Appearance:

Uki has a height of 27 inches and a weight of 86 pounds. She has the common coloring of a husky on her face, the gray mask around her eyes and little black and white spots around the mask. Her nose is black and her eyes are Heterochromatic, meaning that her eyes are two different colors, the left being brown and the right being a shade of light blue. Her ears stand straight up and are both completely white.
Uki's body has medium length fur and is covered with white, dots of black and gray here and there. Most of the coloring is on her front legs where her two paws are covered with black, almost as if she'd stepped in ash. Her left back paw also has this black fur. Her tail curls over her back like those of the Pyrenees. It has a black tip and is slightly tan in the middle. Uki has two scars, one on her nose and the second across her front right leg.

Personality:

Uki is a very kind dog, loving her family as much as most would. She would protect them at any cost. She couldn't bare for them to get hurt on her watch. Uki loves adventuring almost as much as she loves her family. The door just for her let's her adventure into the town on her own. She loves talking with others and meeting new faces. As the moon rises into the night sky, Uki heads back and enjoys food dropped by her humans, especially the meat or chips. She loves spending time with them and is very protective over them. All though she seems very kind on the outside, you would not want to get on her bad side. Most dogs have only seen Uki as her kind energetic self. Uki is also stubborn with things she absolutely does not want to do. Very few things (or possibly dogs) will change her mind. On the other hand, what she does want to do, she is completely committed and determined to do and will continue until she dies or makes it to the end. However, she may not want to try something new but watch at first. She may become more used to it after awhile and end up liking it. This makes her a bit skeptical towards new things but if it's to help fellow dogs or her family, she will try her, best scared or not. Uki loves races and running with the other dogs. She loves snow as much as she loves eating it. It is practically the best thing to play in. Uki is overall a very kind and energetic dog who loves having fun and playing with others.

Their Motives Towards The Wolves/What's Going On:

Uki doesn't care where the wolves are as long as they don't mess with her family or other dogs. She has been through cold before and it wasn't quite fun but perhaps she'll make it through this one like she'd made it through the last.

Other(backstory):

Uki had been left out to die with her two brothers in the cold of the winter for two whole days when they were one month old. One brother had made it a day before passing away. Uki was determined to keep going. She had made it as far as she possibly could before passing out. Then, she could hear a motor coming toward her. She was to tuckered out to do anything though. A snowmobile with two people found her and one of her brothers and took them to their house as fast as possible. Uki tried to keep awake but her paws burnt with cold and her lungs hurt. She was sore and tired. Once they got to the house, Uki was still breathing, the same couldn't be said about her brother though. Uki had been warmed up with a blanket and kept near the heat for awhile, the humans unaware if she'd live or not. Uki had survived till morning though and she seemed farely energetic and playful. She'd survived a harsh winter, earning her the name "Uki" meaning "survivor" in Inuit, given to her by the humans.

Appearance

This female holds a certain regality to her. An intense, unwavering stare is set in a refined, wolfish face. Her well-proportioned body is lean and muscular; her thick yet sleek coat outlines and defines her sinew. Sonora's teeth are long, sharp, and glimmering white, easily seen when her maw parts even a little ways. She looks wild and untamed, demanding respect, and yet, she never appears ruffled or outwardly ferocious. She is not, however, the most... intimidating, stature-wise. Sonora stands at a decent 25 inches and weighs around 80 pounds. There are certainly larger dogs capable of being much stronger, faster, and more fear-inducing. Her power, her hold over those in her gang, comes from different sources.

Sonora's coat very much displays her malamute and German shepherd ancestry. She has the telltale markings of both: a darker mask shrouds her face and the top of her head; her neck, shoulders, and much of her body host the shepherd's saddle markings and malamute's streaks; these range in color from a silvery slate to a light tan. Sonora's tail has a slight curl to it, though it only shows up in the last half. Her coat is medium in length and very, very soft. It's thick enough to provide protection while remaining light enough to prevent her from overheating. Beneath it lay a plethora of scars that hint at stories never told.

Her honey gold eyes may be warmer in coloration, but they radiate a much colder intensity. They display knowledge, fierceness, and a certain judgemental, more aloof look. Their coloring goes along well with her voice: smooth and soft, yet not easily ignored. She does not need to speak loudly in order to catch the attention of others around her. She simply needs to exist.

