Vědmák Ohexis
Psyche || Male || New Dragon || Mentions: Sevo, Genevieve
Indirectly Mentions: Beollán, K'issuk

"Much happening."

Those appeared to be his sole utterance, followed by a solitary claw gesturing toward the commotion. He observed as a formidable fire dragon tried to attack its rider, only to have its actions thwarted by a water dragon. While gasps and screams filled the air, Vědmák simply stared, a blank expression on his face before turning back to his rider, seemingly unfazed by the events unfolding in the valley.

"ᚠᛁᚷᚺᛏᛁᛜ ᛁᛊ ᚾᛟᛏ ᚷᛟᛟᛞ." He warbled on, shaking his head with distaste before glancing in Sevo's direction. Eyes lighting up, he elevated himself onto his hind legs when he saw his eldest companion finding his rider. "Sevoooo found his human." he drew out, the sentence taking an agonizingly long time to be spoken. Pausing, his head snapped towards his rider once more, lips curling up as a sudden sound echoed within his mind. The sound continued, his rider mumbling on. When she concluded, he flopped onto his rump as if defeated, blinking at her slowly.

"Gift was nice. Shiny." Opening his mouth, his talons tapped the ring upon his tooth, creating a soft clink before he slammed his muzzle shut. For a moment, his fur had ruffled upon being called regal, chest puffing out with content before deflating. 'You know much about dragons?' He asked, an accent still following even through the link before he randomly clapped his hands together. 'Yes! Psyche!' Pointing to himself, he bobbed his head when he was identified. Leaning in slightly, he cupped his hands over his mouth, as if about to whisper.

"I do the hallucinations," he hissed, as if it were the greatest secret in the world. Afterward, he cupped his hands, forming a triangle with his thumbs and index fingers. Upon removing his hands, a faint triangular symbol lingered, swiftly metamorphosing into a solitary blue butterfly. It fluttered briefly, only to be abruptly dispersed by Vědmák as he waved his hand through it, causing it to dissipate into the air like smoke. "Not real. See?" A proud expression graced his countenance, which faded away when he was questioned about his name.

"Oh! It is.." He trailed off, pondering for a moment. An annoyed look soon appeared, causing him to turn his head towards Sevo like an owl. "Sevo." Trying to get the attention of his friend, he waved his hand. "ᚺᛟᚹ ᛞᛟ ᛁ ᛊᚨᛁ ᛗᛁ ᚾᚨᛗᛖ ᛁᚾ ᛖᛜᛚᛁᛊᚺ?" Awaiting for a response, his eyes lit up when it suddenly hit him. 'Vědmák Ohexis. That is right.' Realizing it was a mouthful, he continued. 'Vědmák is sufficient. And you? You a.. Katie? Or maybe Steve..?' What names did humans even possess? He truly wasn't sure.

When the topic of murder and world domination came up, Vědmák's ears perked up, his fur bristling. 'No,' he firmly declared, shaking his head vigorously. "Tried that once. Started wars. No more." He paused, only to resume as if nothing happened. "Kings fell. Read in archives. Famous." Waving her off, he released a huff. Was he in the history books? Perhaps, though he wasn't entirely certain of the details, and honestly, he preferred not to delve into it.

Ananth
Earth Dragon | New Dragon | Male | Mentions: Kavik
Indirectly Mentions: Rhyhor, Mariana, Others

The dragon blinked at the human, his head tilted curiously. He listened to the sound of the human talking, clearing his throat, and then talking again. Quietly, the reptile hummed, a soft noise that rumbled through the air more than it was audible. Slowly, he pushed himself up to his full height rather than crouching, tilting his head to peer out of the forest towards the Storm Dragon and the human it had taken.

"He has not eaten her yet," he said after a moment, lowering himself back to the ground, turning his full attention back to the human, blinking his large eyes. "So I would guess a bond. He does not seem the type to play with his food," Ananth said, gently pushing one of his forepaws into the dirt, focusing on it for a moment to get a reading of where every dragon around them was.

At the humans next words, the Earth Dragon found his tail twitching, and he took a few moments to properly study his new bond. The human seemed to have a few scars with dark hair, but his eyes seemed almost similar to Ananth's own in colour. Curious, the dragon leaned slightly closer, head angled to peer at the humans face.

"I am Ananth," he said after a few heartbeats of silence. He studied the human for a few moments more, before his senses caught onto something through the ground. Leaning away from the human man, Ananth whipped his head back around towards the gathering, lips peeling back from his teeth as he crouched closer to the ground.

He felt what could only be parts of a tree hitting the ground, and then a physical tremble forced its way through his legs as another dragons tail smashed into the ground. He and his own bond were far enough away to not be in direct danger, but the Earth Dragon moved his head slightly to peer through the trees, hoping to get a visual on what was actually happening.

He watched the Fire Dragon do its display, and others leap into action as it set its own rider on fire. Rather than show disapproval, as he spied others doing, the Earth Dragon looked back at his human. "I will not do anything like that," he said. "But my body hurts now, his tail hitting the ground was.. forceful," he added, voice dropping to a mutter, as if primarily talking to himself.

