I figured Izem would have been with them for a while. I think in the first ever version of this RP, they were cousins.

I think it would make sense for Izem to be with them for a while, perhaps one of the first. At least from the same pride, or kicked out of his own at the same time and joined them.

Same pride would make his loyalty to them more plausible, I think. That way he'd have grown up with them.