Her gait is a bouncy one. Sonora's body is very involved with her movements, especially when running: it's her back doing as much work as her legs, especially in that case. In certain circumstances, especially those dealing with intimidation or serious matters, her gait slows and smooths out to one of ghostly fluidity.

Personality

Sonora is an individual that comes off as much older than she is. She's mature, collected, and always composed. She meets challenges with a level head and uses everything around her to her advantage. Whether an encounter ends cordially or in a brawl, she is careful to get out with the upper hand, even if she is defeated. Even a lost battle can win a war, you know? Of course, winning outright is always preferable, and she is certainly capable of such feats. She is efficient and calculating in every aspect of her life.

She is a hard individual. She has a few sweet bones in her body, but the vast majority of them are not. Sonora is a survivor, a fighter, and an absolute menace when she feels the need to be. While she may not be the brawniest dog, she has a way with words that can be much more dangerous than any tooth or claw. A subtle phrase can rip open a heart; a soft story can mend it back again. She excels at finding and exploiting other animals' weak points both physically and mentally, but the latter is her... specialty. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in poison.

Besides her skills with weaving and manipulating words, she is known well for her cold fury. This female does not lash out blindly, she does not tremble with rage, and she does not light up on fire at the slightest offense. No, when she is angry, the shadows seem to congregate around her frame. The air becomes dense, the birds cease to make sounds, and the wind stills. She herself seems to grow larger, and the normal fire in her eyes becomes colder than the frozen lake waters, colder than the dead. It is when she is in this state that it is best to run.

Sonora is also quite loyal, once someone has gained her trust. This takes time, though, and she is not a gullible creature, nor can she be forced into parasitic relationships. Sonora is fine being on her own, and she would rather be such than be stuck working with, or for, some snobbish, cruel jackwagon of a creature. She is smart and resourceful, and she has lived her life thus far with very little help from others.

Despite living a primarily solitary life, Sonora is both dominant and ambitious. She does not take orders from anyone except for herself, though she will listen to the suggestions and opinions of her friends and acquaintances. Her goal is to find a place where she can live alone, wild, and untouched. Her more driven and independent characteristics are not as well suited for group work, in her opinion, though if she is going to team up with anyone for anything, she will be heard and listened to, or she's out.

Sonora is fierce -- and fiercely protective. She has a high maternal drive and will almost take pleasure in killing a creature that threatens a puppy. Ah, screw that, she would totally enjoy it. And maybe regret it a little later. She may be territorial and fairly aloof with new encounters, but she is always willing to help almost anyone with almost anything.

Thoughts on What's Going On?

This is not her first hard season, but she has certainly never lived through another like it. She is determined to tough it out, just as she always has -- preferably without the help of others, but she herself is fine helping.

Appearance

Atlas has the normal characteristics of a husky dog. His pelt is a pattern of black and white, giving him a sharp and clad appearance, almost as if he was wearing a tux. His fur is long, offering a warm coat in the harsh Alaskan climate. Black fur reaches over the top of his body such as his head, back of the ears, back, sides, upper chest, and tail. His nose is also black as well as some markings on his face. Two black stripes run from his forehead down to his nose almost as well as outline his unique eyes. One His left eye is a striking icy blue hue while his right eye is dark brown, making his gaze quite mysterious. White fur covers the rest of his body, auch as his inner ears, face, throat, lower chest, belly, and legs. The tip of his fluffy tail is also white. He stands at 26 inches at the shoulder and is about 55 pounds. He is quite tall for his breed due to his longer and lithe build, allowing his speed and agility.

Personality
Still hyper and quite spry, Atlas is full of energy. When he is on break from working with his sled team, this dog finds other things to do with his time. Whether is exploring the little town some more(which is hard to do, he has lived here his entire life and knows almost every nook and cranny), beg for scraps from the butcher(or that one boy who would feed him those rainbow goldfish), play in the snow with his friends, or maybe sweet talk the local females. Now, he may sound a bit childish, which he definitely can be, but don't get him wrong. Atlas is capable of being serious and goal-oriented as well. The dog enjoys working towards a goal(such as sledding) and putting in effort. Determined and brave, Atlas doesn't back down from challenges easily. It is just that when he is on break, he enjoys to let loose a little bit. This can be refreshing. Atlas almost has two sides, like a coin. One part of him is serious and even stoic, while the other can be almost a playful pup.

