Emrys(Unicorn)|Snapped Raider|Bond:Leha Stephans Emrys nostrils flared with a snort sending mist swirling as the humid air surrounding them collected upon his opalescent white coat. Deep purple colored eyes peeking through his pitch black mane that whipped around him in the fast paced winds. He stood near his new companions at their encampment. The massive wolf like hellhound nearby watching them all sending shivers down his spine. The other two equines a Kelpie and a Pegasus he hadn't talked to much yet saving his energy during their travels. He definitely avoided the groups dragon. Much too used to hiding from them hunting from overhead. Choosing to stay near his new bond and avoiding the other humans. He rarely had been around them prior to deciding to go to the last bonding ceremony. He had been to young to enter but something had called him there a chilling voice in his head with a promise of chaos. • Once they had left a bit of destruction and raiding behind he had allowed the female to put a saddle on him a new strange thing to him. His tail flicked as a part of him remembered how itchy the contraption had felt. Leha was his human bond and the very young male unicorn was still getting used to having to look out for someone other than himself. Emrys normal skittish self since the snapping had been replaced by a fierce protective side. His hooves stamped the ground hunger pains hitting him as his mind raced over the last weeks events. Leaning down to graze a bit on the grass around the area. Finding some berrys he used his amethyst shard looking horn to send a handful to the ground. I wonder when we will start moving again I miss the forests. Edited at July 7, 2022 03:03 PM by Ravensrun

Calamity(Hellhound)|Seeker|Bond:Kavik Forger|M:seeker beasts only reposting her image with my first post for her Hearing the snap of jaws and a yawn from the distance sending birds flying from the sparse tree lines they camped in. The massive hellhound refocused on her task at hand. She had snuck off an hour or so before first light and had tracked down her target. "There you are" she thought spotting the large herd of plains deer. Smaller than the stags and deer of the forests. The okapi like deer grazed absentmindedly no idea what was about to befall them. Within the shadowy realm her kind could enter she watched waiting. At the snap of a twig nearby from the largest of the deer she was on it. Razor sharp claws scoring the ground as she appeared next to the creature from the shadows of the large brush next to it. Her long saber like canines sinking through the beast neck sending him to the ground without so much as a bleat. • Alerted the herd started to bolt but she was quick. Calamitys double pair of flame red eyes focusing on everything around her. Her next target was a limping female okapi; it froze as she jumped infront of it. A hyenaesque laugh resonated from between her massive skull crushing jaws as it too met its fate. Enjoying the hunting enrichment. Cala had recently bonded with the human male Kavik. He was a loner and quiet but she sensed the iron in his will when she chose him. Like called to like. Since the bonding she hadn't gotten to do much hunting. Due to the fact that they had been selected to go hunt down a pack of freshly bonded humans and their beasts that had somehow gone beserk. She wasn't sure what had happened but they had been tasked with ending the pillaging and figuring out how to stop the cause. • "Breakfast" was all she mentally projected to the other beasts in the encampment as she dropped the two deer she clenched in her teeth by the burnt out fire from the night. Her massive form dropped into a sitting position as she began cleaning the blood from her claws. Shadows still clinging to her like fine black mist. Edited at July 7, 2022 11:58 AM by Ravensrun

