Cambree Cambree was licking her flank when a flurry of movement caught her attention just before a huge weight slammed into her chest. Her head hit the ground with a sickening thud, and the wind was knocked out of her lungs. It took a few moments before she could get enough air back into her body. Once her head stopped spinning and her gaze focused, she realized she was staring up into the eyes of a male wolf who had her pinned to the forest floor. A flash of panic went through her. She had tried so hard to keep from being discovered. Now, she wasn't sure she would even be alive by the end of the day. Her head still pounded from the hit, but she forced the panic aside and tried to keep a clear mind. Panicking wouldn't help her if she wanted to try to get out of this alive. The male's face was twisted with rage. His jaws were inches from her nose and were set in a fierce snarl. His paws were a heavy weight on her chest, making it harder for her to breathe. A few more moments of silence passed before she realized he had spoken. She didn't want to give too much information away. She hoped that if she appeared non-threatening then he'd let her live. "I'm just a loner." Her voice shook slightly with fear, but she used it to her advantage. She wanted to appear small and weak...submissive. She knew she couldn't overpower him, but she might could get him to back down enough to either leave her be or enough for her to surprise him. |

Maximus Maximum held the loner down just putting enough of his weight on her to hold her still, "Don't oh I'm a innocent loner me thief" he growled making room as Dakota, Ice and Artemis showed up surrounding the loner. Alpha I found this thief trying to steal a rabbit from the border, what do you want me to do with it. " Dakota glared down at her his amber eyes showing no emotion "first off explain what you want from my territory loner. Dakota growled impatiently waiting for her to answer. (I know it's short but I didn't really know what to say...) |

Cambree As soon as the other wolves showed up, she knew she wasn't going to get out of this easily. All fight when out of her so she let her body go slack. "I don't want anything to do with your territory. I was just hunting, but I didn't cross the border," Cambree said as she turned to look at the wolf that had asked the question. "Please let me go. You won't come across me again." |
