Wolff's post - Part 1: The Morning (Andrew Addison) I yawned and sat up. I rubbed the linger of sleep from my eyes and stretched. I blinked, looking around my room. The curtains were open, the sun's rays streamed through the window, casting a warm yellow glow in the room. I pulled my bedsheets off that were wrapped around my legs. I stood up and went to my closet. I pulled out a white t-shirt, blue jeans, a black hoodie and headed to the bathroom on the far right of my bedroom. I left my clothes on the side of the sink and turned the water on. I took a shower and when I finished, changed into my clothes. I left the bathroom and went downstairs. I went to the kitchen and was greeted by a black/brown/red/white ball of fluff. It wagged its tail and barked. Hey, Duke. I said to my excited Aussie Bernese. Duke jumped up, tail wagging harder and dashed to the cabinet where we kept Dukes food. Im coming, hang on. I said to my dog, smiling. I opened the cabinet, grabbed a bowl and filled it with steak-flavored dry dog food. I swear I heard Duke licked his lips as I set the bowl next to the fridge. He zoomed to the bowl and started inhaling his food. Hungry, much? I said with an amused smile. I didnt blame him, I was a bit hungry myself. My stomach grumbled and I headed to the fridge. I open the fridge, grab the bag of bagels and toss one inside the toaster. I waited until the toaster beeped, grabbed a plate and plucked the toasted bagel from the toaster. I smeared it with butter and took a bite. I looked at my phone. I have about 20 minutes until mom wakes up. I finished my bagel, put on my shoe, exited the house and went for a walk in the woods.

I breath in softly. I streach up to the leaves and yawn. Maybe it was not the best idea to wake up before the sun. My stomach rumbles. Also not a smart idea to 'forget' breackfast. I walk along the river, carful not to make any noise. I might scare the berries. I leap and end up in the bush. I peer of, snathing a handful of blueberries. Stuffing them in my mouth, I bounce out of the bush and smile. I pluck a large pile and stuff in my mouth. I am sure I have blue, all over my face.
