Gus's eyes followed Kiki, and when she stopped, his eyes continued up to Apollow across from him. "I would love to take a jacket, but you're probably right about it being too small." He laughed, eyes squinted as his smile reached up. The corners of his eyes creased and he looked away, rubbing a hand on the back of his neck. "I haven't been star gazing in years, so it would be lovely to see them again. I can go without a jacket. I stay in a cold rink a lot of the time."

"Then it's a plan, give me one moment I've got to put on warmer clothes, the bathroom is just don't that galway first on the left, if you need it" Apollow retreached to his room to find sweatpants and sweatshirt, Kiki followed close behind. He decided on a light pink almost white sweatshirt and black pants with the same shade of pink as an accent color, he shoved on his shoes and fussed with his hair in his mirror. All the while Kiki was rubbing up on his pants and meowing in hopes for a second dinner. Apollow gave in and threw a few treats in her bowl.

Gus stood carefully from his seat at the kitchen table. He carefully pushed his chair in and wondered why someone who lives alone would need more than one chair. To give himself something to do while Apollow was back changing, he picked up the cups and brought them to the sink, resting them carefully inside it. He then wandered back to the front door and shuffled his feet, waiting almost impatiently for his white haired friend to show so they could see the stars. It was getting late, but Gus was having too much fun to think about the time or sleep.

As Apollow made his way back to the kitchen he spotted Gus already at the door. "Ready to go I see?" He walked towards him and smiled as he grabbed his keys from the keyholder and opened the door. He could see the clear sky as soon as the door peeked open and knew it was going to be a good night for stargazing. As long as they found a spot without much light pollution. "I've found a great spot out in a field. It's about a 45 minutes drive from here though, is that alright?" He looked at the Jock as he walked out the door and smiled. Apollow was exited to have someone to talk to.

Gus suppressed a shiver as Apollow opened the door. The cool night air blasted into the room, cooling his cheeks quickly, which he was grateful for after seeing Apollow in the pink outfit. It suited the boy well, contrasting his very light hair. When Apollow explained the drive, Gus nodded. "Yeah, that'll be alright. I don't mind being in a car." He followed Apollow out of the apartment, closing the door behind him. "Tonight will be a good night for stargazing," Gus said, watching Apollow carefully.

(No because I literally forgot it was his favorite color) Apollow felt the cold air and was glad he had grabbed a sweatshirt before coming out. He glanced over at Gus and hoped he didn't get too cold. "The car is just over there, the blue Honda civic. I'll be right back I forgot something" he rushed back Into the apartment to find a heavy blanket to bring, in case Gus got cold. He locked the door on his way out and hurried back to Gus with the blanket in hand.

(Oop- lol) Gus nodded, wandering slowly over to the car, and eyeing it. It had been a bit since he had gotten a proper ride in a car, much less a nice one like this. He stood by the car, waiting for Apollow to come back out. As he waited, he leaned against the hood, his back to the apartment as he watched the stars he could see. The lights made it hard to identify some of the constellations, but a lot of them were still visible. He closed his eyes for a brief moment, the cold air refreshing.

"Alright, ready to go?" He opened his driver's side door and got in, tossing the blanket in the back. "I got a blanket in case you got cold, since you don't have much anything to keep you warm." He was exited to have someone to talk to, but wasn't sure exactly how to express it. "This spot is pretty much void of most light, so you can see everything up there. It's magical" he said and he waited for Gus.

Gus pushed himself off the hood of the car, turning to the passenger seat side. He opened the door and slid into the seat, adjusting his legs. "Thank you for bringing a blanket," he smiled, looking over at Apollow in the driver's seat. The car was a bit small for Gus's standards, but he fit fine. "Im excited to see this place you've got. Anywhere that doesn't have much man-made light is always beautiful." He watched Apollow's hands on the steering wheel, resting his own in his lap for the drive. "How did you find this place?"

Apollow began to drive, taking a turn down the road from the market. "I was out taking a drive one day and I happened to miss my exit, I got a bit lost and had to pull over to look up directions. I just happened to look out the window at the time." He explained as he drove. Apollow loved driving, it was something systematic he could do while he thought about things. "Don't worry about it, I'd feel bad if you were cold anyways." He took a left down a dirt road.