Leha Stephans || Female || Snapped Raider || 19 Years || Beast: Emrys || Faolain Tribe || M: Emyrs (Ref), Asteria (Ref), Shiva (Ref), Luminis (Ref), Open Blasted wind. Dark brown hair lashed furiously in front of purple eyes, filled with pointless rage. The follicles bashed against her light-tan skin – stinging her face like the tentacles of a jellyfish – but left no mark. The girl was not used to such weather. The trees of her homeland broke such winds, slowing them down a great degree. However, out here – where only the occasional rock formations birthed from the earth – the gusts were given free rein. With enough flat ground, these gales could become devastating. Thankfully, for both her and the group, one of the aforementioned rocky formations was now providing them some shelter. The Faolain girl, however, was currently outside of the pillar's protection, taking the full blast of the shredded gale – which was now dubbed the bane of her present existence. Sure, the hair was annoying, but having the hood of her cloak pushed down was infuriating. (No matter how hot she got, she never took off the cloak. She felt vulnerable without it can’t stand showing off her eyes in public. After all, that’s what caused her treatment back at “home”). The group she was with was a rather interesting bunch – having a good variety of beast species, ranging from dragons to equines to hellhounds. The assortment of humans, however, was rather lacking. Most originated from the Djali Tribe. Fitting, considering it was supposedly the first tribe to be attacked. Leha thankfully was the only Faolain of the group. If there was another human from her tribe in the group… The gentle shake of her head clears her thoughts, not wishing to delve much further into them. Maybe just… focus on the camp and current group members, for now. Emyrs, her beast, was the closest being to her. His purple eyes – reflecting her own – were intently staring at the area he grazed, using his shard-like horn to knock down some berries. Leha was very uncertain about the unicorn at first. He was so young, maybe too young. She didn’t know how he got in, or how they even bonded in the first place. Though, she supposed that it was too late for any of that now. They were bonded, and nothing could change that. At least, they had some common ground. At the moment, the opal-coated unicorn was seemingly bothered by their fellow camp-mates, especially the keen hellhound they called leader. Said hellhound – a ginormous, intimidating inky-black wolf-like creature – was watching the group with her piercing yellow eyes while her bonded, Shiva, scouted the area from above. Her gaze was intimidating and caused the strange girl to feel rather uncomfortable whenever it landed on her. Catching that gaze with her own was even worse. She couldn’t stare at those eyes for longer than a few seconds. Though, the one that disturbed her the most was not the monstrous hellhound. Nor her own young beast. Nay. It was the looming dragon, perched on a somewhat shadowy edge of the rock formation. Her scales were a shade of black she had never seen – not as pure as Asteria’s, but just as dark. If not for the slight iridescent shine, the Faolain girl would assume that the dragon was the dark part of the shadows. Her face was even more intimidating – a set of large teeth set outside of her maw, and lining the entirety of it. The beast easily towered over every being in camp and was almost nothing but muscles. However, she was still a beautiful creature – one couldn’t deny that. From her fades to the milky way-wings, her elegance matched – if not made up for – her devilish appearance. The girl honestly couldn’t take her purple eyes off the beast. Whether it was her beauty or… something else, she couldn’t tell. Yet, the scariest part of the dragon also came from her gaze. Not from its intensity, but the malicious emotions in them. The hue of gold separated by indigo specks carried no sympathy. No kindness. No compassion. No respect or fear. What fueled her gaze was a lust for control. A lust for bloodshed. And it was staring right back at her. Oh sh- Edited at July 7, 2022 03:42 PM by High Hills Pack

Skya Finds // Female // Snapped // Mentions: Open . +The sun shining on her pale skin made her shine, sparkling with the little glitter that attached to her. Her crystal blue eyes seen scanning the terrain she walked along, her long limbs easily closing distance. Her long dark brown hair flowing in the wind behind her. A small smile still on his lips+ . "What a beautiful day, though it's a little hot...I wonder when the next lake is+ . +Thinking aloud was a habit to the female even if no one was listening to her voice. Shaking her head with a smile she stops walking and scans the large hot and muddy field beside her, her eyes soft, gentle, but cold. The personality's of someone on the run if she thinks about it more. Letting out a sigh she closes her eyes enjoying the cool but hot breeze blow across her face+ . "I miss my tribe...but I guess this way there is an adventure around every corner you turn" . +Blowing a strand of hair out of her face she opens her eyes back up, they flicker with a sparkle in the sun. Night time was always the female's favourite time, cold, dark, and mysterious. Looking ahead she despises if she should just run off and adventure on her own+

