That doesn't surprise me, even rotties I've seen. Not many, but there are some. Most of the negative myths surrounding pits and such are because of the dogs that were abused, neglected, or used in dog fights. Gives the entire breed a bad rep

Almost any dog can do a job if it's trained right. Labs, goldens, german shepards, even Pitties and malinois, I've personally met a Doberman Pincher who was a cardiac alert dog. Many breeds have been trained for those jobs but some of them just arent in the media

pitties where never used as nanny dogs, thats a common myth lol

It really is sad. I work in a vet hospital and I've had more huskies, Dalmatians, and chihuahuas try and take my face off than anything else, but I've never seen any legislation about them.

Such sweet dogs, all they want is love, snuggles, and sometimes a sweater

banning dogs is the dumbest thing

i thought service dogs had to be generally working breeds? like poodles, labs etc or maybe the criteria for blind dogs are much different?

Same, it's so unbelievably unfair and cruel. Like, it's hard for me to even fathom how someone could do that. Pitties used to be the "All American Dog" and were even used as nannys.

That's adorable! In highschool I actually did a series of speeches about Breed Specific Legislation and how unfair/cruel it was

A quiet arua of a church-like building bring your atention to it. You open the grand doors of the building, stepping inside. Rows and rows of books greet you, along with a panda, who is walking towards you. "Hello. I'm Tulip, the librarian." She says quietly, fixing her little pink glasses. "I have more handbooks than what Frost gave you, along with books about all the myths and legends from Alpine Hills. Want to take a look?"

The wonderful smell of the books covers and pages made Kieran's feathers ruffle up in excitement. Such a place held so much knowledge that he could only ever dream of holding himself one day.
~
Being approached by Tulip, Kieran felt a little intimidated by the panda's size, her form looming over his small frame.
~
He shook his head free of his doubt as he tilted his beak up to meet her gaze as the charms of his mushroom hat jingled a little.
"Hello... I uh. I love what you've created here. It's truly a marvel." He said, trying to find his words properly.
~
"Say. That book there, about the monsters and their weak points. Would you mind letting me have possession of it for a wee while?" Kieran pointed out the book with his feathered wing, his eyes glimmering with excitement.

Tulip nodded her head, smiling. "Of course! I love that your fasinated by the books. I am too, with all the information they hold on so many things. Wait here." She said, walking over to the shelf and grabbing the book with one of her giant paws, padding back over to Kieran. "Here you go. Just 15 Gems will be enough."

Kieran's eyes fixed on the book eagerly as Tulip retrieved it for him. His beak nudged it's way into his small backpack as he pecked out the 15 gems for Tulip before he gripped the book in his talons carefully.
~
After a great deal of trying to haul the book off somewhere close by in the library, Kieran let it lay flat as he opened it, his eyes scanning over the words written in the book, taking in the information, sketches of monsters and other wonderful delights of knowledge it held within.
~
He tapped his beak with a claw idly as he absorbed the words, the charms hanging from his mushroom hat occasionally jingling as his head moved from side to side as he read.

Tulip nodded her thanks as she watches you fly away, before turning back to her work.