K'issuk Rán
Water Class || Mentor || Female || Mentions: Kaia, Beollán

She stood her ground, the steam lingering from the previous event causing beads of moisture to gather on her scales. Her chest rose and fell, mostly due to how close of a call it was. Had she been delayed even seconds, there was no knowing what the outcome could have been. This was the primary reason for K'issuk's silent snarl, her muzzle wrinkled and her tail battering the ground to the extent of leaving dents. Her head was tilted slightly, allowing her right eye to remain plastered on the distant figure of Kaia.

'When I warn you to stay back,' she hissed, speaking to Kaia. 'you heed it. I don't issue warnings for fun.' She ridiculed him, nostrils flaring in disdain. 'What was your thought process? Had I not intervened in time, what then? That was a foolish move, Kaia. You were a fool.' Tail continuing to smack into the ground, a series of small hisses escaped her gills before she finally drew in a deep breath, exhaling sharply. 'How is the girl?' Her tone had lessened in terms of harshness, though it remained tense.

Attention returning to this Beollán the Skycleaver, K'issuk observed him, her mouth parting slightly to cool herself down. Raising her head upon hearing his words regarding his rider, and how he could have swallowed her, K'issuk merely blinked. "But you didn't," she responded, remaining still as a gust of hot air was blown onto herself and the surrounding area, her frills folding back due to the intensity. "You're a little early when it comes to attempted murder. Others normally wait until their first flight." Her tone remained neutral, her figure lowering in response to Beollán's actions, mirroring him.

The smell of fear plagued her senses, causing a bitter taste to linger on her tongue. She watched as the fire dragon slid to his stomach, his front legs crossing over one another as if he hadn't just attempted to set his rider and half the valley ablaze.

"Why do they call you that?" She suddenly asked once he admitted that he was indeed the dragon from the history books. K'issuk knew little about him, simply minor details, and certainly not his history besides the fact that he lost his first rider -- a girl, though her name could not be recalled. "To earn a name such as that, you must have been formidable." Her words were meant to distract him, changing the topic to break down the tension, however, there were parts of her that was genuinely curious. Few dragons received names such as those, let alone were as well-known. So, she continued, eyes staring at him and awaiting a response.

Ahura De Meuvis
New Rider | Male | Mentions: Sevo, Skylar, & Aalis
The young male gave a sort of frown at the words of the Dark Dragon before him. He was not going to like this sebum stuff, and he gave a defeated sigh - but at hearing Skylar laugh at him ; he gave a mock gasp of offense, and then wiping just a smidge off, he dotted some on her cheek playfully with a snicker of his own. Looking at the dragon before him, he gave a mild expression - before beginning to speak, "Oh, thats good - I just want to make sure that you're comfortable during this experience. Also, I don't do go with physical touch, so could you warn me next time. I probably will get useed to it - from you, but I just don't like random people or things touching me ; brings back bad memories." and he murmered the last part a bit lowly and solemly. At the mention of a show ; the boy curiously tilted his head - and cautiously leaned forward, as if looking for this aformentioned "shadow". "Your shadow?" he said a bit confused as he stared at the ground - a bit too seriously for that matter. Could his dragon's shadow take him to hell or something?
But the subject was changed as Sevo asked about his friend and Ahura brightened up almost instantly. "This companion of mine is a dear friend, Skylar Odin" almost at the same time she introduced herself. And he gave her a playful nudge to her but continued, " she is the sunlight and bright, yin to my dark and antisocial ; yang. Even her hair is bright light sunlight - it's so golden." he said teasing the curly haired blonde with a fond smile. And he bobbed his head in agreement that any dragon would be lucky to have her. "She is a catch" he agreed.

That's when something marvelous happened. Another dragon appeared ; and this one seeming to be made of light itself. And he couldn't help but gasp in awe at the creature's regal nature. And when she introduced herself and claimed Skylar as her rider, he was bouncing up and down for his friend with a mischevious grin. "What did I tell you, I called it ; you the reincarnation of sunshine being paired with a Light Dragon of all dragons. Your luck is sublime, my dear friend. Oh, this is going to be a very interesting year indeed." he said earnestly, as he looked between her and his dragon with a great smile on his face.

At the sound of chaos, he had to gape as dragon attacked it's rider, his hand covering his mouth in shock. And he felt Skylar reach for his hand and he gave her his own ; squeezing it for reassurance and grounding. But keeping his eyes on the situation as it seemed the Squad Leader and a Mentor were on the scene ; quick as a flash to desclate the scene before it could get any worse and he hd to admire their quickness.

Kavik Forger || New Rider || Dragon: Ananth || M: Ananth, Ind-- Laika, Beollan, K'issuk, Kaia, Mariana, Rhyhor

"Ananth," he repeated, drawing out the syllables and testing the dragon's name on his tongue. It suited him, simple yet strong. Like a well-handled blade passed down generations. After another pause, it occurred to him that he had not yet offered up his own name. "My name is Kavik. Forger."