Cairo || Unicorn || Seeker || M: Theo, Open The massive, blue-tinged form looked rather peaceful at the moment with his head was at a low angle, electric blue eyes half narrowed, and relaxed ears. A whiplike tail moved into a regular horsehair one halfway down, and this appendage was flicking back and forth lazily. The creature's protruding fangs gritted against his lower canines as he chewed at the twiggy branch closest to him. There was not much in the way of elegant foods out in the borderlands, and grass stuck to his sabres in the most irritating way. So, woody plants it was. Cairo snorted into his meal at the thought of anything more dull in flavor. Ah, well; soon, they would head into civilization for supplies. Maybe he would manage to steal some fruits from one of the orchards, or even a street vendor. Or perhaps his bond would be so kind as to get them for him... legally. A sneaky glance was sent up at the back of Theo's frame. The young man was turned away from everyone, contemplating-- or pretending to be. Cairo knew how much his human hated being forced into things, and yet here they were, pushed into a group of complete strangers with no leads and few supplies. This whole thing felt extremely rushed. Cairo had been bonded for, what, two years now? Something like that. Never had he imagined something this bizarre happening in his lifetime, or at all. Yet, it had happened, and because of it, him and Theo were stuck parading around after a group of lunatics. The large unicorn sighed and, with one final swallow of the pathetic plants, he headed over to Theo's side. Cairo had never respected Theo's personal space or desire to be alone; he wasn't about to start doing so today. "Mulling over the secrets of the universe?" he rumbled as he came to a halt. His eyes danced with the mischief found in an older sibling's face as they hound their younger brothers and sisters. Cairo looked out over the landscape in the direction Theo had been, and then he chuffed, "It's hot."

Theo Black // Seeker member // Male / Mentions: Cairo, Open . +Hearing the approaching foot steps on the ground, he smiles warmly as they begin to sound farmiler. Turning his head he looks towards the blue tinged beast, a magestic horn sitting on top of its head. A beast the male knew all to well, the beast he was bonded with for two years and hopefully many more to come, if this chase game comes to an end with a happy ending+ . "Mulling over the secrets of the universes" . +The rumble from the beast says as it comes to a vault beside him, personally space not a option. Turning his attention back to the landscape ahead of him he nods softly, a smile still plastered on his lips. It felt nice to be alone with the unicorn, to not be bothered by drama and other things. Moving his hair from his face he giggles+ . "Actually I was thinking about running off, though then they will think that I have turned...plus I can't leave a softie like you alone" . +Soft, gentle, and playful can all be heard when the male speaks as he nudged the beast beside him softly to get his point across. Leaning back he flips onto the ground with a huff before he looks up at the clear blue rays of the sky. Easing a hand he spreads his fingers watching as the sun hides behind his hand though seeping though his fingers+ . "Just me and you, get out of here and run off. Live the life we want to with out any drama" . +He knows his wish will not be coming true for the while but the desire in his heart harmed for that one wish...to be free. Closing his green eyes he lets out a soft sigh lowering his hand onto his stomach his legs still crossed as he does. His dirty blond hair still swaying slightly in the wind+

Sorren(Djali)|Lead Seeker|Bond:Onyx|M:Onyx,Calamity,Kavik,open
Seeing everyone more or less awake; especially now with his dear friends tremendous yawn. Chuckling mentally sending his amusement at the antics of the golden beast. Meeting Onyx quicksilver gaze. "You just love messing with them dont you" He leaned against the many coils the fire drake rested upon. His own honey colored eyes shot to the sound of something being dropped nearby. • The massive hellhound bonded to their groups blacksmith had returned it seemed with some food for the beasts. He could see from here that female had caught some okapi deer. "Onyx ask them to wait to eat I want to skin those first we could use the hide." He was not one to waste something that could go to use. The desert taught an individual to waste nothing. Walking over to the kills a shiver went down his back. The only mark on them was the two large canine holes in the neck of the deer. Meaning the hellhound had taken them down without damaging the skins but in one place. That took the skill of a well seasoned hunter. He kneeled and saw exactly why she hadn't had to damage more skin. Her long sabor tooth like canines had just been meant to hold on deep. The Okapis necks were completely broken. Every bone. Crushed. As if sensing his thoughts. A bone chilling hyenaesque laugh resounded under the light canopy of trees on the outcropping of plains cliffs they camped on. He looked over at where the beast was resting. She was indeed watching him with both pairs of flame red eyes. He gave a respectful nod appreciation for her skilled kills visable on his face. Even if she scared the shit out of him. • Turning back to his own beast and bedroll looking for his tools. Being a leather worker meant that he had his fair share of preparing kills when the village butcher was away. So he quickly and efficiently went to work. Once the skins were set aside to dry he cut a large piece of meat tossing it in the air behind him for onyx. Leaving the rest of the kill for the other beasts. Sorren washed his hands off with some water out of his pouch before sitting down his back leaned against the scales already warm from the sun. Setting to work on sharping his sword. His weapon of choice a Khopesh. His whetstone was almost spent he realized. I'll. Need to get a new one when we get supplies. Then again maybe the Erren, Kavik had an extra.