Atlas is well known in the little town, too. Social and able to mingle, he finds it easy to weave between crowds and meet others. He is the opposite of shy, as he is quite bold and straightforward. The husky likes have control and being in charge of situations, but he can also let go of the reigns if he knows someone else can successfully lead instead. Due to his silver tongue and ability to make easy conversation, he can be quite the charmer and flirting can be his second language. He doesn't try to mess with hearts, though. Atlas is not the cold manipulative type at all. In fact, he can be compassionate and protective over his friends. The dog is more than willing to lend a helping hand when necessary, and even when it isn't necessary, too.

Atlas is easy going and optimistic. When he lends his bright perspective, it can either lift the mood or support someone in need. He is more than willing to lend a helping paw if need be, too. The dog is not afraid of getting a little dirty or sweaty to do it. In fact, he really doesn't like the pooches who live the easy life, warm and on a plush dog bed being fed milk bones their entire lives for simply sitting and looking pretty. To him, life is enjoyable through hard working and earning your way.

The town is going to get through it. He believes that they all need to stick together in order to do so. So far, he is pretty optimistic.

Appearance

Dressed in natural browns and tans of the forest, Nirvana stands at about 32 inches at the shoulder, being a little taller than the average female and she weighs near 100 pounds. Her frame is taller rather than thick and muscular, which gives her a thin, agile, and tall figure. Her lean limbs are enough to propel her through the forest at high speeds while also being lithe enough to make sharp turns.
Her fur is mostly black and grey near the spine, base of the tail, shoulders, and head. White tufts of fur are sprinkled along her shoulders and haunches, where tan fur begins to cover her frame. White, creamy fur grows in at her belly and throat.

Personality
Nirvana is very independent and can be considered a free thinker. She doesn't like being told what to do all the time, and will almost always think things through until she is satisfied. And when she isn't satisfied? You will know about it. Unafraid to raise her voice, she lets her opinions be known. Not in a bratty kind of way, though. She is quite witty and smart and can even be funny, too. So when she snaps back at you, she will likely use her wit to mock you as well. She doesn't mean any harm by it, of course. But hey, if you're offering a stupid idea, isn't it her job to let you know how stupid it is? And to poke fun at it? Poking fun and making jokes makes her criticism go over smoother, or at least, that is what she hopes.

As said before, she has an independent streak. Nirvana has the attitude of "if you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself". Thus, she can be found roaming around alone quite frequently. While this can be seen as dumb or maybe even aloof, she isn't helpless. Her quick thinking allows her to maneuver her way out of situations usually. And if it doesn't? Well she isn't going to go down without a fight. You can bet that she will do her hardest to bring you down with her.

Now, Nirvana can be perceived as a little brash, which she is, but she isn't particularly mean. She doesn't try to hurt your feelings, but your feelings may just be collateral damage. And if that is the case, she is probably sorry about it, though she finds it hard to apologize when it is her fault. She has a decently sized ego and pride, and she doesn't like being knocked down a peg.

Pretty mischeivious and mysterious, she doesn't like letting others know too much about her or what her next moves are. Some may think that it's a safety thing, always being two steps ahead. But really, she likes to be considered mysterious or tricky. Being well read isn't interesting to her. Others who are open books seem boring to her, almost. Things that allure her and attract her are mysteries and things that don't quite make sense. The quieter ones who sit back before speaking and seem to have some kind of glint in their eye are the ones whom she finds most appealing. Thus, she mirrors that. Getting to know her might be difficult, but it would probably be the opposite of boring or easy.

Nirvana also sticks to herself most of the time. Some would be shocked to learn she runs with a pack, as she is almost always seen alone. It isn't that she doesn't like company, but maybe she hasn't found the right kind yet. She has had thoughts about leaving her useless pack and striking out on her own. It isn't that she doesn't want to share her life with someone, it is just that she hasn't really found anyone worth it yet. Once she becomes invested though, she will be forever by their side.

