alright, Granted, this doesn't really have a plot or anything. It's mostly for character interaction (right now) between pirates. Maybe little events and whatnot. Pfft.

The breeze danced lightly in his hair, tossing the strands up and down. His icy blue eye scanned along the stars overhead, taking in a breath of a slightly crisp and cool night air.

This was a lovely night.

The smile drew over his lips, a sly grin that he wore as he leapt forward from the platform, catching a rope to swing down to a lower platform. His boots clacked lightly as he landed, looking over the mingling crew. Home.

What a beautiful crew.

And he enjoyed every single member. And their dragons. Normally, he'd pester Velyran... but the beast was dozing high up on the roof, out of reach.

So he'd find someone else to pester. It couldn't be that hard. Right?

Sneeze.
-
"Shut up."
-
She gave him an indignant look, which was to be expected. He knew he couldn't tell her what to do, no matter what he thought he could do. His dumbass would probably still try, though. He'd get his head bitten off one of these days, but, hey.
-
The dragon lay with her body tight, fitting barely into the dining area that was meant really only for the people and not for the dragons to join them, but it was closer to the kitchens anyway and he didn't feel like carrying the strips of.. space meat? What the hell was this? He sniffed it. Smelled like stars. Whatever, it wasn't rotten, and it wasn't making her throw up, so it was good.
-
She sneezed again, and Dallas nearly fell off of her head. "Hey!" He protested, first in Human, but then growled (in very bad wordage) "Stop moving!".
-
Javalasii stopped, but let out an annoyed snort. He took that as his cue to continue slipping the meat carefully between her jaws, avoiding the razors he felt poking up from her fur.
-
Then there was a noise.
-
Dallas didn't hear it. But maybe it was a space dolphin in the distance, or a skag - he didn't know, but either way, Java was up, and Dally let out a squeak, clinging to her horns as she stalked out of the dining hall with a string of meat hanging over her head.

It was really getting too far into the evening for this kind of nonsense - how the dragons were still racing around with such energy was a complete mysterious to Vasilios. Ushering Urchin out of the way to avoid any further damage from the spiny, excitable creature, he gestured towards the examination table. His metallic hands clicked and hummed softly as they moved, a constant buzz that accompanied Vasilios wherever he went.

"Sit down, shirt off, let's see what we're workin' with." Came Vasilios's typical, straight-forward tone. "I won't watch 'cha if you're funny about it." He added, casually.

Getting thrown around by the dragons wasn't exactly atypical; he kept a well stocked supply of ice packs for this exact reason. He turned his back to Mylo, instead crouching down to rummage through the freezer to find a suitably sized ice pack and something to wrap it in. Huffing to himself, he pulled out one to examine - not at all pleased to see the sharp tooth marks scattered across the surface.
"Bloody dragons..." he muttered, resisting the urge to roll his eyes.

Yutaka's stomach growled. He ignored it.

Honestly, who would waste time eating when there was so much more interesting stuff to do, like this engine? He looked at it once more, hands coated with grease and whatnot, before turning around and rummaging for something.

(the following names are borrowed from a sci-fi book I recently read lol)

The engine, Quantum Singularity Hyperflux Induction Drive model X7, hummed quietly in the background as he withdrew his vaccuum pipe and reached deep inside the engine to figure out what exactly was it doing.

He had a report to file after this. Something was up with this girl. Not that, or that, or - ah. The coherence regulator. Yutaka yanked it out, the little heart-sized device that regulated the engine's fluid balances, and instantly regretted it as oil squirted the font of his tunic in protest.

Ignoring the wet (and oily) stain, he stuck the vaccuum pipe into where the coherence regulator was, which began pumping out a steady stream of oversaturated oil condensate. Exactly what the engine was running on - and apparently they just needed a new coherence regulator, else it'd become unbalanced again.

Great. Like they had a spare. The mixture was running down his arms, and Yutaka carefully placed the coherence regulator - Boze-Einstein model 92P - on the floor, where it vibrated slightly of it's own accord. Standing up and making his way to the washbasin in the corner that had been installed - really, while the others might cringe at oversaturated oil condensate, it was harmless, wasn't it? - he let the water run over his arms, letting all the liquid go down the drain.

Sighing, he turned the tap off, dried his arms on his pants - too bad he couldn't do anything about the new big black blot on his tunic until it got washed - and strode briskly out of the engine bay, casting around to find someone important enough to find him a new Boze-Einstein coherence regulator. It was pretty important, after all.
