She stared, her ears laid back, "Harsh much..." She sighed as she went to rest, "Maybe she was being to naive?" She thought. She rested her head down as her brother sat down beside her. Her eyes loomed to the she wolf, "Maybe she would stay." She thought as her eyes closed drifting into a deep slumber.

She woke midday in the plains, the air still growing colder as leaf fall began setting in. Lonely howls in the near distance kept her restless but it peaked her intrest. She regretted not responding sooner as now if she wanted to see who the culprit was she would have to find them by scent. She picked herself up while her eyes where still grogy the sunlight somewhat absent today. As she trotted through the grass to find herself someone she noticed that her coat was growing thicker and the usual shed lessened. Everntually she would find a field scattered with dry blood, her eyes widened in horror at the scattered parts of mountian lions. "What the h8ll happened here?' *she followed the trail of blood leading her to the forest and she stopped at the its edge before entering thinking carefully about her next moves. "Perhaps its not very wise to find out what could do something as terrible as that.." *she thought, yet curiosity beckonded her forward* Night was falling again making her nerves stand on end even so more then before. The trail of blood was dwindling to light spatters but its scent fresher.

Relic sighed the moonlight faintly shining into the den. His eyes rested on his sister watching her pelt rise and fall softly. He sat up making sure not to wake his sister as he faded out into the forest. Quietly he trekked through the forest a slope where water could be heard. The water was calm as he slipped down by the creek side, he lapped up some water his eyes peering into the dark forest. His head rose the cold biting at his ears as he watched his surroundings. Slowly he climbed back up the slope the stench of the cougars still lingering. He stalked through the forest a canopy of trees breaking into a circled clearing. The moon shone brightly through the middle, he sat in the middle his snout at the moon. Gracefully his maw parted a rumble in his throat as a swift howl beckoned the forest alerting of his presence. His howl carried on the drifts of his howl as it rang the forest deep with emotion. He sang out his heart to the moon. His snout lowered dipping his head at the moon as he sat to think.

The light breeze of cold wind grew ever slightly carrying her scent on the wind while ruffling the fur on the nape of her neck. Soma trecked futher up the slopes until the bloodtrails where no longer visible. She trecked forward deeper into the forest slinking with her body low to the ground and ears pricked upright and forward. A scragily cliff was in view and the ground around it disturbed by paw steps, she could smell varying scents all merged into one by the plants around the area. She froze as she heard a melodic howl behind her, the same one from the day prior only much clearer and omniously closer than before. Fear was reminating in her belly as she sheepishly picked a spot to hide herself. Unfortunatly there was nowhere great to hide at all as soma scurried to the first place she could find..straight into an occupied den hidden underneath the cliffside.

Fallow rested peacefully unaware of her brothers absence. She slowly flickered her eyes open her vision blurry barely able to make out the wolf in the den. Her body shot up ears pinned and tail tucked her fangs bared in a snarl, "Who are you! And what are you doing in our den!" She growled still taking a submissive yet defensive pose. Her gaze shot across the den her brother was gone and the she wolf seemed knocked out in a deep sleep. Furiously her gaze landed back on the unknown wolf snarling a storm of fear and worry.

Soma yelped with a skittish jump falling backwords onto her hindcourters oblivious that she had just crawled into another wolves den. She had no idea what to say eveything she was doing would just sound suspicious. "Oh! Im sorry i didnt think anyone was in here.." * she stammered tail tucked between legs looking for an excuse or if she should be honest about the fact that she was tracking someone who was likely the wolf she just disturbed. Her eyes wide with shock as she swiftly exited the den kicking up the soft dirt behind her causing a cloud of dust to be suspended around the den entrance. "What in the hell am i supposed to do now?' *she mumbled to herself realizing she had two problems now both self inflicted* "Im Soma!' *she called out to the shewolf hoping for a truice of sorts*

Fallow eyed Soma, "I'm Fallow my brother seems to be missing currently, but besides that why were you in this par of the forest it marked everywhere." She questioned as she sniffed Soma taking in her scent. "You should leave now unless you want to stay..." She mumbled that last part knowing she was too naive to keep thinking about a pack. She calmly sighed as she starred at Soma.

"Your brother? Was that his howl i just-.." * she paused for a moment at Fallows question realizing how foolish her searching was* "I hadnt realized a pack moved in, im my own wolf belonging nowhere yet eveywhere. Though.. my curiosity gets the better of me." * she continued* "I was following the blood trail from the meadow and it led me here, is it you who's hurt?" *she analized Fallow spinning around as she was being sniffed herself then realizing how small the shewolf really was 'Theres no callenger here..its that brother im worried about' *her posture changing from submissive to contemptment

"Stay?" *she asked confused pondering wether or not she was tired of being alone* 'Maybe..it could make an intresting change of pace'

Fallow shook her head, "I'm not hurt its my brother and the she-wolf he saved." She mentioned not catching herself making and her brother vulnerable, "Yes stay it's odd but yes." She added before almost jumping when her brother broke through the bushes, his gaze on Soma. Relics ears were pinned back as he looked at Fallow for answers. "This is Soma she accidentally came into our den, shes no harm." Fallow explained her tail slightly tucked at her brother. Relic stepped forward to the she-wolf inhaling her scent as he calmed, ears no longer pinned. "Well can we help you? Were all loners working on a pack." He boasted pridefully as he waved his tail low to the ground. His eyes loomed over the she wolf taking in her appearance. "I'm Relic I'm sure my sister told you her name." A low woof came from him as he paced back and forth.
