Kodak l Male l Subordinate l M: Open . Kodak slowly awoke, his head heavy and he felt very groggy. He tried to rise, but a throbbed pain of soreness rushed up from his legs. It was then that he realized he was in small box like thing. It took him a moment to take in his surroundings. Kodak was way to big for the crate they had put him in, and his fur got stuck in between the small bars of the cage. It was then that the male realized that the Door was open, and only then did he start to crawl out. As the sunlight hit him through the leafy treetops, his nose was flooded with new scents, and it took him a moment to take in these surroundings. Several other crates lay open beside him, all empty, but lingering with the putrid human scent. The river rushed loudly in front of him and he could see the glittery scales of the fish he sensed swam beneath. Suddenly an urge for hydration flooded through him, his tongue having a twinge of dryness. But for now he ignored it, and turned to the crates beside him. He walked over to a smaller crate to the right of his, and stuck his black nose inside, filling it with a scent. Besides the strong smell of humans, he smelled a canine smell, a female one at that. He took in her scent, storing it inside his brain. He did the same process to the other crates beside it, and once he was finished, he made his way down to the river before dipping his whole head into the ice cold water, taking large mouthfuls before completely wading in. Once his pelt was completely soaked did he get out and shake, enjoying his new sense of coolness, and also of freedom. Once he was reasonably dry he stuck his nose into the air, smelling for any scent of the canines he smelled before. Surprisingly, he caught a whiff of the canine of the crate to his right, the female he had smelled before. Quickly, the brown and white wolfdog began in her direction hoping to find another canine in the area. He figured that if he found one he would find them all. What he didn't know was that he was being watched by the very humans who brought him here. And he was completely oblivious to their presense.

Lidiya - F - Subordinate - Mention(s): Kodak (bringing you in) ~ The pouring rain and the rapidly dimming sun made it difficult to see where she was going, and while she did want to go out and do her on thing, even she was aware that maybe Merlin did have the right iea after all. But she kind of just had to get away from them for now. The overstuffiness of more than half of them and the syncopathy. It was when she was just about to turn back, as the darkness threatened to go even deeper into full night and the rain poured even heavier, that she noticed a form though the grey. No - not a form. Another animal. She trotted towards it, the dirt slush underneath her paws, and while inwardly regretting coming out at all, her curiosity was aroused slightly. Why would there be anything out at this time? Suerly, they all had the common sense - apparently, unlike her - to seek shelter for the night by now. "... Kodak?" Older than all of them, Kodak was one of the few she could barely tolerate. The only reason that she was able to sometimes have aligned goals with the older male wolf - and really, that was all that mattered - was the fact that sometimes, it felt like he didn't care with the no-noseying business mode. Honestly, she felt the same - but then, she was willing to enforce her demands, unlike a lot of the others. "What are you doing out here?" Unlike the rest of them, it looked like Kodak was still slightly under the sedatives, much like her younger brother had seemed when she had left him in the den space - but slightly less. Lidiya quickly scoured her memory for if he was in the circle of the dogs when they had all awoken, but - no, she didn't think she had seen him. They had woken all of them up, anyway, and Kodak was one of the multiple wolf-dogs that had been in the sanctuary with all of them but hadn't come with them over here. But apparently, Kodak was here. Which was... interesting, after all. She hadn't expected him to be out here - and how had he managed to get here, despite the fact that they had all woken up and moved off so long ago? Was he a late-comer or something? Lidiya didn't know, and she had to wait to see if Kodak gave those answers or not.

Timber - Male - Subordinate - Mentions: Night, Boa (DIR) Everone else (IND) - Timber sat a moment longer, hearing the breath of the wolves around him slow. After a while, he laid his head on his paws and closed his eyes. Though cold outside, the pelts brushing his kept him warm. He pricked his ears listening to Merlin silently. (Sorry for the shortest post ever, I just spit it out cause I'm tired as hell)

Echo/Subordinate/Female/Mentions: Open She didn't fancy going into a den yet so she decided to go for a walk though she made sure she wasn't fair. She was sure that most of the pack her now sleeping but Echo found the raining clearing her head. She had checked on everyone but she wasn't surprised if some were still wandering about. Her dark fur now stuck to her as she had been out in the rain for quite a while.

Star/Female/subordinate/M: none (open) She dozed until the morning sun woke her. She stretched before shaking out her fluffy fur. “oof, why’d that make me dizzy? Eh, probably just hungry, I should find-“ Her thoughts got cut off by the scent of a large deer and she started to track it, killing it then dragging the body back “this is enough to feed the whole pack!!” Technically it could’ve fed her too but she divided it up for the others, planning to get herself a rabbit or something later.

Echo/Subordinate/Female/Mentions: Open Echo yawned, stood up and shook her black and white fluffy fur. Her tail curled at the thought of leaving to Redwood in the morning as she walked out of the den. She had enjoyed the rain so much that she had almost slept outside but had gone into the den. She looked around eyeing the pack with a wary look in her eyes. Everyone was here.

Sable/Female/Subordinate/m: open Sable stretched out slowly, feeling the air brush against her fur as she shook off the remnants of sleep. Around her, the others were beginning to stir as well. The field was quiet except for the soft sounds of their movements and the distant call of birds waking up along with them. She felt both excited and apprehensive about the day ahead. It was only their second day in the wild, and she hadn’t quite adjusted yet. She sat down, enjoying the feeling of knowing that the humans no longer controlled them.

Kodak l Male l Subordinate l M: Lidya . As Kodak began to make his way towards the smell, he began to notice another shape in the distance. It looked like an animal, and it seemed to see him too, and whatever it was began to make its way towards him. His hackles raised, the hairs on the back of his neck on end, until her smell washed over him and she came into view. It was only Lidya. His hackles relaxed and his tail entering a slight wag, he walked over to her side. He still felt a little groggy, but his senses were regaining fast. She said his name and he nodded, wobbling a little as he said it. She asked him what he was doing outnhere, but he just became confused. But he answered nonetheless, "Last thing I remember, I had noticed you and the others were gone, and had run off looking for you, then a got shot with some dart like thing, and then next thing I know I'm cramped up inside some box. I exited and Noone was there but more boxes, then I just started to follow your scent trail, and here I am." Once he finished, questions started running through his head. Why had he been let out later than the others? Why just him? A wave of nausea flooded over him, and he just decided to let everything leave his mind for just a moment. He turned back to Lidiya. "It's getting dark, and would you be able to bring me back to your camp or meeting place, I'll sleep on the edge and wait til morning to announce myself." He knew all about the new pack member traditions, and he didn't know if he would have to go through them again. And if he did, he didn't want the looks straight away. Maybe in the morning at least. But he just glanced Lidiya's way with his golden eyes while he awaited her response.