Eidrune | Male | Kelpie | Snapped | Second | Bond: Victoria Arpina | M: The Snapped, Victoria It's hot...too hot. Eidrune thought to himself as he reclined on his side with his legs folded underneath. The sun was around its peak and the light was uncomfortable to look at. The kelpie was not used to such dry and hot climates. He had spent his life in deep murky swamps, and this was certainly different from the conditions he thrived in. Eidrune had not seen a single body of water on the route they had taken, and he felt a longing to dive into it once more. Where they were currently positioned, there wasn't even a pond in sight, although thankfully there were some patches of green. Back in the midst of the Djali tribe territory, it was all sand. He still had some sand and small pieces of debris in his mane and tail from the previous three villages the group had raided. Most of it had been shaken off, but some were tangled stubbornly in the strands of hair. After trying in a vain attempt to shake his mane free of a particularly uncomfortable piece of debris, he snorted in annoyance. If he was underwater, it would loosen up easily. The only things that seemed to stick to his mane and tail then were small pieces of seaweed, which he didn't mind at all. It reminded him of the vegetation that surrounded his old home. Now after traveling the desert terrain for some time, none of it remained. It probably came loose in one of the villages they had raided. After all, it was where Eidrune let loose the strange and overwhelming rage that resided in him ever since the Bond Ceremony. It was very odd, but he never gave it much thought. He just accepted the way it enveloped him at every village they reached, turning him into a weapon of rage and destruction that lashed out at everything...and everyone. Everyone that is, except his new bond. Having a bond was something new for Eidrune. He had never experienced such a close connection with anyone. Before the Ceremony, he mainly roamed on his own. Sure, there was the occasional conversation here and there, but the kelpie had never had someone he really connected with. He had always been uncertain about creating stronger bonds with others, which was one of the reasons why he didn't want to go through the Bond Ceremony to begin with. He struggled inwardly against it, but once the bonding was complete, he began to feel different. Even now, he couldn't explain what happened exactly. All he could understand was that a sense of overwhelming power washed over him, erasing his doubts about the bond. He remembered trembling from that rush, his body rippling with that strange destructive power. It wrought such rage in him, and he along with his bond and a group of others wreaked havoc everywhere they could reach. Speaking of that power, Eidrune noticed that whenever he saw or thought of places such as villages, he could feel it well up in him again. It had been the same for every village they passed through. Every time, it had caused him to erupt in fury. Each time, all his thirst and discomfort simply disappeared; there was nothing left but rage. He usually didn't recall much from those moments, and no memories came back continuously. That is, no memories...except one. He remembered it clearly. He was in a Djali tribe village destroying things in his rage when he came across a young kelpie. For some reason, seeing it brought him to a stop, and he had stood still as he gazed at it. Its life was also lost, but every so often the memory would seep in. He hated when it did. It always made him feel kind of...sad. Sad and weak. He hated feeling helpless, and so he would quickly push away the memory as soon as it came. Gazing around at his surroundings, he caught sight of Victoria. It had been about a week since the Bond Ceremony, and he was still not used to having a Bond. She was certainly different from when he first saw her as the Bond Ceremony was beginning. At the time, she seemed quiet, calm, and very shy. Now, a wildness had been born in her, a wildness that he both respected and admired. His respect for her had grown day by day, as well as his affection. However, affection was far more difficult to grow and express than respect. This was natural for him. His species tended to be more aloof, and he was no exception. All his life he had been more of a loner, an outsider to the rest of the world, but he never cared. He was used to the walls that closed him off from the rest of the world. That is, until the day it was torn open. The day he met his Bond.

