"I have no clue how we're going to make traps or anything to hunt animals. I assume it's easy to skin and cook them and the harder part is killing them." Finn said, expressing his concern to Jinx. "We'll figure it out, or we'll just have to move around a lot to steal from stores and stuff." Jinx replied, "I know you don't like stealing but if we can't figure out the hunting situation you know we'll have to resort to that." Jinx added. Finn was hesitant to answer. He knew she was right, but he was determined to figure out how to hunt. "Maybe if we go back into town we could steal a fishing road, it would be hard but I mean it helps a lot. Fish are easy to gut and cook, I at least have experience doing that." Finn suggested. "Ugh it would be hard though since fishing rods are big, we'd get noticed so we'd have to run real fast." Finn then added. He had some money left, but he didn't know if it was enough for a fishing rod. Jinx had no money since they had spent it all on food and other important things in the first month. Finn carefully grabbed the hot pot of food, almost dropping it since it was hot. He quickly set it down so that it could cool off. "We have enough food to figure stuff out." Finn reassured, grabbing two spoons and handing one to Jinx. He got a spoonful of food and blew on it before eating it.

After shedding his clothes and tossing them into the laundry basket, Raihn moved over to the shower and stretched his hand out, placing his palm beneath the raining water. With the water at the temperature he liked, he moved to step into the shower and tilted his head up and into the falling water. Refreshing, relaxing, rejuvenating. It was almost like the warmth and comfort of the shower, the relaxing heat of the water running down his back was enough to wash away the stress and tension that had still been gripping onto him and tightening his shoulders. For a second, he didn't think about what he'd seen, or about trying to ignore it while spewing random facts and bits of information in an effort to think on something else. ~~~~~~~~~~ As she neared the building, Aleria's hastened and excited footsteps slowed before stopping altogether. There was the muffled sound of conversation and the scent of food. A clear sign that someone else was already here, inside, and claiming this place as their own. "Damn it." She muttered under her breath, and for a brief moment, she considered leaving, heading back the way she'd come into the city. As swiftly as that thought had arrived, she shoved it aside with a shake of her head. Not happening. There was no way she could go back, not with those men after her. She'd already spent two weeks in the slums of that city and had no doubt that the people looking for her would find her if she went back, maybe not right away, but they would. Throwing a glance over her shoulder and toward the tracks she frowned before shaking her head and looking back at the abandoned building, or well what should have been an abandoned building. If going back wasn't an option then pressing forward was a necessity, which meant that she needed food and from the smell, whoever was in there sure as hell had some. ` Swallowing back her hunger, Aleria stepped around the warehouse looking for a way to get in that wasn't the front doors. It took her a moment in the fading light to spot the singular door on the side of the building. A pleased smile pulled at her lips and she headed towards it, being ever mindful of her steps and doing her best not to be loud or draw attention. Reaching the door, Aleria paused, but only for a moment before she reached for it and slowly pulled it open. It groaned, its hinges creaking and she froze, praying that whoever was inside would dismiss it as nothing more than the wind. Wind, that was little more than a feathery breeze and not something that typically would be able to move a wooden door as heavy as the one she had opened.

As Finn began to chew his food, he noticed Jinx's head perk up, like when a dog's ears perk up after hearing a noise. "Did you hear that?" Jinx whispered, slightly sounding nervous. "It was probably just an animal or the wind, you should know this by now Jinx." Finn reassured. He knew she got frightened easily, but he had also learned how to calm and reassure her. He glanced over at her for a moment, making brief eye contact before scanning all around them. Since it was dark it was hard to see anything, so he thoroughly looked. Nothing seemed to catch Finn's eye so he looked back at Jinx, giving her a reassuring smile before taking another spoonful of food to his mouth. "We should get some rest, we've been walking all day. I'm exhausted." Finn stated, finishing off his food with another spoonful. "Yeah, ugh I'm so tired as well." Jinx agreed. They both worked to scrap the pot clean before setting it away from the fire. They both got everything that could catch on fire away from the fire so that they wouldn't have to worry about it when sleeping. Finn then watched as Jinx laid down in their tent and got comfortable. Since they have been surviving out in the woods together for a while now, they have gotten to the point where they can sleep next to each other comfortably. They even cuddled up some nights when it was too cold, but also for that sense of comfort. They really only had each other, but they liked it that way. Finn stayed by the fire for a bit longer, waiting for Jinx to fall asleep, but he knew she wouldn't fully fall asleep until he laid down next to her.

Sticking to the shadows of the building, Aleria peered inside, letting her eyes peek around the edge of the doorway and towards the silhouettes of the two people who were seated by the fire. She could smell the food in the air, its' scent tantalizing. God it smelled so good, and as if in response her stomach growled, rumbling within her stomach like a beast that was ravished. In all honesty, that's exactly how she felt, after all, it had been days since she'd last eaten and at this point, she was just about willing to eat anything that came her way. Instead of heading inside right away, she lingered in the entrance of the doorway she'd opened, hidden by the shadows of night, and it was only when she noticed one of the people, a woman from both the looks and sound of it, heading into the tent that had been set up for the night, that she moved inside. Each step was calculated and quiet. She didn't want or need anyone to hear her coming, to figure out that they weren't alone, not if she intended to take one of those bags they had, not if she planned on stealing herself some food, and she definitely planned on doing that. Slowly she began to inch closer to the fire, ever mindful of the fact that someone was still sitting there, awake and aware. Still, perhaps she'd be able to grab one of the bags and make a run for it before he knew what was happening. ` It was only when she was a few steps away from the tent and a few feet from the fire that she slowed her already sluggish pace. Her gaze drifted to the tent for a second, as if ensuring the woman who was inside it wasn't beginning to stir before she turned her eyes to the man. Don't turn around... don't turn around... she silently pleaded as she slowly reached for the bag that was nearest to her. Her heart was racing, picking up into a more hurried rhythm when her fingers closed around the strap of the backpack nearest to her.