Stance
The town is.. interesting. The dogs are probably going to die if they aren't helped soon. Does that mean she has to be the one helping? Probably if no one else will do it. Heck, even if someone else did it, they wouldn't do it right anyway. Oh, but she doesn't feel a certain way about the dogs yet. Really, this whole tragedy is just interesting to her and helps her curiosity. Until she becomes invested.

A newer street dog who'd been taught of sled racing and is very knowledgeable about it.

Appearance:

Katjuk is 23 inches tall and weighs 67 pounds. She may not be as large as others but that doesn't stop her. She can have perks of being little and seems to be a bit more agile than others.
Katjuk has common ice blue eyes that husky's have. Her coat though, is unusually white. There are very few markings of other colors on her coat. She has faint black speckles around her eyes are on her ears. One of the more noticeable markings is on her left front paw. It is covered completely in black almost like a single sock on her foot. Her coat helps her hide quite well in the snow though and her tail may give her away at times for it has a small black dot and is constantly wagging. It almost seems to have a mind of its own.

Katjuk has been into contact with many prey animals and has few scars to prove the fights. Her most noticeable scar is along her shoulder where she'd fought a fox, it had gotten away but not without giving a warning. Then, Katjuk has two more along her left cheek from a rabbit's claws. She had successfully gotten a meal that day though.

Personality:

At first glance, Katjuk may not seem to be the kindest. She usually sports a blank look on her face and doesn't give off the best energy. She has been through tough times with her owners and this may give this younger dog and older vibe.
Katjuk isn't the type to talk and play with others for hours and hours. She does like keeping to herself and doesn't like sharing unless the dog is in need of help. Out there, it's every dog for themself. In the town, sacrifices could be made to help.

Although she may not seem to like much and is alone most the time, Katjuk does have a soft spot for pups or dogs younger than her. She knows how tough it can be to live alone on the streets as a pup. Just yourself and no one that cares. She is very observant around these types of dogs who walk past a stray and help rather than the spoiled once who prick their noses up and think they are better than everyone. She doesn't like helping others but would do anything for a fellow street dog or a kinder dog.

Katjuk is quite educated in sled racing and was taught as a team dog although those few months were long gone. That is the one thing that she can remember from that time where she could run alongside other dogs and feel the wind in her face, racing to the end of an icy trail, hoping to earn something. Perhaps some chips or some more dog food. At points, she is honestly glad that she was left behind.
Katjuk does live alone and doesn't like having many dogs as company. She dikslikes humans and tends to nip if they come near. She doesn't trust them to be good anymore. She would protect herself and the few that she cares about with her life. She couldn't bear to lose her cousin especially because she was always there for her when Katjuk had decided to live and help other strays. She isn't afraid of much and would help dogs withe anything they may need, if she gets some of the profit.

Their Motives Toward The Wolves/Whats Going On:

If the other dogs are doing well, which is the most of Katjuk's concerns, she thinks they can get through this harsh winter. If the wolves come near, she'll tear 'em to shreds...or that's what she said she'd do.

Other(backstory):

Katjuk was born into a family of sled dogs. She had started training when she turned a year old and was given the name Katjuk or "arrow" in Inuit because of her speed. The musher would start racing within a few months. Katjuk was excited during her races but the musher wouldn't earn much. Soon, races were being held too far away where they'd have to move. Katjuk was excited but that soon turned to fear. The musher left her outside the house as he took the "older and more experienced" dogs with him. Katjuk had been taught everything that they had so why had she been left here? Soon, she slept in boxes and tried hunting small game to survive. As she started getting to know a dog named Uki, they found that they were cousins but when Uki offered a home that Katjuk could stay in, she declined. She has a new hate for humans and vowed to help any stray that needed it with a small speech; "I, Katjuk, vow to help any stray that needs it. No matter if it's sharing food or hunting one meal for an elder. I will do whatever I need if they deserve to earn whatever they request." Every day as she awoke she would say one sentence, one that she'd said on her first day on the streets; "For as long as I live, humans will never hurt other dogs like me (strays)." She will repeat this every day till she can't anymore.