Onyx || Fire Dragon || Male || Lead Seeker Beast || 149 Years || Human: Sorren || M: Tukaii, Cairo (Ref), Theo (Ref), Sorren, Calamity (Ref), All Seeker Beasts (Ref), Pygmy (Ref) “Good morning to you too, Tukaii,” Onyx chuckles lightheartedly, keeping his gaze on the beasts of the camp. He took no notice of anything peculiar amongst them. He did, however, spy Cairo and Theo wandering a bit far from the main camp. Not that he minded, though. As long as they didn’t ditch the group, he was fine with them being on their own for a few. Silver-tinted eyes flicker to the flaming bird as he gets his mind back on the interaction at hand. “My apologies for disturbing your roost. If I had known you were above me, I would have been more careful.” A call from Sorren takes his attention away from his fellow beast once more. Well, a call and a weight as the aforementioned human was now leaning against his coils. Stretching his head neck down, the dragon lowers his head next to his bonded – slightly angled so he could still keep a good eye on him.“Of course. Though that wasn’t… entirely on purpose,” a small, “menacing” grin makes its way to Onyx’s maw – sharp teeth glinting in the sun’s light. Yet again, the dragon’s short attention span is stolen as a thud rings through the camp along with the call for breakfast. Calamity – a large, hyena-like hellhound – had just come back from a hunting trip. One that Onyx didn’t even know she was on. Black mist still wafted off the hide as she cleaned herself of blood. Two okapis now resided by the remains of their previous fire, thanks to her. Just the smell of them caused his stomach to rumble and drool to form in. However, he refrained himself. The others should eat before me. They’ll need their strength. I’ll catch my own prey when on the move if nothing is left. A request came from Sorren. A simple but wise request. Upon it, the serpent raised his head and let out a bellowing roar to call the attention of all hungry beasts in camp. The ground and nearby trees shook from this mighty sound, causing many flocks of birds to take to the skies. “Leave the food for now! We’ll need their hides!” The golden-brown beast watches his fellow creatures intently as Sorren works. He did not know them well enough to trust them completely, even if he is leading them. Well, except for Tukaii. He knew he could trust his second. A sudden piece of meat is tossed his way. Onyx caught the very end of it with a rather soft grasp. Gingerly, he places the chunk on his coils in case anyone was still hungry after their meal. Out the corner of his eye, the large beast spots his fellow serpent – Pygmy – cringing at the sight of the meat. He knew that Pygmy had a preference for smaller game and plants – especially coconuts – but he never expected the young one to have a distaste towards such a meal. He makes a mental note to get the amphithere something else to eat before turning back to watch the camp.

Kavik Forger || Seeker || M: Calamity, Sorren and Onyx (Ind), Tukaii (Ind), Open Soft, pudgy toddler hands traced Kavik's facial features, running around his eyes and along the sides of his nose. Big brown eyes stared down at him, set in a round face framed by wild, wavy, dark hair. A small chuff was released from the little girl's nose, and she blew out a breath in such a way that her little lips vibrated like a snorting horse's nostrils. "Kavik, yo' nose is wee-yode," she announced. She emphasized her opinion with a firm jab of her finger which caused him to scrunch up his face. Taking her little hand in his own larger one, Kavik asked, "And how's that, huh?" Dark eyebrows knit together and his child companion responded, "You have a bump!" The young man's face split into a grin as he brought his own digits to the bridge of his nose, where there was indeed a bump. It had broken long ago; Savi wouldn't have remembered that. However, he'd already explained this much to her, and she refused to accept that something as squishy as a nose could be broken. Too soft, she would say. A look of seriousness crossed Savi's features. It was as though a dark cloud had just covered the sun that had lit up her eyes, and she tilted her head down a pinch. In a whisper, she mumbled, "You need to wake up." "I am awake--" Kavik had not meant to say that out loud. Snapped from his daydream, the young man looked down at a pile of shredded wood in his hands and at his feet. A few of the curled chips were stained with blood, and it was then that he noticed several cuts and splinters now decorating his palms. The stick that he had been holding was nothing more than a sandwich spear now, and the dulled knife in his right hand had begun to nearly catch his fingers. Kavik grimaced and stood, placing the knife inside a leather sheath and shaking out his hands. As he began picking wooden shards from his hands, he glanced up to study those around him. Onyx was speaking with the lovely phoenix, Tukaii. It seemed Kavik had caught sight of the end of their encounter, as the dragon moved off shortly thereafter to engage briefly with Sorren before moving on to the other beasts. It seemed Kavik's own bond, the impressive and intimidating Calamity, had had a successful hunt. The beasts were hungry, and Kavik felt a pang of guilt for not having offered his companion some of the dried jerky he'd been stashing. Of course, what would sustain him would barely be a crumb to her, and that made things a little difficult. He sighed softly and made his way over to the hyena-like creature. Now that he was back in reality, away from all his wants and dreams, he figured he should accompany Calamity. Perhaps she could take his mind off the memories.