(Sorry this one may not be that long) Finn stared at the fire for a little while longer, just thinking. He thought about anything and everything, from hunting to stealing, to his family, and Jinx. He missed his family, but he couldn't go back or send a letter, not now or anytime soon, he needed to stay away long enough for the police to close the case. After a while of thinking and hearing the sound of the fire crackling, he decided to grab a water bottle from his backpack to drink a bit before he headed off to bed. He almost had a heart attack when he turned his head to his backpack. A shadowy figure was right in front of his eyes and it scared the living shit out of him. "Holy shit." Finn said, catching his breath. He didn't notice that they were trying to steal a backpack until he looked down at their hand wrapped around one of the straps. "Aye, are you tryna steal our backpack? You coulda just asked dude." Finn whisper shouted, ripping the backpack back from the person. Once he got the backpack back he took a closer look at the person, noticing it was a girl.

So close. The thought that food and nourishment were only moments away from belonging to her was almost enough to have her forgoing any remaining caution and yanking the bag up and turning to run. She knew that was the quickest way to get caught, the action as well as the sound would likely alert the guy sitting at the fire and perhaps even the woman in the tent. Just as she was beginning to lift the bag from the ground she froze when the male reached for the bag and turned to look in its direction. The moment his eyes landed on her she felt her heart stop, her breath catching. For the briefest of moments, she was grateful that she had her hood tugged over her head, hopefully making the fact that she was a girl less noticeable. Instead of letting go of the backpack she tightened her hold on it and was just about to yank it up and move to start running when the bag was yanked from her hold, his voice breaking the silence in the building. Quickly she moved to take a hurried couple of steps back, now worried about what this person might do with her. The very notion of asking, the idea that this person thought she or anyone else would do such a thing seemed stupid. After all, what were the odds that this guy, or that friend of his would share anything they had with her.

For the next couple of seconds, Finn stared at her and she stood still. "Well, you clearly wanted my bag so what do you want, food, water? We don't have much but I can spare some if you're desperate enough to steal." Finn said, trying to sound as friendly as possible. Like he said, he knew they didn't have much to spare but clearly, she was desperate for something. He looked down at his bag after she was silent for a bit and rummaged through it. He would have guessed she would have run after he caught her but surprisingly she didn't. Finn was done talking, if she didn't say anything back then he wouldn't speak again to her. He pulled out his water bottle and took a sip before putting it back. He then gathered everything that he and Jinx had left out and put them in her backpack. He then lightly tossed the bag in the tent as far away from Jinx so then he didn't hit her.

Aleria felt as though the words were frozen on her tongue. She knew that she should say something, that she should apologize or try to worm her way out of the trouble she was so certain that she had found herself in. When the guy spoke once more, asking what it was she had been desperate enough to steal she tossed a glance down at the backpack and chewed at her bottom lip. Again she remained silent and it was only once this guy began to pack up the things around their camp she bit at her bottom lip. "Food..." She mumbled, her gaze warily studying the male in front of her. Could she really trust his offer to be genuine? Honestly, she doubted it, and she was cursing her idiocy for remaining here when she should be getting out and moving as far from here as fucking possible, and yet she continued to stand still.

When Finn was about to zip his backpack up, the girl finally spoke. She wanted food, and that made Finn wonder if she was on her own as well. Obviously, he wasn't going to ask, but if that was the case he wanted to help her, like how he helped Jinx. "Okay, well, we mostly have canned foods but I did score a bag of chips a bit ago. It's really your choice but Im assuming you may be out here by yourself and something canned would be better." He stated, pausing for a moment before speaking again, "I know you may want to get on your way and not stay here much longer but I could heat you up something." Finn offered. He looked up at the hooded girl and offered her a warm smile. Glancing over at Jinx, he thought to himself, would she be fine with him doing this? He assumed she should be since he helped her when she was in need and he was simply just doing that now with this stranger. He returned his eyes to the girl and again offered that same warm, friendly smile.

Aleria was still, her eyes on the male before her, uncertainty in her expression. Honestly, she wasn't sure what to make of him. His offer seemed genuine, and based on all that he was saying he didn't seem like he was lying or like there were any nefarious actions behind his words and actions, which had her feeling all the more suspicious and uncertain about this. Chewing at her bottom lip she glanced down at the bag he was holding, her mouth watering at the mention of food. With her eyes remaining on the stranger before her, Aleria took note of the glance that he threw over in the direction of the tent, and his partner within it. When he looked back at her and offered a warm smile she tensed a little. She wasn't used to genuine kindness, and so felt herself feeling all the more unsettled by the male's actions. What did he want in exchange for food? Especially for something hot, something that could warm her up. "What... what do you want in return?" She questioned, her voice hesitant and doubtful. "I don't have anything I can give you." She said.
