Amara looked at Orion, almost surprised he thought what she just did was interesting. *Well I guess not everyone can do that* she thought. When he mentioned having a few more things to discuss, she wondered what he meant, and hoped it didnt mean anything bad. "I am ready" she replied as she followed him quietly. She glaned at Sokoya, wondering if she had an idea, but doubted she would be told if that was the case. *No reason for them to be open with me* she thought. |

"Actually, it's not anything between you and me Amara, but more over between you and Sokoya." His bodyguard stopped dead as he made his way back to the throne, but when she returned to him, her face was filled with confusion and a hint of betrayal. "Don't give me that look; I can tell that you do not approve of her being down her and that I spared her life. All it will take is my back being turned for one minute and you'll have her for supper and I won't be able to do anything about it." She opened her mouth to argue, but knew she didn't have anything to counter his statement with. "Air your grievances out now before they have a chance to fester." He crossed a leg and stared at her until she relented. Sokoya took in a deep breath and stared daggers at Amara. "Very well Orion, if you want me to say what's on my mind then I will speak... She doesn't deserve to live. At the end of the day she's a lowly human and an adventurer at that. She stormed our home along with the rest of them and she doesn't have any powers that make her valuable for everyone down here." She stopped and looked at him. Orion nodded at everything she said and eyed Amara. "What say you Amara? Anything to say to my bodyguard?" |

Amara looked confused at first when Orion said it was between her and Sokoya. *D-did I say something wrong* she thought as she looked over to the body guard. When she said what she did, she tensed up before she looked down, looking rather upset. "She's not wrong, but she's also not right. Yes, I am a human, but I am no adventurer. I did not willingly come down here. I did not agree to harm anyone here." She slowly looked up at Sokoya. "You can hate humans all you want, but I want to prove to you that I'm not like them. Please. I'm not wanted in that world. My father sold me off to that fool I was told is now dead, and I owe you for that. You saved me from marrying someone I didnt like. All I want to do now is show you that I'm not like those humans. I want to be welcomed somewhere, and here, seems like it might be my best option. I'm sorry you dont think I am worth being here, but please, give me a chance to help and show you I'm different." |

Orion nodded and looked up at Sokoya, waiting for her to react to what Amara said to her. She stayed silent for several seconds, looking at Amara with her intense gaze before turning to her master and sighing. "Fine. I'll give her a chance." She then turned to Amara and told her "If you give me so much as one reason to believe that you would harm Orion, I'll make sure that you will regret it." She closed her eyes and slithered off, leaving Orion alone with her. "Sorry about that; she's hesitant when it comes to trusting new people... and she hates humans in general. Just ignore her." He sighed and looked in the direction of where Sokoya left, still baffled concerning how much distrust she had. |

Amara looked at Orion after Sokoya left. "I dont blame her, but as to why she think I would harm someone who spared my life, I will never know" she replied before she let out a small sigh. "What can I do to earn not only her trust, but the others as well? I dont want them to hate me, or blame me for something other humans have done." She knew she probably sounded like a pathetic weakling, but she really didnt want them to blame her for things she never did, or at least never wanted to do. Had Orion not told them about how she was forced to go down there? Had they really thought she wanted to be there when she herself had not armor or weapons to be down there? Hell, it had seemed like Zane and his little crew didnt think there was anything dangerous that they couldnt handle since they left her so vulnerable. |

Orion stayed quiet for a moment after Amara was finished talking. He knew that she would have a very hard time fitting in with the rest of the inhabitants down in the dungeon just by the simple fact that she was human. He looked around the room for a moment as he collected his thoughts, before turning back to her and responding. "As cliche as it might sound Amara, but one thing that everyone down here respects is bravery and strength. Those two main things are the reason why so many of them are alive today in spite of everything that the world has to throw at them, and if you are able to prove to them that you have both qualities, then they should come to respect you in due time, even though you are human." He paused for another moment before getting up. "If you excuse me, I will head to my quarters for a few minutes, if you need me, just knock on my door." He walked to his room and locked the door behind him, taking off his mask and breathing a sigh of relief. He knew that it was only going to get harder for him to keep everyone from Amara, but she had value to her, so he was going to put in the work. |

Amara simply nodded as Orion spoke, understanding it would take time to gain the others trust. Especially seeing as she was the weakest member of the group and now still there. When he left to his room Amara slowly made her way to her quarters and sat on her bed, giving a small sigh. "Better than being killed or thrown back to the world who wanted me gone" she said as she laid down. She knew they hated her, and she wanted them to see she wasn't bad, but without hurting them, it would take time. |

Orion slept restlessly, his mind rushing about Amara not being able to adapt and the monsters killing both of them, first Amara for being a human, then him for sensing weakness and sympathy for the same race that drove all of the inhabitants down into the dungeon in the first place. The next morning Orion stirred himself awake and he let out a big yawn before putting on his entire outfit and walking out and sitting on his throne, ready for another day of dealing with whatever the inhabits had in store for him. It was strange; he never expected himself to handle something as big as this, but he couldn't have felt more at home doing this thing. |

Amara would be lying had she said that she slet well that night. The bed was comfortable, that was no lie, but being in such a new place, she wasnt sure what to expect, especially knowing others wanted her dead. She practically slept with one eye open, if she slept at all. Giving a sigh, she climbed out of her bed and did her best to comb out her hair with her fingers before she pulled it back into a loose braid. Taking a deep breath she slowly walked out of the room, carefully looking around to make sure nobody was there to hurt her before she walked out. *I hope I remember how to get there* she thought as she wasnt sure if she did. The female human wasnt sure if Orion was going to be able to take her to the training that day, and she couldnt expect him to do so each day. |

Surprisingly, no one was there at the start to talk to him when he sat down in the morning, which he was somewhat grateful for since it allowed him to fully wake up before anything big came up for him to deal with. However before anyone came out Orion noticed Amara heading out. "Good to see that you are awake Amara. Ready for more training?" He asked her, knowing that she had much more training waiting for her just a bit later on in the day. Sokoya had returned by his side, but he could tell that she was not fully sold on Amara being by his side. |
