name over in his head countless times. And what did he mean he hadn't had to introduce himself? Was he some sort of quiet kid that never spoke, or someone so full of himself that he figured everyone knew who he was? "Sounds familiar." Gus eventually sighed, gripping Apollow's hand almost roughly. He shook the boy's hand and then let go, looking back down at the drawing on his desk.

"Familiar?" He decided to play it off like he never spoke to anyone, he enjoyed the thought of someone not knowing about him, or his job. "Anyway, are you excited for your guys game tonight?" He asked, grabbing his notebook from I front of him and returning to face backwards and sketch a bit more. "I was thinking about going since I don't have a recording tonight" Apollow began the sketch Gerber daisies and sunflowers. He picked out various shades of orange, yellow, red and a brown and pink.

"Hell yeah," Gus responded, readjusting himself in his seat so he was more comfortable. He watched Apollow grab his notebook and start drawing again. "Im not planning on letting our team lose this game. We're playing one of the best teams in the area, but Im sure we can pull through." He let Apollow finish talking before saying, "You should definitely come! Itll be great! And, recording? What kind of recording?"

"I'll be there then, I don't have much anything better to do" he said in between glances up at Gus. "I know you guys can do it" he smiled and looked up at gus for a second. "Oh, just an audio recording," he turned his attention back to his paper. "Nothing huge, I have a few songs out, but I prefer to stay small." He watched as Gus moved around, and he, too, adjusted how he was sitting, he brought his keg up onto the chair, leaning over his knee which was resting on the back of his seat. "What's your favorite color?" He asked out of habit, he liked keeping little notes on those things. But it often got him into trouble trying to remember them all.

Gus's mind went on a rampage trying to understand what he just heard. This kid, this small, nerdy-looking kid, made music? His brain had a hard time understanding it, especially because they were just juniors. When does someone find the time to get good at art AND release songs? - Despite the confusion, he shrugged it off, returning his attention to the conversation. "My favorite color?" Gus started becoming confused again. Nobody ever really held up a conversation this long with him, except for his little siblings. "I guess I don't have one. You?"

Apollow watched as Gus seemed to get confused. "Mine? I like orange, and neon green. Orange like, the color the sun is on a smokey summer day. And neon green like, well a green highlighter," he used that as an example as he held up his green highlighter. "How do you not have a favorite, doesn't one color look exceptionally nice to you, or make you happier than the others?" He continued his drawing, deciding to flip the lage and start drawing a snake, with wings, he awaited Gus's response while doing so.

Gus shook his head, thinking deeply and hard about this. "No, not really. Colors are just colors honestly." His eyes widened for a moment before he tried fixing his expression. He remembered when he was a couple of years younger and everything he owned had to be pink. The right shade of pink too. Not hot pink or dark pink. It had to be light, like a pastel color. That's his only recollection of having a favorite color, but no way in hell was he going to share that with someone he had just met. Especially not with his teammates so close by.

[Ppfffft that amazing] "What about..." he shuffled around his colors and held up a deep ocean blue, coloring in and orchid on his keft arm with it, "this one?" He capped the marker and set it back. "Or maybe this?" He colored in another further down his arm, in a lavender purple. "Thus one's nice, it's a light purple, but to light it almost looks pink. I like this one a lot too" he held up a similar color, but it had more of a magenta hint to it, and shaded in a few areas of the previous blue one, " see, it looks nice paired with the blue." He put his markers away and prepared for the bell to ring. "None of those brought you more joy than another?"

(He likes pink >:3) Gus watched as Apollow dragged the colors on the paper, carefully filling the drawing in. He shrugged again, looking at the spots with the more pink-ish colors. "I suppose I like the.... blue." His voice was quiet as he looked at the beautiful art that was just created in front of him. Apollow's hands seemed to know exactly what they were doing with a pencil and some markers.

"I like the blue as well, all colors are fun to use." He closed up his sketchbook and placed it in his bag. The bell was going to ring in about a minute, and he had only 2 more classes left. "Well, Gus, it was nice talking to you, I'll see you at the game, and around the school," he slung his backpack over his shoulder "don't be a stranger okay?" He said as he walked towards the door. "That was fun" he said under his breath as he walked away