Kallik is at a smaller scale due to her Finnish side. But the medium size breed got her one more inch after 20 in at the shoulder and she weighs about 55 pounds. Kallik is fairly small to the others,and her strength isn't as enhanced as theirs. So, her nimble and slender build does have their advantages with quick speed and agility with combat and hunting creatures smaller and larger than her. Which was her job being a hunting dog until her owner died of a hunting trip 2 winters back.

Kallik has some characteristics of her Finnish side with her size. But she is mostly dark grey and light coloring through her body with black tufts of fur. Her face is very tricolor like a Finnish. Her cheeks to her muzzle is light grey with white and black tufts and the rest is dark grey eith hints of black shade around her eyes and her ear tufts of light grey making it look like a Great Horned Owl. Her fur is very cloud like with her tail curling up to her back. Her eyes are light blue coloring.

As a Stray she has gotten in fights. And sometimes fights you get scars. She has scratch scar mark over her pink and black nose. But that is the main one.

She has a special ability with a track ability so she can find anything with a sniff of her nose. Like smelling Lil' Debbie Cakes. The smell of prey,humans,predators,and other dogs so she is wary and cautious if her surroundings and alert.

Personality:

Kallik is very introverted as she likes the quiet and simple peace around her. When she gets around the other dogs. She is very shy and awkward can't finding the right words. She will either not talk or being talking so fast no one can understand. She is very skittish always seeming in a hurry to be away or busy with something. Kallik is timid and scared to do or try anything new. She is very tight on a schedule or morals for herself. Kallik is very independent as she doesn't like to talk or socialize. She has been by herself for ages since her parents left. Other than her owner who never really cared for her just for his game. She always did things on her own. Her stubborn attitude is not much words only some snippy words and huffy puffy exaggerations. Though it will die down for her gratitude.

Her idea of being alone scares her but it also comforts her which is very hard on her. But she is afraid to trust and love something/someone because she feels deep down they will up and leave her. Kallik is very nurturing if she finds an injured dog or anything that she finds. She will try to fix them or help them to back to health or until she isn't needed any longer.

Kallik is highly intelligent with not book smarts of course she's a dog. But as street and battle strategic genius which is a tactical advantage for her. Since she is small and very observant she does very well of knowing places to hide or drawing her enemies for her advantage.

Thoughts on Whats Going On:

She is a bit worried. But her little plan with wolves is too keep to herself as always. It has worked for her whole life so far. And this harsh winter to scavenge as always.

Tadashi is shortish side with more brute muscles and fur. He is standing at 30 inch3s shorter for male size. But he is ripped with pure muscle only to hidden under his thick white fur. His eye are golden color with no light or hint of emotion in his eyes. Tadashi ears have light pinkish in them and his nose is a light pink tone. Tadashi was gifted with unusually long claws that has helped him I'm battles and climbing on mountains and rocky terrain. Tadashi is missing clumps of fur down his back from fights in the past.

Tadashi is brute with a promising suffering death to Popsicles. Tadashi scent is old blood and death. But with a chilling smell of salt water.

Personality:

A wolf with many words, but his bite is worse than his bark.

He is a fighter not a lover. His aggression is unmatched with tendencies of to kill and unnecessary bloodshed to just to get others to follow him. He is not afraid to put his paw down and speak his mind. He is very good with his words of charming and manipulative ways to get others on his side or for his use. Tadashi has been on his own for a long time as a pup at 8 months old when his family and pack were ripped away from hunters and dogs. So he has slowly turned ruthless,cold, and insane.

His life is devoted to solitary no one needs him nothing needs him. He only uses others for his own benefit for power or revenge. He is keenly on perfection. Everything in his eyes needs to be perfected to the tip top shape and he believes he is god. He is the top dog ready to take down anything trying to mat h his power or attitude. He has jotting holding back which is dangerous to the dogs. He will stop at nothing to bury them alive in the snow. He is shall not surrender to them until his last breath. He hasn't had any good intentions or good deeds believing it shall do nothing that benefits him. He is purely selfish if there is him and only dog/wolf in the world with only one thing of food. He'll take it for himself and watch the other suffer and die of hunger.
