Night | M: Phantom, Kestrel "Did you think Falcon deserved someone better?" Phantom said and Night looked at him. "You made her happy, that's what matters. Anyone who could make that girl happy deserves her. I'm glad that she chose someone that she loved and I'm proud to call you partner." Night said, using the gang language for brother. He knew Phantom had been in the gang only because of Falcon but he should know that word. It was used a lot. Falcon had been his partner and he had her back. Now, Phantom would be his partner and he will have his back and protect the daughter. That would never change.

Sky | M: Malaki Sky smiled as she saw the thumbs up before backing up another step. Running forward, she took off smoothly, soaring up towards the clouds. The flight would be a bit long but she was going to be riding the draft streams. As Flame like to call them, the wingbreak gliders. Flying up, she felt the pull of the jetstreams pulling her multiple ways before she chose the south one. At first, they went at a breakneck speed before she curved her wing, spiraling up. Taking the draft up, they suddenly seemed to be hanging in air, a beautiful gentle wind blowing them along.
Sky dipped her wings slightly, taking them into a slightly faster draft, her wings slicing through the clouds before she looked down. The angle of the sun mad it almost a perfect view. Below her, she could see tiny dots of the houses below and twig like trees. Low clouds obscured some of the view of the lake but cast the shadows upon the land in a graceful way. "Look down Malaki, its a beautiful view." Sky said gently, turning her head to look at Malaki. "We can talk now that we are in the draft streams. It might take about half an hour for us to get there at this rate, about ten minutes if we used the jetstreams." She said, using the nice words for the wind drafts so she wouln't scare him.

Malaki: Mentions: Sky Malaki looked around directly to his right and left and up above, but opted, at the moment anyway, to not look down, his fear of heights ever looming and needing a reason to set off. "Look down Malaki, its a beautiful view." Sky said gently, turning her head to look at him. He bit his lip and was about to reject her, but he decided to go for it and looked down, but even though the view was beautiful, his fear kicked in and he quickly looked back up, a little shaken from how far up he was. "I... I don't think I'll be doing that again." He murmured. Malaki looked back at Sky as they flew and he smiled at her, but the smile faded when he realized what would happen when all was said and done: they would go back to their respective homes... or lack thereof in Malaki's case. "Hey... Sky? I know that this is goign to sound like a really strange question but... do you think that I could possibly crash at your place after all of this is behind us? I don't exactly have a place to live back at the city... if you catch my drift."

Phantom I M: Kestral and Night
Phantom's eyes studied Night as he spoke and told him he wanted to be his partner. It was a big gesture, something he was not expecting from the man. He expected him to be mad at him honestly, he should've been there to protect Falcon, not let her die. He still could never erase that pain he felt when he saw her dead, or how his world crashed so badly after that. His grip tightened on his child, detemined not to let anyone hurt her. "I will do the same for you. I will do my best not to let you down." He said, looking at Night. "I will not let you down like I did Falcon."

Sky | M: Malaki Sky tilted her head, letting out a chuckle as Malaki said he wasn't going to do that again. Note, never have Malaki ride Flame. "Hey... Sky? I know that this is goign to sound like a really strange question but... do you think that I could possibly crash at your place after all of this is behind us? I don't exactly have a place to live back at the city... if you catch my drift." Malaki said, his smile fading. Sky let out a laughing roar before twisting her head back to him, "Crash at my place? What place? I go wherever the winds take me. Been wanting to do a world round trip, see all those landmarks." She went silent for a moment before saying, "I don't exactly have a place myself. Once all of this blows over, I don't know where I'm going to go. I might uh 'crash' at Flame's place for a bit before I go on a trip. To wherever I feel like it. Or wherever you want to go?" She looked hopefully back at Malaki, not wanting to lose him.

Night | M: Phantom, Kestrel "I will do the same for you. I will do my best not to let you down. I will not let you down like I did Falcon." Phantom said and Night softened. "You didn't let Falcon down," he said simply. He knew how the man felt, he blamed himself sometimes for not being there in time for Falcon. Night let out a breath, he had not been there for his partner when she needed him the most. He would not make the same mistake again.

Malaki: Mentions: Sky Oh... right. Sky said that she did like to travel everywhere, so it wouldn't make sense to plant roots in one spot. Malaki looked at the passing clouds before turning back to Sky. "I wouldn't mind touring the world. There are a bunch of different places I would love to visit, and now that you entered my life, I now have the means to do so... if you don't mind having a travel buddy along for the ride." His smile returned and he was happy once again, and finally Benny was shutting up for once and letting him enjoy the moment.

Phantom I M: Kestral and Night
Phantom Shook his head. He had let her down. Kid let her down by dying. He had lag behind her and she had gotten killed. It was a simple as that. He was a horrible husband to her. He couldn't even understand why she chose him in the first place. "if I would've been there with her, she wouldn't have died." he said sadly. "or maybe I would've died instead, that would be better for Kestrel." Phantom let out a sigh, rubbing his daughters back gently to reassure himself that at least some part of falcon was still living. He walked along, hoping to get to the kitchen soon so he could get his child a snack.

Night | M: Phantom, Kestrel, Arlin & Ghost Lily(ind)
"If I would've been there with her, she wouldn't have died. or maybe I would've died instead, that would be better for Kestrel." Phantom said and Night shook his head. "The child needs you more than you know. If it was Falcon here and not you, she still wouldn't be talking. With grief of losing you. Being a father is just as important as being a father." Night said as they rounded a corner and came into the kitchen. Flame's daughter was nowhere in sight, but neither was her father. He supposed that they had gotten lunch and she was down for a nap.

Malaki: Mentions: Sky "I would love the company," She said, flicking an ear back at him. "Although, you would have to get used to flying," she said with a laugh. Malaki laughed, a bit nervously but a laugh nonetheless, and smiled at her. "I think I would be able to adapt to this, as long as we aren't in danger and you're the one flying me different places." He said, relaxing a bit in the saddle and looking around at the different fluffy clouds that lazily made their way through the sky. As he did, his mind began to wander back to the time he was within the facility inside that large room. All of those experiments and all of those powerful people trapped inside one room and yet, he felt like he didn't belong with any of them. He was the weakest out of the bunch, and even though his primal fear could do some damage, when that weapon was no longer available... what did he have? Frantic Dash? He could run really fast for a minute or so but beyond that he would be blown up and he'd suffer for it nine times out of ten. His ability to shift into a werewolf? Sure it helped him in his fight against Glory, however if he didn't have the full moon there was a strong chance that she would have beaten him like a drum before he could get out of the gate. All of his power hinged on conditions and rules that were out of his control, and as such he didn't feel like a big threat, especially when compared to others. He looked down at his shoes and jeans, a face covered with thoughts of worth and if he was actually supposed to escape from Ibex when on paper he should have been the first killed.