His head snapped up and over into the woods on the opposite end of where they sat as a series of distressed, aggressive screeches and bellows broke through the steady buzzing coming from the clearing. Kavik heard the distinct sound of wood groaning and trees falling, but the subsequent aftershocks rattled his teeth to the point of a slight ache forming, although that could have been induced by his tightly clenched jaw. Kavik instinctively took a half-step forward as fire spewed from a massive black dragon. Alarm bells were going off in his head, but he knew that he was much too far away to do anything about whatever damage was being done. Hopefully nobody died.

The quick arrival of a deep water dragon and a few humans suggested that more experienced teams had arrived at the scene, and Kavik forced himself to look away as Ananth's voice picked up once more. He grunted his gratitude at the dragon's statement against such violence, though a grimace overtook his features at his bonds additional mutterings.

"I'm still vibrating; I'm sure it's much worse for an earth dragon, and for that I am very sorry," he replied, furrowing his brows. There wasn't much he could do about it, and he certainly wasn't going to approach a dragon as volatile as the black one to fight him on it. He looked over in the direction of Mariana and her dragon just to be sure that the actions of the goliath reptile had not set off a chain reaction with his friend's moody compatriot as well. He could still make out her form, seemingly safe and sound, which allowed him to relax somewhat.

"So, on a different topic... Do you know what a first ride entails? I've never actually stayed at a bonding ceremony long enough to see one. I wasn't really planning on ever having to participate," Kavik rambled. Ugh. His nerves were getting the better of him; the last three minutes had really turned his life plan upside down.

Ilithyia

Fire Dragon | Female | Squad Leader's Dragon | Mentions: (directly) Nico, those in the valley

Ilithiya's eyes narrowed slightly as she fixed her gaze on her rider. Annoyance rippled through her but she quickly regained her poise, her body remaining tense, even if Nico was right. She inclined her head in acknowledgment of the reminder, her eyes reflecting a mixture of determination and restraint. "Of course," she replied, her voice a measured cadence that covered the inner turmoil she felt.

The mention of dragons testing their riders during the First Flight elicited a faint smirk from Ilithiya. "Perhaps I should have tested you more,” she remarked, her tone carrying a hint of teasing. She cast a sidelong glance at the war dragon in question, observing his behavior with a critical eye.

Thiya turned her head towards the two-headed dragoness. She looked at Nico in amusement, didn’t he just lecture her for having a similar reaction to the Dark dragon. “Are you actually afraid of something?” she mocked, using the same words he said to her earlier. “And I thought Nicodemus wasn’t affected by anything or anyone,” she paused as she studied the two-heads. “But, I will agree, I’ve never seen anything like her - them.” They put her on edge much more than the Dark dragon, she covered her nerves with curiosity instead. She didn’t need anymore scolding from Nico.

Ilithiya nodded, watching Nico's descent. Her wings unfurled with a powerful sweep, carrying her aloft into the sky with a grace that matched the authority in her demeanor. As she descended, her presence alone seemed to carve out a space of command, forcing a respectful distance between the onlookers and the current situation. Or maybe they were scared another Fire dragon was going to light them all on fire.

Standing before the large crowd, the dragonness seemed to radiate under the sun's rays, the hues of her scales shifting and swirling as if molten lava coursed beneath them. A gentle exhale of steam flowed from her nostrils, her long elf-ears pressed flat against her head. With a sinuous motion, Ilithiya lifted her head high, her two lengthy, ebony horns appearing to absorb the same sunlight that set her scales ablaze.

"I am Ilithiya, your Squad Leader, along with my rider, Nicodemus," she announced, her voice cutting through the tension like a blade. The combination of authority and reassurance in her tone aimed to provide a sense of stability amid the chaos. Ilithiya's declaration hung in the air, and her red eyes scrutinized the reactions of those assembled. The tension in the clearing was palpable, and the burning dragoness remained vigilant, her guard raised to its highest. Every flicker of emotion, every subtle movement, did not escape her discerning gaze.

Acknowledging the incident, she addressed the gathered crowd, "As many of you have observed, there has been an incident. We need you all to move back to give us space." Her tone held no room for argument as her gaze shifted briefly to the prone figure of the injured rider.

Ilithiya's eyes glowed with intensity as Nicodemus' voice filled her head. "If there are dragons here who can help heal or aid this rider, please step forward." The call for assistance echoed in the air. Her fiery aura, both literal and metaphorical, radiated a bit more as she spoke. With a measured gaze, she awaited any response from the dragons in the vicinity, her attention unwavering and her instincts finely tuned to the dynamics of the unfolding situation.

Despite her having a passionate personality that comes out in her private interactions with Nico, in her role as Squad Leader, she exudes a disciplined and composed demeanor. The transition between the private and public facets of her personality was seamless, a testament to the depth of her training and the ingrained sense of responsibility that defined her. Leadership was a mantle that Ilithiya wore with practiced ease. Her ability to compartmentalize emotions and wield authority with precision showcased not only her strength as a dragon but also her prowess as a leader.
